There is so much dynamic energy in your songs. I have now loked and listened to so many jewish singers, very intelligent music . God bless the jews and give you Peace. I stand for Israel.
I brought this to my Hebrew students and we have decided to make it a goal by Chanuka to learn all the words and sing them in time. Kol HaKavod! It was lovely to see Yerushalayim again.
WOW.. I never heard of him before. But I just love his music, his energy and how he 'Opens the Tent to all Jews' and all People.. His music and his view makes him to me a modem 'Baal Shem Tov'..
Lipa - you appeared so happy and at home in this truly inspiring video. I sincerely recommend that you leave behind all the krum askonim who have placed you in cherem and come live in Artzeinu Hakedoysha where you will be warmly received. Gmar chasima tova.
The lyrics-- mean: “East, west, up, down, south, north... gather our dispersed (nation) from the four corners of the earth.” He's saying we are ONE people.
AHH!!! I love this song. After Lipa came to Camp Mesorah and taught us this dance, we didn't stop dancing. For the last week of camp, the counselors would get up and dance to this song when they heard it playing on the speakers during meals. This video soo cool!! The kids dancing were awesome! And I have to say that this song is BRILLIANT! Great job!!!
Easily the biggest talent in jewish music, and the only feeble hope toward it's forward march towards quality and originality, is Lipa Schmeltzer. Great job, Lipa. You make a fellow jewish musician proud.
This is a very nice song, Yerushalaim looks so beautiful! I want to go back again B''H.
Lipa, you are like wine, you keep getting better with your age, please keep up the good work you do, whether its Chesed/helping people/bring simcha into everyone's soul/being a Ruv/music/family life/personal life,
all i hear in my head during the day is "lamalah, lemata!" over and over ;P Great work lipa!! I have to be honest, i never really liked him until this song! B'hatzlacha and shana tovah, Lipa!!!!
Lipa, we wish you would translate this beautiful song for us. Tada rabah achi. I hope maybe we can dance to this one at our Hebrew dace class at Jerusalem of Gold here in Loveland, Colorado. Almost every year our Israeli Celebration Dancers come to dance in Israel. In 2013, they went for Jerusalem Day. Shabbat Shalom!!
i always loved this song i never knew the translation until now.. and now i under stand why i love the song.. QAM ISRAEL!! ARISE SLEEPING EXILES AND MAKE ALIYAAH

Who ever you are, do you know R' Lipa from close up? well i do, and he is one amazing person, he is there to do Chesed anytime, and when you are jealous at someone you don't have to mock him, just get close to him and benefit from him,

if you think of it. in this situation, its not about the music, its about the pride and brotherhood of the jewsihs people and the jewish soldiers, think of it like that. I get what you mean about the music part though.
I still don't get how the four points of the compass can confuse you whilst using a GPS... It's like saying you can't drive a car because you can't find the pedals.. :-P But nice song.. What is it about?
