Sounds awesome if you have any questions along the way feel free to ask and I will try to answer them the best I can good luck with your build and thank you for watching
It was in there when we got it but it appears to be custom in some way because all the shock mounts was just a bolt welded to it, and the axle tube on both sides was shortened so may had been out of somthing else not sure but I am using it on the wheel barrow rat rod so that will be fun 😉
That rear axle looks to be the normal axle in older EZ-GO carts. I'm assuming 10 spline pinion shaft with no threads. Was the driveshaft held on with a set screw?
125cc on my son's lil ATV doesn't have an issue when his sidetracked arse runs in the house to Xbox and leaves it idling sitting still for better part of an hour until I find it and put it up. That's not moving .. they still gonna get air on it via moving even inside that body.. these small 110 125.. dont tend to overhead as easily as you think.. anyways i too gotva dead electric cart, was pondering if i could order a auto reverse 125 and. Have it replaced that motor on its rear axle..i rather do this for the built in reverse.. ovrr a predator engine with no reverse or some add on gear box to reverse.. i see its can be done now... I'm gonna go with a motor like my boys ATV.. good info.. these guys got this it won't cook in there.. this gonna be cheaper than 6 batteries and alotbof weight shedded.. smart
This is what we want. Gas operated carts. As a teenager we tried taking a electric car for kids and converting it to a weed eater motor. The plastic melted under the heat. Wasn’t even worth it
I hope you enjoyed building it. That's what I like most about it is building it. and saving something. Whether or not it turns out good doesn't matter. It's always enjoying the build.and thank you for watching
Hi, I wish I had all your old parts axle and motor and electrical. cool build hope it turn out good.
Nice work men, I will be using your channel as a reference. I started converting a golf cart using a HF 420c with a car muffler .

Great job, guys. Can you tell me about the rear end (setup like a cars)? What it came off of, etc? Thanks in advance.

What is the length was the throttle cable you used?
Would you sell that slip yoke?
Thanks
Awesome
We try
I can't imagine how you're going to handle cooling. The predators and other similar motors have a shroud and fan to sort that out.
I believe we covered that in video five with it's time to ride, so hang in there, and you will be amazed . And thank you for watching

I was thinking about buying that same engine you got from Amazon. Is the engine still working will for you? And what size rear sprocket did you us?
It is still working well, and I ended up using 30 tooth rear sprocket
@trucksandjunk6190 thank you for your answer and video. I am not a mechanic, but I am going to do this on my golf cart. Thanks!!
May I borrow you with another question? What size or type of chain would I need for this motor and 30 tooth sprocket? Thank You!
@@nathanbennett5944 40 series chain worked well for me
what a silly kid...
