Do you need to have two expereience to sit the sqe1 or can one appear for it even if you have just completed llb, like can i sit the sqe exam and then do two year legal experience
I m qualified lawyer from Pakistan i m MPhil LLM in law i got high court license 10 years practical experience in law i want to practice as solicitor what would you suggest for me exemption or to taje exam for SQE1 and SQE2
Thanks for your question, Imran. The SRA seem unwilling to grant an application for exemption from BOTH the exams. From what you write you would not be able to successfully apply for exemption from the SQE 1 exam, but it would be open to you to apply for exemption from the SQE2 exam.
