    Let's not overlook the fact that almost ALL these highlights were versus AllStars/HOF players. Kidd, Stockton, Isaiah, etc.... Terrific.

      ⁠@@Todd56they get crossed because he sells going left. He’s an NBA 5x all star point guard, of course he can got left. Another reason is his explosiveness with the move. Meanwhile you’ve never sniffed anything close to the league 🤣😂🤣

    Tim revolutionized the cross over... that move was so smooth and sick, every kid on every block was imitating it... if Tim was playing in this era, he'll have a weekly segment of highlights...

    Tim Hardaway's UTEP 2 Step was the best crossover ever in the NBA. A real crossover too, none of that fake carrying over stuff.

      Honestly look at this video again. You notice he always goes to the right because he's trying to get to his dominant hand for the layup. I can't see why defenders just didn't take that right drive lane away from him and force him to his left.

      @@JermaineZJ all those people you mentioned needed the gather step to do their crossovers… Tim Hardaway did it without the gather step
      Every single time, those people that you mention try to do a crossover in the 90s they’d be called for traveling

      Complexity in the moves don't make them better. Purposeful dribbles. His speed, his set up and misdirection don't need an extra counter. Why a guy like Kyrie is celebrated is because he takes these simple moves and he chains them together to create counters on counters on counters to get to his destination.

    The Miami Heat in the 90's, led by Tim Hardaway and Alonzo Mourning, was a very strong and attractive team.
    Hardaway has a strong image of a 'killer crossover', but he was also a great 3-point shooter and clutch shooter.

    His crossover is MUCH HARDER to do than it looks.
    The reason is that to get the defender to bite, you have to get really deep with your knees on the first juke, and when you do that, it’s actually really hard to shift your whole body back faster than your defender can recover. Iverson’s crossover is actually easier to pull off, since you never really fully commit your whole lower body to the first juke. Tim Hardaway was really gifted to have his crossover. It’s actually closer to a HOF running back juke (like Barry Sanders) than anything we’ve seen in the NBA.

    Hardaway highlights always deliver. The type of move you can practice and actively use in a game. His layup momentum is ahead of its time, too.

    To this day no one has been able to replicate his cross over. You would assumed his son would. Such a simple looking move. No wonder they called it the killer crossover.

    What makes it so tough is the high dribble to the short dribble defenders get used to the rhythm of the dribble then it cuts in half and catches them. It was really on a different level than anything before him.

    Definitely will not be as effective in modern defensive schemes, but such a clean move. He always goes right and still catches them off guard.

    This crossover the best single move in history. Many tried but nobody does it with his speed, even Kyrie. Overall ball handling you'd have to put Kyrie and AI above him. Maybe Zeke.
