I had the Scorpion legitimately from a happy meal. I don’t remember how I got the Dinobot but I found the blue spider under the seat of a public transportation bus, I remember every time after that I went on the public bus I would check under the seats hoping to find a different one.
Seeing this after stumbling upon another Beast Wars video. I definitely remember these and owned a few, to my memory the monkey/bat guy and the T-Rex. They were solid little figures; I never made the connection that they were fast food promos.
Funny enough, I just learned last week that a toy I had when I was little and really liked was also a McDonalds happy meal toy, and I never knew it, cause there wasn't any branding or stamping on it that would give it away. I know some people see these videos and think I'm being too hard on these, but there's no denying that for a HM toy, these were some of the best, only outdone by the good Hotwheel years and the very few times you got literal Lego.
You can totally use the beast wars rhino as a stand in for rhinox if you want to have a McDonald's beast machines display. Now all you would need is a silverbolt..... actually now that I think about it, you could just use the real silverbolt toy for this and he'd fit in much better here than in an actual base machines collection
I only had the panther, and I loved it. Seeing the rest of these.. I wasn’t really missing out. Most of these made laugh pretty hard when I saw them. Thanks for the video.
the spider, cheetor and the rat were most common at the mcdonalds I used to eat at. I did recall getting the manta ray guy and the dragon that stood upright. but yea, I remember wanting the jetstream looking one so bad and never pulled one, but they all had hilariously bad transformations and build quality either way lol
I had the manta ray one when I was really really little. Then they did Transmetals Beast Wars or something, from which I got Scorponok. Ah... Memories...
Jetstorm was my favorite toy as a kid. We had many adventures together. The things you thought were light on Jetstorm is actually the light piping for his crystal.
I got Manta Ray for a few bucks at an estate sale. She scales well with GI Joe due to how short she is. Paint slightly scuffed and no file card, though.
i had the scarab one...the legs are supposed to be bent like that, yours looks fine. i remember either a friend or cousin having the manta ray one and thinking it was cool lol
I remember trying to collect these as a kid but everytime I would go to McDonalds I always get rhino or the cheetah overall I think the toys were somewhat accurate to how they look in the show
Most figures from the Beast Wars lines are just toys, as even the figures based on proper characters don't really resemble them, but all of the Beast Machines figures are from the show.
Not every cheetor toys are dumb but the McDonald's version very dumb and plus they didn't come with instructions because they're small kid toys and simple transformations

I'm surprised how accurate the Happy Meal Beast Machines toys are compared to the actual mainline toys.
Ah Childhood. Sometimes questionable, often times full of simpler joys. Well done bud!
Had both beetles. The rhino. The tank. The motorcycle. The bat. The cheetah.
As a kid I always felt these were some of the better McDonald’s toys.

Beast Wars was my introduction to the Transformers franchise.

I wonder why McDonald's stoped making their transformer toys like this

That Happy Meal Tankor looks kinda cute looking.
I th9 k the Panther is actually the best looking one haha. But maybe because I had that one as a kid. The manta ray one doesn't look too bad too.
the vehicons ain't that bad, especially Tankor
Are all of these from the show or are some only happy meal toys?

@@ArcNeoMasato oh ok thank you
Jetstorm reminds me of G1 Cyclonus.
I never noticed that before, but he really does actually!
Too much filibuster
You need to be a good little boy and just do the transformations for us. That’s why we’re all here.
Optimus looks like the grinch lmfao
He does actually! I'm almost angry I haven't realized that for 20 years now. lol
Gotta love the janky McDonalds' toys we all wanted.
Not every cheetor toys are dumb but the McDonald's version very dumb and plus they didn't come with instructions because they're small kid toys and simple transformations
