  • Here I'm re-mowing a yard that I've filmed before but it grew back. Seems like these yards have to be re-mowed every year. lol. For those wanting to know, it was 11 months since I was there last. It's just the way they do it. Makes for a good video. And at epic feature length, it makes the perfect dinnertime entertainment. Relax and watch me mow. :)

    It never ceases to amaze me how well a fresh set of blades cuts so nicely on the first pass.

      The blades don’t even have to be new, they can simply be sharpened

      @@jayasmrmore3687 Yes, but they could have been freshly sharpened. Most LS people keep several sets of blades....some freshly sharpened and ready to go on as needed.

    I just ordered a grass catcher for my Skagg freedom Z. Because I can't get to the back 40 as often as needed. And my Front yard needs a bag lately. With all the rain we've been getting I would have to mow every two days, if I didn't want thick grass clippings in my yard. I paid a pretty price to have a nice front yard with no clippings. I think I am now legally a lawn care nut.

    Massive property. For the entire yard, If the owners would make vignettes throughout the yard with flower beds, features, fountains, a koi pond, cactus beds, outdoor decor, stone work, decking, fire pit, seated areas, etc.....so much one could add, then there would not be as much to “mow”. Can you tell, that I’d love to get ahold of this place?

    Funny story. My autoplay was on as I was watching different videos on mowers trying to figure out what's wrong with mine. Then this video came on. Best 30-minute power nap ever, thanks the the background sounds. Had my PC speakers blaring, too. Then my wife came home, and I asked her what she thought of the background noise. She asked if the neighbors were mowing. LOL. I've bookmarked this for future naps.

    I never knew that zero turn mowers can double as a brush cutter. OK, not exactly a brush cutter but as far as I've seen video on YT the more serious ones, with 20HP and more cut through 3-5 feet of grass, no problem.. No wonder they cost 8-10 000$ (the commercial zero turn mowers)...

    hi was wondering do you set up a payment plan for your customers so if you have to do a re mow of their tall grass or do you collect when you are done with each mowing or landscaping job you do. thanks for the mowing videos they do look great especially the ones with tall and super tall grass mowing are great . keep up the great job hope your mowing business is doing great god bless you and your family

    • @Something2LookAt
      @Something2LookAt  7 лет назад +1

      What a nice comment. :) Well, a new customer who I don't know has to pay right away. But if it's someone I know, they can just pay whenever. I just did a major cleanup (yes I filmed it) for someone I hadn't worked for in 8 years, and he can just pay whenever. I know he'll pay.

    • @Something2LookAt
      @Something2LookAt  7 лет назад +3

      Ok, thanks for looking out for me. But you gotta realize, like Ridin' Green said up there, this wasn't my first rodeo. The Cheetah is heavy duty commercial and I'm in my 27th season. I know how to run these machines without breaking them. Even in really tough situations. I've done 100's of cleanups. Notice the ground speed I'm choosing. The Cheetah will mow faster than this, but I'm choosing a nice steady pace which the Cheetah can very easily handle. I know when a bush hog is necessary and that's when I send the client to a friend who has one. Also keep in mind that most of what I do is upkeep on pristine yards. I'm only filming these cleanups because they make the best videos. It makes it look like I spend my days fighting these high grass wars but I actually have 80 nice regular yards which I mow. I have 2 more cleanups filmed. Just a heads up. You may not want to watch. If you do, keep in mind, I know exactly what I'm doing. I'm ok, don't worry.

    That piece of property could be so nice if mowed frequent and treated some, but you wouldn't have some tall grass videos if it were

      It amazes me some of the nice houses and pieces of property that the owners just let overgrow and look terrible

    It's not how fast you mow its how well you mow fast

    I'm just wondering... don't take this wrong but you do have different settings on the height you can mow. So my question is why don't you use your settings to mow at different stages. (ie) tall grass mow at the highest setting and then regress as you go. I mean... use your dang equipment for what it was intended to do. But that would require thought and things.

      You have this way of starting out nice, then gradually becoming insulting.

    Looks like a vacant rental property.
