For people like me who are self preparing and this is the first attempt, it feels assuring to see that other people who have cleared the prelims/ mains read the same way we do 😂. Otherwise there is always a confusion that maybe they are doing something different. I have read the spectrum just the way you mentioned. Historical underpinnings from laxmikant and other things from spectrum.

Refer to bipin chandras indias struggle for freedom. 300 pager book will be easy to understand the sequence. Then refer to spectrum.

Read it 7 times still have an accuracy of just 50 %.
Then reffered to bipin chandra (1 read)and now i am able to score around 90%. Its in sequence and is in a story format. That makes it easy to understand.
You mean bipin chandra is relatively easy???

The sequence in it makes it easy to understand events. Spectrum has issues with sequence. Bipin chandra helped me understand things easily. Only then i referred to spectrum

Biggest negative of Spectrum is the problem of linkages that is for what history is known.
Correct ... Better read ncert first then spectrum .. May be

Sir ,at this point time of time should we make notes for prelims or just do it with coaching material prelims specific content for revision ,(for example - only ias study material named udan it has just 125 pages for revision of polity)

how to read digitally in efficient way because
me and my eyes feels very low only in single hour when I read something on my tab it feels like iam not getting output like offline
I started on 1st feb and I was doing the same way.. i am amazed that I am following all these points before watching video. Still, thank you so much.
I use Snehil Tripathi's book only and I'm loving it..
