I play something similar to this deck, i like the idea of a dragon deck that synchros becuz most of the high lvl synchros are dragonz, so u can revive stardust with REDMD if he gets run over by the opponents gorz or ab zero, which patches one of the weaknesses of stardust(low attack for a lvl 8 synchro) And u can revive the lvl 7 dragon synchros(black rose and AFD) to make any lvl 8 synchro to bypass debri dragonz flaw of being only able to make dragon synchros. Debri revive white stone then banish debri to summon REDMD, redmd revive black rose or AFD synchro with white stone into colossal fighter or thought ruler or even avenging knight parshath(AFD is a LiGHT)
However my version looks very different from what this guy is playing, hes playing trap cards and lightsworns, my version is pretty much almost identical to dragon turbo (draw spells and no traps)
This is also why i look down on the dragon deck with trap cards and dd warrior lady(the one that keegan prefers) becuz it cannot synchro, so its wasting one of the benefits that REDMD is bestowed(being able to revive dragon synchros)
I personally dont like the reckless greed version that ghostrider and hydropump plays, becuz it conflicts with gorz/TTH, forfeits one of the benefits of playing a 0 trap deck which is making your opponent’s MST/dust tornado’s become dead draws(besides hitting future fusion ofc) becuz they can now end phase hit your set reckless greed. But his version does have the most tournament success so it probably is objectively better.
yeah plague is new. plague is a mill target opens up the rest of the extra deck cuz debris and qd are so restrictive. any deck that plays ryko can mak armory arm with plague and mill the plague. drill/caisu + normal summon plague + Ryko = armory arm colossal otk out of no where. if you main call its just easier.
