Howdie are willing to sel the intake of it ? My son burned ours up using either of alĺ things ha ha so just asking if its possible to do that if the motor is junk thks again for time ya got lots to do he found ya my son so wants to build one of these things is it worth it? Lots of cash to dish out time is free cause its family time he says beter than 🍻 right ? Thks for sharing with us keep it up let me know 😊
Hi, thank you for watching I will probably be fixing the engine for the build, so I will need the intake .But I was able to locate one on amazon for a good price .I think it may help you out . amzn.to/4cDQT1a And building things to have fun with is always the way to go It gives an understanding of how things work and don't work lol, and when you are done with the build, it gives you a sense of pride that hay I built that, but it Takes time and a little money. On the other hand, it is cheaper than going to buy a manufactured go cart most of the time .
@@trucksandjunk6190 thks so much that will work keep it up lm learning to on these builds
This is awesome! Watched the whole build and subbed. That said, how has it held up since you completed the build? Any issues or anything you would have done differently? I was considering doing a predator 670 build, but the three speed seems like way more fun. Thanks!
It has held up awesome, but I would have preferred to use the original rear end due to the problem with turns. Other than that, it has ben awesome .
Awesome. Thanks!
Good stuff!
Nice work. Good process and talk through. Thanks.
It worked i just did mine. Thank you
Glad to see Oscar is back!
Hi, I would have checked oil, made sure crankcase wasn't full of fuel? than I would of cleaned the engine, got all the dirt and grime off, started it and let it run for awhile, and checked for leaks. If crank was over full, could push oil out from places it normally wouldn't.
Agreed, the only reason I didn't is because the previous owner said it had a hole in the block, so I want to take it apart before starting it to minimize damage. Otherwise, I would have fired it up just to see it blow, lol 😆
Now that I have tires, do you know what bolt size will fit the wheel hubs, this is the ONLY video on my axle and you’ve been SUCH a help!
amzn.to/4bakAFq this link is a wheel that is made for that axle. If you want a more stylish wheel, it is a 4×110 lug pattern, which is also a suzuki four-wheeler lug pattern .
Good video, question does all this need to be done to replace the oem hid bulbs?
I don't think so. I think you only have to reach in behind to change the bulb
i have a 2003 vulcan, she cranks super slow and wont start unless jumped usually, but the battery keeps testing good. connections seem secure but everyone keeps saying its definitely the battery, so i take the battery to get tested and they say the battery is good?
It is possible your starter may be going bad .
@@trucksandjunk6190 just got a multimeter today, battery reads 12.26v after a charge and drops to 7v when cranking, gonna get a new battery and go from there it was testing good while outside of the bike even on load testers but i think this means the battery is in fact bad
I just drove my go kart literally a block down the road and was met by a police cruiser so I stopped and waited for him to get out and he immediately comes up to me grilling me telling me it’s against the law I have to shut it off right now ask me where I live I tell him two blocks away and he tells me I’m gonna have to push it home! I said you gonna tow it home of course he said no I said I’m not pushing at home I said there’s nothing against the law about I said it’s a recreational vehicle he told me that he was gonna impound it I told him I won’t be on the road and I said but I’m sure hell not pushing it anywhere and I drove off and guess who didn’t follow me
I love the ingenuity! I’ve recently picked up an old Yamaha G1 roller that’ll be coming to my channel soon. The rear axle from Amazon is what brought me here. I might’ve missed it, but did you happen to know what the hub bolt pattern is? I’m hoping it’s 4x4 like golf carts.
It's not it is 4on 3/4 like a suzuki 4 wheeler or yamaha blaster, and if you plan on using A 420 chain, you will need to drill out the center hole on the sprocket to unfortunately
This is the only video I've found about this exact bike. I'm trying to fix one up right now myself. In much worse shape than that one. Pretty much the only thing good left is the frame
Awesome! I hope you get it running and enjoy it it's always good to save them
Was wandering how many teeth does the rear sprocket have that you went with? I'd like to use the same set up with 420 chain but am having trouble finding a sprocket.
40 tooth, and I had to drill the center hole out to fit the axle
Or you can grind down the hub on the axle to fit the sprocket
i feel ya brother !
Very helpful thank you
You are welcome. I'm glad to help
Just got this bike for free as my first bike, but it won't start and it needs a lot of work. First step is to get it running (hopefully). Thanks for the video on how to clean the carbs. I'm new to all of this.
Awesome! I hope you get it running and enjoy it it is always fun to save them
Is there a way you can connect All that to one big battery
Everything I put on their was connected to the one battery, and it is holding up well. I've only charged it 2 times since the video and the kids ride it almost every other weekend.
Glad you’re back! Missed your helpers!
Nice man
Nice man
I HAVE A SPROCKET FOR MINE I CANNOT FINE WHEELS THAT WILL FIT MY HUBS 😪
The wheels I used in the beginning came of a suzuki 400 4 Wheeler. And I think the yamaha blaster is the same hope this helps
THANKYOU!! It’s been more then a struggle trying too find wheels
If you are going to run it on the street with weight in the back you need to have 1 wheel peel or a limited slip diff.
Agreed or just take it to the drag strip 😂
Is that a coh hard hat?
No, sir, it is a five-star electric hat
@@trucksandjunk6190 thanks for the video. I'm gonna street legal a cart now
I brought this same axle to put on my golf cart but i do need a 420 rear sprocket and i want to do a straight chain do you think its possible?
Yes, it is possible I had to use 420 chain on this build as well, but I had to drill out the center bore on the sprocket to fit
MPH ??
Cool!
We have the same the review mirrors
Thanks
Absolutely amazing video! Thank you for documenting this process for us. Looking to black out some things on my Vulcan 2000
My 2017 Buick Lacrosse is on its 4th headlamp and I'm on my 3rd time doing this job. These lamps will short and kill the daytime running lights on the front and rear at the same time, which cannot be fixed only replaced. This has been the only major issue over 274,000 miles but dang this is a headache.
Wouldn’t a GY6 150 automatic been a better idea?
It could work as well, but you would also have to buy the reverse box for it. Which makes the price go way up. And I think it's more fun to shift Gears lol
@@trucksandjunk6190 those gy6 have a reverse option. I agree shifting gears is more fun, but my wife can’t get the grasp even on our manual quads. Nice job. Wish I had your skills.
Are you in Florida? I have a golf cart with a predator 420 that won’t get past 12 miles an hour. I love the cart. It was the first toy. My dad was able to buy us. Would love for you to work on it.
Unfortunately, I am a 12 hr drive from Florida. I wish I could help
Hey it's Renee's nephew. I was wondering If u could possibly build us something for me and my gf to get around on? If u can please get ahold of me I appriecate it.
Eyy we have the exact same bike! Thannks for making the video man we appreciate it
Can you update the link
amzn.to/49xwd8x
Could you possibly make me a set of those fork sleeves for a 2023 honda grom?!
Unfortunately, I don't think this design will work well with forks that are upside-down
Such a great diy bumper repairs video. Questions here i have are, does it need any adhesion promoter and on which step i need to apply? Also, is it good to apply blending solvent right after i shoot the final clear coat on the blending area?
The mix they make is so good I didn't Ned to use any of it. I just had to roll the tape edges, and it was good to go .
Good job except for the over spray on your camera lens….oops!
A little clear view drops go a long way
That's a HARD NO! No adjustable....NOPE!
Yah it is a pretty big downfall for it, and it doesn't come with a 420 sprocket either . Otherwise, it would be an awesome axle .
I have a surface scuff, it's didn't make it through the layers of paint.
You may be able to just use scratch remover compound
Awesome! Im guessing that is a web site? Thank you for responding.
Hey man. This is probably a long shot. Looks like its been a few months since this video came out. But I was interested in how you were gonna make your sprocket. As I have bought this same axle and need a 420 chain pitch to match a converter I purchased. Thanks. I hope you get this message.
I went to worldking and bought a standard Sprocket and then I drilled it out on my drill press
And I use the original sprocket as a template
Sorry I meant to say Rual king
What's the width of the live axel ?
44"live
@@trucksandjunk6190 thank you
where is part 2? 😅
Still in the works, the world 🌎 has knocked me down a little bit, but I'm about to get back up
@@trucksandjunk6190 My friend. Rest assured, everyone is in the same situation. You are living my dream, you should appreciate it and I think this motorcycle is your hope. Because the same motorcycle is my hope too.
@@trucksandjunk6190 I don't have a garage. I don't have such opportunities. I am trying to collect my En500 motorcycle, which I have under difficult conditions. Limited facilities are painful.
im having trouble finding out where the hoses from the carburetor connect onto the fuel tank any chance u can help?
There should be 2 of them. One goes to the petcock on the gas tank.It is the one that goes to the metal Barb on the carburetor on the back side. Then the other one is a vent and it goes to the black plastic barb on the front and it doesn't connect to anything because it only lets air out
Let me know if this helps you if not I'll try to make youtube short about it tomorrow
@@trucksandjunk6190 is there anywhere we can dm?
@@trucksandjunk6190 there are 2 metal barbs and 2 plastic barbs so I’m still confused
What year make and model is your bike
What was the vinyl?
It is the cricket machine vinyl that you can buy at walmart
Great vid! Gonna try similar repair, Can i use a pwr sander ?
I don't see why not as long as you go easy with it
OIL, not OLE. Lol. Great video, I truly learned a lot.
Is there any chance that anyone knows about the HID bulb and if the black part of the HID that holds it into the housing is possibly removable?
