Nice place, a little of everything, I dig the "Star Wars" & "Primal Rage" machines especially! We have a Downtown Sacramento "Coin Ops" very similar with Beer, drinks & food, a bit pricey but fun overall aside from the poor parking & homeless issue present there.
This Barcade has a great mix of everything, which is what impressed me the most. I checked the site of the Coin Ops arcade and they have a really nice game lineup. I like how the menu is in the form of an arcade operations manual. Take care my friend.
Bonjour ! Gauntlet 2, Strider, Ghouls n Ghosts, Operation Wolf and all great classics arcade games ! What beautiful memories of childhood for me ! Merci beaucoup NeoTurboManiac ! ;)
Oh man. You're making me hungry Neo. I actually had a burger there when I was up there. I had it medium-rare with cheddar cheese and mushrooms. Now I have to go back up there. 8^) Anthony..
Looks like a fun selection of games! The only location I have been to was in Philly. I have been to a fair amount of bars with arcades but this chain seems to do it right! Have fun and happy Gaming! Thanks for sharing this vid!
You're welcome Aaron. I was very impressed with the selection. The Barcade chain really knows how to do this theme well. I have to get back to the Philly location soon. I went once back in 2012.
I love watching your Barcade Tours. Ah mate, as soon as I saw the X-Men 6 player machine when you walked in, the memories came flooding back. I remember playing it in an arcade near the college I attended in the early 90s. 6 of us from my class actually finished the game, I think we actually spent all of our beer money though on the play-through haha. Some really great arcade machines in that Barcade, great work, as always :)
Thanks mate. Thanks for sharing your arcade memories. It's much more enjoyable to play multi-player titles with friends side by side. My local Barcade in Brooklyn, NY had a family day, where kids were allowed in and my nephews, ages 10 and 4, got to play a lot of the old school classics and they had loads of fun.
@@NeoTurboManiac78 That's interesting, so unless they have a family day, kids are not allowed to enter? My two boys would go mad at that policy lol That's great that you got to enjoy the old school classic games with your young nephews. Although my boys prefer the PS4 and Switch games, they do love playing the old retro arcade games in short bursts. I look forward to the next Barcade Tour video mate :)
Definitely feeling the Taito love in their selection. This is helpful because I just booked my first upper New England states tour in July and can add this to my list. I bet you can work that Mappy high score that's on the board.
You better visit this place on your trip. Sadly, I have not played Mappy in a while, so I was a bit rusty. I can always go back and review my old gameplay video to brush up. :-D
How dare you come to a town where I just went hiking last week!!!??? and not invite me! ;) just joking. I went the next town over too to a craft beer bar restaurant after that. Will have to check this place out. I still need to make it to the last real arcade place in Vermont I think.
Dang it, my bad -P It was a last second decision for me go there. I wanted to get away from the city for a day and I figure to visit this Barcade, since I have not been there before. Definitely check this one out. You will enjoy it.
Whoo!!! X-Men, yes!! Pac-Man BR is fun too! Oh the time and money I've dropped into Golden Axe in...a laundromat. lol There is a really nice variety at this barcade; I really like that!
Oh hell yeah, this is one hell of a lineup and setup. Plenty of multi-player action there and they take in lots of tokens. You definitely would love it here.
The Sega Genesis/Sega CD could do the Spiderman Arcade with less color. The Sega Genesis technically could do the entire game using the. They would have to brute force the scalling and it wouldn't be as good as the arcade but it's very possible. There are more than a few games with scaling on the stock Genesis. Again, the colors would be more muted but it could be done. Remember the Avengers game for the Genesis, same thing; However, if you want it done right on a stock Genesis it could have been done with the SVP chip. Further, Spiderman the Arcade would have been great on the 32X. The Sega Saturn and Dreamcast could have easily done this game justice. I believe the Saturn without the extra RAM cart could do it full out flawlessly. Thank you for this awesome video. I grew up during the reign of the arcade. My fiancee and I are building a home arcade complete with full sized coin-op cabinets. We have 5 cabs right now and two of them are 4-Slot MVS cabs. We also have my old AES with a quite a few games in our collection. We have a room dedicated to retro gaming as well. We also have two of every console including the enhanced models connected to two 4K UHD screens in our master bedroom.
Thanks. I loved arcade gaming ftom the 80's and 90's. Nothing beats it. Spider-Man The Video Game was graphically advanced for its time. They would have to make too many sacrifices to get it done for the Genesis and Sega CD. On the other hand, I agree that the Saturn could retain many of the features, except for 4-player gameplay. The Dreamcast could pull it off without a hitch. That's a pretty cool set up you have there. I used to own a Dig Dug cocktail cabinet, but I sold it when I moved a couple of years ago.
@@NeoTurboManiac78 First and foremost, thank you for the excellent response! I am a lifelong gamer that started in 1985 with the Nes. I was an arcade junky growing up and I have to admit, I have never played or even witnessed that Spiderman Arcade cab. Which is strange as I grew up and always lived in big cities. Hell, my childhood home had no fewer than 5 arcades and every 7-11 had coin-op machines as well. Basically, the first time I have ever heard about the Spiderman game was today. From what I saw (not very much) it looked like The Avengers Arcade game. They had an excellent port on the Genesis...I want to say '91 or '92. I'm pretty sure I am almost positive I had my Sega CD back then and the Snes. I don't think I had the 3DO yet and definitely not my Jaguar. I chased a good console port of Doom for years. I finally built my first PC for Doom in mid '94 (486DX2). At any rate, awesome response and now I have a new cab to check out. Perhaps I will get one for our home arcade as ot looked really sweet. I really want a Simpsons cab but my God man, they are through the roof expensive. I am now a subscriber to your amazing channel.
@@Sinn0100 You are very welcome and thanks for subscribing and sharing your video game memories. Hopefully, you land that Spider-Man cabinet. A lot of fun brawlers during that era never made it to home consoles.
2:46 I hope they used them from damaged marquees and not perfectly good ones. 11:42 Black Cat. 12:19 I love seeing Chun-Li & Cammy in action... 13:49 I've done a playthrough on Friday The 13th myself. 15:56 You need to get an action camera that has the head-strap or chest-harness so you can record while playing. 17:14 Do you have a drivers license though?
They salvaged it from beat up cabinets. Right after I recorded, I remembered her name. Friday the 13th is a fun game. I've beaten it countless times. I would like to get a camera like that. I could do more gameplay videos, instead of lugging my tripod around, which is annoying. I have a license, but living in NYC, you don't need a car and New Yorkers are terrible drivers.
@@NeoTurboManiac78 That's good to know they didn't destroy perfectly good arcade cabinets. Yeah, I do work in NYC occasionally. I do know its hard to find a parking spot, sometimes you have to have a guy stay in the truck and just circle the block when another car comes by.

Wow this place is awesome very cool
Wish we had more bars like this, the memories of playing some of those games, thanks for sharing😄👍👍👍
This is a cool spot. Great games, great layout, and the burgers and fires I had was tasty.
That's a fantastic line up of games, the best one I've seen yet. Ghouls N Ghosts, Spiderman, Golden Axe being the highlights for me.
Thanks mate! I was surprised to see the Spider-Man game. It had not seen it in about 27-28 years. It was great to play it again.
