My grandfather was also jewish. I am second generation bastard children of his adultery. My grandmother worked for him as a housekeeper. My father never knew him and grew up on the streets of Chicago during the days of Al Capon. I began my return back to Torah as a young man not knowing my grandfather was a wealthy jewish businessman in Chicago that was in his 60's, married but childless. Makes me wonder where my inheritance is?
I'm a Messianic Jew but my great grandfather 4 times removed on my father's side born in 1856 was originally an orthodox Jew but the first of his family to start thinking Yeshua is the Meshiach this was long before Messianic Judaism was a thing simply referring to themselves as Jews.

i listened to this song during my dark times, here and there sometimes. The song is very inspiring, brave, strong and powerful. I remember at the time way back, i never thought there was any hope, and listening to this was even bittersweet in a way.
But now i'm shaking my fists along with Benny at the torment and torture with this song. There WAS hope after all. Benny, the powerful warrior that he is, was right.

+Esther Hecker I do not know the songs by name but just cruisning around YT listening. The chord changes and rhythms are addictive. I found one of a Hasidic fiddler playing at a wedding that would give Charlie Daniels a run for the money. Several A Capella groups like the Fountainheads as well. The Yeshiva Boy's chir is great as well.

I remember when this song just came out, back then I was 6. After a while I stopt liking it because it was over played. Yet now that I listen it again I finally understand the beauty of this song.
