We met you on Saturday at the shindig - my husband was the one doing the live stream with all those computers - I was back by the main door (with that huge dog !! )
Randy is full of So Much knowledge after five years of hands on experimenting. I was able to tour their greenhouses with Ben @VWFamilyFarm while I was up for the #Shindig this weekend. Wow! What a cool place! Randy and Jill got me set up with some hydroponic supplies, and I'm already working with them on my small balcony. Truly Amazing to see all they have done there. great videos, great hydroponic systems. I built a system with perlite for my NFT system. Tomato growth is faster and better with perlite. I have still one question. How often and how long does the pump run. The perlite retains water, which means that you have to water a lot less.
Thanks! In the buckets with perlite we water for 15 minutes 3-6 times a day depending on plant size and temperature. If the NFT system is shallow, probably double that.
