I would really like to have a fence like they make at D&J Projects! The posts are concrete and you can just upgrade your panels over time! No rot as you mentioned Joe, because the panels sit on the gravel boards. I'm a fan of D&J Projects as it you couldn't tell😂
Love this Joe! As a Brit of course I'm familiar with this style, and traditional wooden post and rail is rarer here, in towns at least. But I think the point is that we can all learn from each other 🙂
@@alanoconnell9746 on your own! I’ll only lift a 4’6” on my own! Yes corners and three ways in 9’ are killer for me! But would never dream of lifting one in my own!
D&j are a great buisness and do great work I love watching their videos. They have just brought another grab lorry too there going places and such a lovely family buisness who look after their employees.
I've been a D&J subscriber for a long time. They really do some great work and not just fences. Decks, driveways and stone patios are other great projects of theirs.
D&J have amazing lifting skills, I'm too old to work like that. There are easier ways to install concrete fence. I used a crane mounted on my pickup truck to install my concrete fence. Alternatively, a mini excavator would also work where the pickup crane would not ;)
Hi Joe, I have been watching Stevie and Dave from the beginning. Being in the states, Illinois I have been trying to find a company that does gravel boards, and can’t find anything. I know there is a company that does do them as they are barriers for our highways. Do you know of a company that does do them.
The fence he was taking down was'nt feather edge, them "things" or excuse of a fence panel is called the waney lap fence 🤢 its something someone like a property developer would use for maximum effect with minimum spend. look great for maybe 6 months and blown over in 4 or 5 years if you're lucky. Cheep boards about 4mm that you can run through. D&J will know a lot more about them than me 🙂
I saw this pop up and couldn't resist supporting the boys and girls at D&J Projects
We appreciate you watching!
Ayyyyy, big up Joe Everest!!!
❤
Love watching legends at work, your success is well deserved!
I love D&J Projects. I watch all their videos. ❤

All great points, they’re really great guys!
Concrete fences actually also deteriorate over time.
Water gets into them, and the rebar expands.

Big fan of D&J... Top lads,.I would love a vlog collab with you guys IRL

Absolutely agree!
Heavy way we do fencing but the best way 👍🏼 us British build to last 😂
I’d say so!
I Sell these concrete products and have been lifting them onto the pick up almost daily for 18 years! And yes it has taken its toll on my whole body!
I appreciate you weighing in!
10ft corner posts are the worst...... they are heavy ......absolutely gut busting on your own

@@halusomusic yes .... I work alone so I have to lift them ....lol
I don't envy manual lifting. I used a crane mounted on my pickup truck to install my concrete fence.

I don’t, but I certainly wished I did! We looked into it but ended up going down the path of manufacturing chain link fabric.
The 12 inch gravel boards are around 40kg each
Dang!
The panels shown at the beginning are lattes panels and there crap ...... the panels d& j fit are feather edge panels
Good to know, I appreciate the clarification!
you could run through them lattice panels😁,,good quality feather edge panels last for years, all down to price i suppose £20 versus £35-40 6x5 panels.
lattice panels are 28 pounds each now ....feather edge are 42.....

You are right they are not feather edge. Its a lap panel that is cheap and cheerful. Close board panel is far better
@@Rigz. Anything is better than them 🤣
