Let's not overlook the fact that almost ALL these highlights were versus AllStars/HOF players. Kidd, Stockton, Isaiah, etc.... Terrific.
Also notice how he only drives to the right when doing his "killer crossover" same bag one trick money should be easy to handle. He's never going left ever
...featuring Kenny Smith...I bet he went HOOME after that one..
@@albertmudakuvaka2176he grounded the jet
@@Todd56they get crossed because he sells going left. He’s an NBA 5x all star point guard, of course he can got left. Another reason is his explosiveness with the move. Meanwhile you’ve never sniffed anything close to the league 🤣😂🤣
@@Todd56Jaylen Brown can only drive right. How many ppg does he average again?
Tim revolutionized the cross over... that move was so smooth and sick, every kid on every block was imitating it... if Tim was playing in this era, he'll have a weekly segment of highlights...

Facts
Tim Hardaway's UTEP 2 Step was the best crossover ever in the NBA. A real crossover too, none of that fake carrying over stuff.
ok boomer
Kyrie better handles
@@carlramos9445 lol boomer? Haha 😂 this guy
Facts!
You haven't watched that many NBA games
Tim had def one of the cleanest crossovers ever💯
Honestly look at this video again. You notice he always goes to the right because he's trying to get to his dominant hand for the layup. I can't see why defenders just didn't take that right drive lane away from him and force him to his left.
@@pound4pound380mind games. You know its coming but when? You only watch highlights thats why you can’t figure out why he is always successful in Crossing over then drive to the right.
He is the best there is the best was and the best ever will be
@@dasher920his crossover is top tier fs. But AI, kyrie, and Jamal Crawford all got a deadlier crossover.
@@JermaineZJ all those people you mentioned needed the gather step to do their crossovers… Tim Hardaway did it without the gather step
Every single time, those people that you mention try to do a crossover in the 90s they’d be called for traveling
Purest crossover in the game ever!!!
Isaiah Thomas
Fucking sick.. it has a simple setup yet it still shifts defenders😱
Its all about timing.. and he explodes
Complexity in the moves don't make them better. Purposeful dribbles. His speed, his set up and misdirection don't need an extra counter. Why a guy like Kyrie is celebrated is because he takes these simple moves and he chains them together to create counters on counters on counters to get to his destination.
Tim Hardaway’s handles are so underrated
His killer cross-over still can kill today's NBA player's ankles.
Nah
@@odesreis6712 listen little kid, his crossover overrides human reaction time, it worked then, it would work today, and it would work 100 years into the future.
@@cristophermaldonado9103"listen little kid" 😂
The Miami Heat in the 90's, led by Tim Hardaway and Alonzo Mourning, was a very strong and attractive team.
Hardaway has a strong image of a 'killer crossover', but he was also a great 3-point shooter and clutch shooter.
But fucking bull always in our way 97 season was a heart breaker yr but one of the best conference finals i have ever watched
@@richardarroyo5136 That series was a joy to watch. And that team had so much potential..one of the few if not the onlay Miami team i really liked (since obviously a Bulls fan;-))..
@@richardarroyo5136 And Ward doing that damn backflip next to PJ
I will never forget that knot on Pippen's head. Quite gruesome....
facts
The Crazy part is, that Tim could also shoot. Good memories
Tim Hardaway: Chicago kid with a DEADLY crossover 💯
Tim is the only one who did NOT carry the ball with his cross over!!
His crossover is MUCH HARDER to do than it looks.
The reason is that to get the defender to bite, you have to get really deep with your knees on the first juke, and when you do that, it’s actually really hard to shift your whole body back faster than your defender can recover. Iverson’s crossover is actually easier to pull off, since you never really fully commit your whole lower body to the first juke. Tim Hardaway was really gifted to have his crossover. It’s actually closer to a HOF running back juke (like Barry Sanders) than anything we’ve seen in the NBA.
That signature 1, 2 step crossover was smooth 👌
Tim is such a legend.
No, he's not.
@@megacurlerer bored troll
Always had nothin but love for Hardaway. Dude was deadly on the court.
The best pure crossover in league history.
My fav crossovers player ever...soo smooth. used to love play with him in the late 90's, early 2000's nba live games!
Toughest knees in the game. Learning this as a kid that first step became brutal over time if you already going in. Classic crossover
Jab step and hesitation step aswell.. timing and explosiveness
Tim Hardaway is too underrated like fr
That knee injury slowed him down. He was nice after but it slowed him down
You know it's coming, you know where he's going, but you just couldn't stop him.
Tim Bug had THE crossover of the 90s.... textbook execution
How tf did the announcers act like they didn't just see Avery Johnson get sent to the morgue?! 😆😆
Avery got beat twice In the video. Once with the rockets and the other with the spurs
Hardaway highlights always deliver. The type of move you can practice and actively use in a game. His layup momentum is ahead of its time, too.
To this day no one has been able to replicate his cross over. You would assumed his son would. Such a simple looking move. No wonder they called it the killer crossover.
Watch lamelo break jrue the other day after that he does a crossover petty similar
One of my favorite Legends to play the game that crossover is one of the most entertaining things to watch it was deadly
Tim Hardaway underrated crossover all-time
HOFr in my book Greatest crossover ever No carrying barely any set up Just bop bop to the rim 😎
😂 bop bop
It's about time y'all put Tim Hardaway in the HOF.
What makes it so tough is the high dribble to the short dribble defenders get used to the rhythm of the dribble then it cuts in half and catches them. It was really on a different level than anything before him.
Definitely will not be as effective in modern defensive schemes, but such a clean move. He always goes right and still catches them off guard.
He moves always in the right way
100% the man that inspired my crossover back in the day… loved using it as spacer for my J’s …!!!
All the "crossover" moves today involve carrying, palm under the ball. Hardaway's crossover was pure.
Tim was cold man. Miss that era
That explains why Kenny 'The Jet' Smith walks like his legs were screwed on backwards 🤣🤣🤣
Simple but flawless cross over move😎 like deron Williams...in 2000's era
“I can’t fly like Michael, but I can fly down the court”
- Tim Hardaway
Growing up Timmy was my guy. His crossover is so tight.
That last killer crossover 😮 Olajuwon couldn’t block that lay up sheesh Timmy was good!
Didn't know he caught Zeke, that was a cool passing if the torch moment. Tim Bug was awesome on Miami too, hard as nails
That crossover on Stockton was so fast! 😀 I've seen it on another video from the front view, but not the back. Man he left him in the dust... 😄
Pause
He is a legend
He has the best crossover. AI's was more 'easier' to do but Tim's only probably Kemba Walker was able to do it consistently.
Against elite defenders too
King of Crossover 🏀👌👑
Tim Crossover was my favorite of any player...his was short and compact but quick
Crossing All-stars up without carrying. Amazing!
I’m glad we’re bringing back our Miami Classics jersey this season
That mustache has a killer crossover
GREATEST CROSSOVER EVER!!!!
Masterpieces in simplicity
Hardaway got best good well played highlights moves w teammates basketball life on the go🏀❤
That between the leg first step cross I still use to this day never fails
man this was dope to wake up to as a heat fan ngl
great player. underrated
Crossover sick
The originator. Silky smooth!
The true crossover without carrying the ball like Iverson
Preeeeeeeeach!
У этого парня я учился делать кроссоверы в 97 году! Спасибо тебе!
I shocked you could only find 2 mins of Tim Hardaway crossovers
Crossovered the best
He is legend
The Run TMC days is what made me a Warriors fan. DubNation!!!
The King of the Crossover
Simple yet so effective.
Beautiful
DAMM!! Blew Zeke outta his sneaks!! Isiah Thomas got shook!!
What made him so deadly with that? His cross is so unique
The insane quickness
DAMM!! He made stockton's ankles turn into jazz hands!!
You got people like Tim being underrated because MJ took all the awards. Respect the 90s era. Respect to the goat.
Van exel, kidd, nash, kevin johnson, strickland, shamgod, kenny anderson, iverson and marbury too
Such move such speed
Underrated AF
Thats probably the quickest shift from side to side of anyone ever, maybe Kyrie
That's a bad man, strong handles
This crossover the best single move in history. Many tried but nobody does it with his speed, even Kyrie. Overall ball handling you'd have to put Kyrie and AI above him. Maybe Zeke.
Got Kenny with the hesi and crossover. 😆 They need to talk about this on Inside.
I never knew tim revolutionized that 2 step cross over everyone is using today legend
And still nobody can match his quickness.
Tim is a Bad Man he got the Killer Cross.
I used to practice this in my garage as a kid in the early 90s
I might not ever be able to see why this crossover was so effective 😂 but then again deron willams crossover worked aswell.
the REAL crossover. no palming.
The 🐐
1st play was vintage Bad Boy Piston/90s defense
How on earth did Tim Hardaway survive such a violent foul by Bill Laimbeer. There’s no way todays players could score on that physical defense.
Exactly why MJ is better than LeMickey
.
..
Run TMC! 🔥
Bruh lay up package was DOODOO
Awesome
DAMM hardaway SHOOK AVERY like it was the color purple movie!!
Once the killer crossover became his signature move, defenders knew it was coming and still couldn't do anything about it.
*Hell yeah!*
Dude was an ANKLE breaker
Deadliest crossover ever
As a Mavs fan its actually so bizarre seeing this and then watching his son look like he’s never dribbled a ball before anytime he tries to do anything but chuck threes
Came here to see what moves I can steal for my men’s league 😂
it's understandable for him to call crossovers like AI's carrying
anyway him crossing up stockton at 0:39 is so sick
And yet, all I remembered was, "BAD SHOT SELECTION." And that really held him back...
Good grief. I think Avery needed cruches after that one 😦
Nasty
Warriors HadTim Hardaway ,Chris Webber and Latrell Sprewell ,what a team was there.
I am wearing his n°10 for our championship because i cross like you
if only tim hardaway jr played like this
