Yours is the first channel this 70 year old Granny followed. Watching you mow through that jungle taller than your head was fascinating, horrifying, and mesmerizing. I was addicted forever! Thanks for broadening my horizons and for persevering through the jungles. You're an inspiration.
the people who dislike this video are just haters the people that talk mess about your equipment hate something about themselves so much they reflect it on you. Thanks for showing what determination and effort will build keep up the good work and stay safe in the heat.
This, ladies and gentlemen, is not just someone mowing grass. He is a professional. He mows (as much as possible) counter clockwise, with the ejection chute to the side he has already cut. Why cut 8 inches of grass when you can cut "just" 4. Reduce a 4 hour job to 2 1/2 hours. Reduce overheating and wear and tear on your mower. He won't be nearly as tired after 2 1/2 hours as he would have if the job had taken 4 hours. You have just watched a Master Craftsman.
Giving purpose to my life ....Well, it does make me feel sleepy watching the mowing...and if I have the volume low that helps too, so yeah since I have trouble getting enough sleep it's a good thing for my life lol
.... I didn't know I had mowing blood in my vains until I started watching these videos, totally relaxing... Now I see why I own three weedwsckers even though I am unable to find spendles for my craftsman.
Marathon Watching 8/29/21 This will be watched in spurts perhaps ! Very relaxing... thanks Brad aka Copper Creek! This is your 200th video on this channel ! Congratulations 🎊
After seeing some videos I felt more confident in mowing super tall grass, I tell ya it took couple passes to get desired level I wanted to cut it for the customer haha! Some of it was over 4 feet tall great stuff keep it up.
I’ve found on lawns like this first one in the video when you finish mowing raise the deck up one notch and run another pass on it.it spreads the clippings out evenly and doesn’t look too awfully bad.it’s certainly not the solution that mulching, bagging or raking would be but spreading those clipping gives it a consistent appearance, covers over the thin spots and helps the clippings dry out better because they aren’t piled up
You do such good work; wish you were closer to me, I'd hire you for all my yard needs, one lawn service I hired ( Mounts Lawn Service)tore a sheet of metal off my pole barn and mowed down a 3 ft azalea bush, and the yard was not at all overgrown.... last mowing was 8 days prior. That's the kind of people that do yard work in my area. Maybe there are better ones but I have not found any yet. I usually do all my yard work myself, except for those times I have to work 7 days a week at my job, then I will sometimes hire my yard mowed. Again, you do good work and are respectful to the property. Through watching your videos I am learning about weed wackers and how to use and other equipment that I see you use. I'm retired now so all my yard work will be done by me.
I’m impressed with the job that it’s doing on the first pass. I was expecting a lot more scragglers to be standing. I must say that it makes a pretty clean cut.
58:55 Bless you! Also will you consider making a vlog one day about how you got into the business, your first jobs, how was your relations with the customers, what gear did you use, etc?

I have the big dog alpha 52 now and love it!!! 2.5 acres in a couple hours after work vs my craftsman 56 taking me 3 evenings after work!! Lower hp and width and cuts amazing!!!!

I have. Replaced two spindles. On Gravely, they do not give them away. The first one was on my learning curve, the second was pure carelessness. I hope you scoured that jungle before you started, blades and spindles are not cheap.
I didn't look very hard. It would have probably taken 30 minutes to search the whole property, plus I was way too afraid of creatures in that mess to go trekking through it.

What a treat! Congrats on the 1,000,000! So today I tried out my new straight-shaft trimmer for the first time - it was running with .095 twisted line - and I figured I'd put it through a little stress test. Bear in mind that I'm used to a 20 year old household trimmer with .080 line. I found myself a 3-foot tall messy clump of overgrown brush, grass and weeds...Fired up the trimmer, and let it rip. The next thing I knew, it was raining grass clippings and sliced/diced pieces of quarter-inch green stems. The mess erupted in my face. It was like someone opened up the chute of a Scag mower and pointed it at me. A garden slug landed on my shirt and stared at me with googly eyes - pretty sure we were both just wondering - what the heck just happened?! I'd never before seen a skinny plastic cord eat up that much greenery like a brush hog - at least not in person. I"m never going back!
I laughed entirely too much while reading this. Congrats yourself on the upgrade! You life will be better in every way now! Or maybe just when string trimming, but still! :)
Plastic cord at speed does an amazing amount of damage for sure.the first time I ever ran my dr trimmer I was amazed by how it tears up the tall grass, light brush and weeds.my echo pas 230 works real good but that dr trimmer is a little beast
You think that's something get yourself a DR Trimmer. It will cut some big stuff, I run a .175 blue twisted line on mine. It's just amazing how it will just cut through stuff.

@@CopperCreekCuts it does. I learned how to weed eat from your videos. Bought a weed eater at lowes. I even cut out some tree limbs and carried them off. Next spring I'm going to plant some things in the flower beds. ;)
