  • In this episode of Trucks And Junk I retrofit
    the original tires to fit the new axle . Then we go out to the field to see just how much it can pull.

    The gocart didn't fail due to lack of power, it was lack of traction. It has much less weight over the back wheels. People use stock golf carts to move aircraft around all the time so I'm not surprised your cart pulls a 5000lb truck.

      Do they move the plane in a grassy field 🤔 or a flat runway. but you know a test is a test. Thank you for watching, though

      And also a push back tug cart is what I assume you are talking about has 4 cylinder car engine's in them they just look small because of how big the plane is they way 54 tons by the way just a little info for you

    This is awesome! Watched the whole build and subbed. That said, how has it held up since you completed the build? Any issues or anything you would have done differently? I was considering doing a predator 670 build, but the three speed seems like way more fun. Thanks!

      It has held up awesome, but I would have preferred to use the original rear end due to the problem with turns. Other than that, it has ben awesome .

    That was pretty awesome. I’m assuming the grass was dry. I’m thinking you would need the other tires if the grass was wet or in snow or mud.

      Yes, the grass was dry. I wanted to film it in the parking lot by my house but unfortunately it was occupied for an event that day so I'm glad it worked out because I had my doubts 😅 😊 but as always thank you for watching.

    Was considering your set-up for my own build. Do you feel that your cart has enough torque in first gear to drive up some loading ramps into the back of a slightly lifted pickup? It's a pretty steep climb and never saw you try that. Thanks for taking the time to make this series.

      the hill coming ot of the field is pretty steep and it makes it up that so I would say it would and if it dont you can always make the rear sprocket a little bigger to get more torque out of it .and thank you for watching

      Yes I thought it was pretty good it got that far. I didn't think it would pull the car. lol glad it did though

    a better way to measure would've been to extend the compass out to both sides, make 2 points on the paper and divide it in half. This would have removed the guesstimate of the center

    There's no adapter available?

    • @trucksandjunk6190
      @trucksandjunk6190  Год назад +2

      There may be, but most of them will space your wheels out, and I don't think that would look well unless it is lifted and I could also order the correct rim as well but I'm a little cheep when I have a drill bit 😆 it's more fun 😉

    Please lose the music. Can't hear the engine when pulling.
    That's the point right, what the engine capabilities are, not the music?

    • @trucksandjunk6190
      @trucksandjunk6190  Год назад

      I agree the only reason I had to use the music was when I got about 25 ft from the camara my mic kept cutting out and I didn't want dead silence it would had got boring but I assure you when pulling the car and truck it was high rev the whole way but next time I will use my go pro for sound .and thank you for the constructive criticism . And Thank you for watching .
