@@ardiris2715 It's not THAT versatile. Only 6 voices, only 49 keys, only bi-timbral, only channel aftertouch. Lots of better options out there. And the motorized knobs, I think it's more of a con than a pro. It's only highlight is it has 4 oscs, which is a rare thing.
This is not a "SUPER JAM". This is an "INCREDIBLE JAM" ! I particularly love the improvised track starting at 14:45. Such a moody and mesmerizing vibe. Thanks for this moment. =)
What a amazing song in the end of the video, from 24:00 the combination between the rhodes and the Delia, the progression of it and this synthesis just transported me to the sky.
Gotta say, I like the visual aesthetics as much as the sound of this. And those motorised knobs are the type of things you stare at and nod slowly at. 😐 (
Look boss, give us want more of this. IMO this is much more interesting, revelant and entertaining than recreations or reviews, and you'r good at it too. WE WANT MORE OF THAT live improv stuff (especially when you go to LA...)
Great demo; best I've seen to date. I love that you really seemed to be enjoying playing Delia. For me that speaks louder than detailed feature examinations and preset walkthroughs. I thought initially that with the motorised pots it was just a gimmick synth but you convinced me that it is musical as well.
Man, I wish I could improvise the way you can. I'm strictly "in the box" and build things up like a sculpture, one note at a time, one drum hit at a time. It's fun and very rewarding in the end but, it time consuming.
Would of been good seeing you actively jumping between different patches and seeing the knobs spin as you lay down a new 8 bar loop on an 8 track looper, maybe you did, and maybe I was just in awe with the sounds to realise
This thing sounds great! The motorised knobs are very cool, but I still can't figure out whether they are cheaper to make than an LED ring. Wouldn't an LED ring be just as good for showing positions? It would be less cool, of course, but if it were cheaper, a lot of people would like it...
This is a hit song on the synth and drums side. Just need other add and subtractions. And great vocals. It’s a great song man. Well done. Get some lyrics it’s a hit.
14:30 it's a sound Stromae used in the track, Santé. It's like a chorus melody riff between versus. If it wasn't so lyrically based you should do a re-creation, Dr.Mix.
When you have the different pieces of equipment playing together, are you using MIDI, or how do you connect the Roland MC-505 Loop Station to the various keyboards, and the Roland TR8S?
Sublime combination of Mr, absolute master of using synthesizers 💖 This Delia reminds me of Orbital's Jupiter pads that made my hair stand on end from hearing them. I already have a unit on the list, I'm thinking about which piano I could combine it with other than a Rhodes for economic reasons, who do you think could be the perfect combination and NOT be Rhodes?
16:52 And this is where you had to break the beat further, like Bjork or Tom Yorke. This had potential. BTW make a reconstruction of something Bjork, is the instrumentation too small? ;)

Fact of the matter is, he’d make any synth sound good. If I’d made a synth I’d be sending it to the doctor !
Anyone else who thought: this jam could go on forever?
ye
This synth gives off the strongest all-around Tangerine Dream vibes yet. (:
Funny that, I was thinking of vanderson and his MC909
TD forever>>>>>>>>>>>>
It reminds me more of Aphex Twin, Orbital and The chemical brothers than TD. Mainly because TD are more associated with the PPG sound.
@@thejollyjoker187 I was thinking more about the overall versatility of this synth. (:

Those were some of the nicest live jams you've done lately. John Carpenter vibes, Assault on Precinct 13, Escape from New York etc
This machine (apparently) _is_ named after Delia Derbyshire. (BBC radiophonic workshop 1960s - Dr.Who theme music was hers, and a lot else besides)
Wow.
This is not a "SUPER JAM". This is an "INCREDIBLE JAM" !
I particularly love the improvised track starting at 14:45. Such a moody and mesmerizing vibe.

Oh how cool Doctor! Fun review. Also like the matching shirt.
14:30 It sounds like Stomae - Santé
What a amazing song in the end of the video, from 24:00 the combination between the rhodes and the Delia, the progression of it and this synthesis just transported me to the sky.
That jam at the end was real!!
Gotta say, I like the visual aesthetics as much as the sound of this. And those motorised knobs are the type of things you stare at and nod slowly at. 😐 (
15:28 The piano loop and the mixes over the loop here were completely great❤
You are incredibly good at what you do. Greetings from Norway🤩
1/2 salesman, 1/2 musician. A;; these channels are shills.
Gotta love the Buddhist prayer beads on the one hand and the Rolex on the other.
There is one one happy customer who certainly likes the red keys! ❤

You re not “we”!
@@JustLocal But he and I definitely are we and yes, in this case you re not “we”, so we're all right, right?
@@TrueMeHow Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
While this improvisation is awesome, we particularly like Claudio‘s recreations.
@@RayyMusik my personal favs are travel ones. LA series with Anthony and Fatar and Soma episodes.
- You had some serious fun on that machine. Nice jamming.
- As Itaqua mentioned below, that melody is "Stromae - Santé"
I'd honestly pay to see one of Doctor Mix's jams live lml
You make me so happy. I love your videos. So happy and joyous. They're uplifting, educational and brilliant!
Your videos are getting better by the day. Great jam!
It makes going to the doctor fun 😊
Jamming is your jam, and mine. By far my favorite type of video on your channel. Fantastic.
Dr Mix this video is a masterclass in improvisation & synth operating. I love what you do. You're very inspiring. Thank you.
Hello, I always watch your lives. I am from Brazil
I love that you jumped straight into some original music improv.
I have seen many videos and reviews om the Delia but this make me want it!! Great video!! Great jam!!

Wow….loved that mix from about 15:00 on until 19:40. Great stuff.
one of best synth demo i ever saw, also synth sounds so alive and fresh
There’s a whole black, white and red aesthetic in this video that is quite remarkable! 🎉😊
Wow...this improvisation made my day! Thanks! And this is a cool synth!
Wonderful movie! Wonderful synth! Wonderful musician! Thanks Claudio Michel Jarre🙏👍
This was a whole EP in one go.
Definitely one of your Best videos. Absolutely amazing.
Love your Unboxing videos... with the sounds from the actual unboxed gear its a amazing screentime for me - Keep it up Doctor ✌
I love that red retro keys
I’m not blown away by the sound, to be honest. But your demos are always awesome 👏🏼
That Delia syth sounded good
That jam track was bloody awesome Doc!
The first song you made on this video is great. The hit
Once again, All day long with those jams Dr Mix. Damn your good.
What a great jam!
What’s the sequencer next to the Delia? Excellent work!!
The looper right next to the Delia with the big light up buttons is a Boss RC-505 II. The drum machine a bit further is a Roland tr-8s
Great instrument, awesome demo.
I think you make ANY synth sound great 🤩👏👍👌
Are you making this up in your head, Claudio?
It's awesome, keep it up, Claudio!😊
Love that it has space to lay effects pedals on top! I just want to touch this thing!!
this is a great demonstration of this synth , what a machine, great job doc
Great review and really good instrument. Topped off of course by your playing and ad hoc compositions.
I super loved your chanel
very good concept, to be reproduced often except for the cameraman's socks 😆
And shoes 😂
Not super jam. Not incredible jam. Not super jam squared. This is super jam CUBED!!!!!
Love the sounds at 5:20❤❤
That synth lead reminds me of Tony Carey , keyboard player with Rainbow back in the 70s 80s
Amazing Jam!
Mesmerizing!
Sounds great
Dr mix крутой дядька 😎🔥
You should release an album man, So talented! ❤❤❤
Doctor! Delightful tune!
Claudio, why you don’t you a synthesiser from „nord“ ?
I super love it! Yeah ✌🏼
That went straight spacewave.
This is NINA's Brother officially

Shout Shout let it all out!
Lovely filters!
I love the audio of the Rhodes MK8 at 6:34
I would like my Moog to move the knobs by itself😂😂.. great job man!!💯👍🔝
WorldWideMuSiCk! The best!
Dr Mix’s body oscillates with the synth. His facial impressions open up with the cut off knob
I think that riff is an 50 Cent song, not sure but I remember the song itself pretty clearly. It played on Steel drums in the original as I remember
you're probably thinking of P.I.M.P
but it is not the same melody
MaybeYou should listen to Stromae - Santé, I think It is closer to the melody
This is a hit song on the synth and drums side. Just need other add and subtractions. And great vocals. It’s a great song man. Well done. Get some lyrics it’s a hit.
Wow, Nice!!!
Hi I’m from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 ❤ watching you 😊
If you're going to get a real live synth these days, this is the one to consider.
I wish my car had those motorized knobs and mechanical switch keys
The synth is beautiful but I really want to eat that EP sound! 😋🤤

The 5:53 is very state of independence ❤

Hi. What is that loop machine to your right that you recorded into? Seems super easy.
Very nice music, Would be good if you could give some advice on learning to play keyboards, for us new to them. thanks Terence
The motorised knobs are a great innovation - are Melbourne Instruments a relatively new company?
16:52 And this is where you had to break the beat further, like Bjork or Tom Yorke. This had potential. BTW make a reconstruction of something Bjork, is the instrumentation too small? ;)
Sounds like Virus TI. Very Good!
