Jonathan deserves an "Astro ticket" to get said training, the "full Monty", so he too can go up to ISS ... share this vid, first hand, w/ Astros/Cosmos onboard. Yeah! You could even film yourself in here and use a blue chroma key to wipe out the water and replace it with the blackness of space.
      Basically what im saying is, you could 100 percent film people here in the water in astronaut suits and replace tue water with cgi outspace and everyone at home would believe your in space.
      In fact you could say that it would be cheaper and easier to FAKE the international space station and just film evwrything here and tell people your in space.
      No one will know the difference, and the few who question it will be mocked and ridiculed as conspiracy theorists.
      Thumbs up for everyone on this comment thread!

    What I think is funny is that the photographers are all kicking and moving in the pool, while the astronauts are completely limp as if they’re floating in space. Seems like training in this pool is one big acting class, like they’re just training the astronauts on how to pretend/give off the impression that they’re in space.

    • @BlueWorldTV

    • @KookeePenguins
      @KookeePenguins 3 года назад +4

      So the CGI fuel and the CGI oxygen are used to make CGI thrust, that’s the CGI heat coming out the bottom of the CGI ship
      This CGI thrust is used to move the CGI rocket into CGI space where the CGI rocket then drops a CGI stage to make it CGI lighter so it CGI travels CGI faster.
      Then once the CGI connects CGI CGI CGI the CGI CGI CGI CGI frogs CGI CGI CGI CGI.

    To all the flat earthers who are saying "See? This is where they film their fake missions.", consider the following:
    1. If this was a big secret, then why the hell has this video gotten over 4.6 million views in 9 years on a public platform? If this was meant to be a secret, it would not be on this platform for this long.
    2. Look at how the water in the pool gives the background to a blue-ish tint and how the lighting is not nearly as bright as in space.
    3. Look at the bottom of the underwater replica of the ISS. The metal beam supports holding the replica into place should be visible on any spacewalk video that shows the ISS from multiple angles. There's none.
    4. Due to the fact that when you're underwater, you're travelling through a medium, the water friction will always slow you down. But in space, you're in a vacuum, therefore there is no medium to slow you down. And in any spacewalk videos, you never see any tools or tubes or other things slowing down, directly proving that they couldn't possibly have been filmed underwater.

    Hi I'm Jonathan Bird and welcome to my world brings that little Joyce smile on my face. Jonathan Bird videos are always very informative and I just love this man. You are as amazing as NASA designed that amazing gaint deep swimming pool for training astronaut to do space walking..a brilliant video I've ever seen.

    That's awesome, When I always go to the beach or pool, I'd always act like an astronaut, floating shovels, floating buckets, "That's So Cool"

    Awesome video!!! I’ve always been fascinated with the NBL. I was actually offered to apply for a diver job there back in 2002. It was operated by Johnson Engineering Corp. I was still on active duty at the time and living in San Diego so, sadly, I was not in a position to. Imagine going to career day and telling your kid’s class that you’re a diver who trains with astronauts. Great vid, keep ‘em coming!
