An interesting fact: The city of Sarov is one of the hardest Russian cities to get into - because of nuclear research center & nuclear bombs factories located in the city. The border of the city is guarded more seriously than some of the international borders. It's really hard for a regular Russian citizen to get there, and if you're a foreigner... Nearly impossible.
So, I think if you'll decide to visit the holy places, go to Diveevo monastery which is nearby and is one of the most important holy places in Russia.
