Lost me when they stuck that blue plastic stool in there and painted everything gold. If it had been built outside and naturalized, it has some possibilities. This isn’t one of them.
Might be the ugliest pond I have ever seen!

Was that water the correct PH and temperature for those koi fish? Didn’t even wait for the paint, poisonous fresh cemented cold cloudy cement water to wash out or clear before tossing them fish 🐠 🐟 🎣 in.

It was looking great, but then they surprised me by filling the whole corner with water and fish. Was thinking what damage is being done to the walls of the house? Not the smartest idea.
That looks like a corner of the backyard with cemented hallow block walls

the joy of appreciating simple things in life is a blessing, if you always expect a wow effect every time you ll be miserable every time. These people put a lot of effort with the little mean they have so you can watch in the comfort of your couch. Are not paying for it. Get your ass up and do something we will how impressive it is.

The water would be dirty with cement. Fish dont like that ..it is toxic for them .. the water has to be emptied out completely at least 5 times
You can't just put koi fish in something like this.. it would damage them.. skin and gills

pond against wall, doesn't seem very waterproof, not to mention the colour of the water, fish probably dead in a day.
That wall is not going to last long and that’s no good for koi. Not deep enough, no cover from predators, no deeper cooler water to swim into. And the blue stool and white and gold? Nope. Liked the planting though!

Hmmm... you seem to now knot, concrete is like a sponge. It lets moisture pass right through it. That is why basements always have very moist air in them. But I guess sealing a swimming pool with real tiles and sealant for the grout is not a thing for you lol.
They could have already had the cement that has the waterproofing agent in there, or they mixed it in there.
I wouldn't really describe this as amazing.

Despite all the criticism, this is still giving me a lot of ideas, what I can do with cement and my old t-shirts. Especially the plastic bowls covered with cemented cloth is something I'd like to try.

عدم تدعيم الأرضية لمقاومة تسريب الماء لاحقا .
وضع كرسي بدلا من حامل اسمنتي او حجري .
وضع الأسماك الحية في بيأة اسمنتية .
عدم تثبيت القبعة بأي شيء .
هذه بداية الإنجاز وأتمنى أن أراهةلاحقا وقد صار أفضل بعد إدخال ملاحظات الجميع التي تريده أن يكون أفضل وإن ينجح .

Anyone concern for the fish, for it to survive in those water, the cement particles should be filtered out.
Very much! The cement has to be fully sealed with non-toxic paints and/or sealants. If not it leaches into the water making it toxic and also changing the ph level. It will kill the fish.

When quality just doesn't matter
it can't be easy trying to come up with a new cement project every day.... but instead of turning one after another out super fast, take your time. enjoy the process. take a week to finish it. you have some good ideas and you know how to produce something, but the finish product doesn't usually look that appealing. THERE WAS THIS ONE that turned out pretty cool, it was the pig stove.... and it isn't as if I have seen all your work, probably 5 or 6....

I have a feeling that gold paint is going to be toxic to the fish. One fish is all alone in one tank. Will it be able to escape to be with the others? And won't the water degrade the foundation of that building or wall? At the very least, they need to hide the plastic stool and the pump, and check to see how toxic the paint will be for the koi. But I suggest starting over.
As a creative person myself, I hate to criticize, but this is one of the worst results I've seen amongst DIY projects.

how does this channel have so many likes and subs lol, you could say these are interesting ideas but so many problems with it. 1 those poor fish, no liner 2 smearing mortar along the face of bricks 3 extension cord so close 4 visually unappealing. might be an ok idea for a garden away from the house but clean up the details. i think we need a follow up video to see the leaks, dead fish, mold on the walls. sniff sniff

It won't. Plus, cement is toxic to fish, so they'll be dead soon as cement is water soluble, thus leaching into the water. It also changes the waters ph levels. The other part is unless she was using the right types of paints those can be harmful too. This was a bad project all the way around. I feel bad for the fish and the long term health of her structure.

I’m kinda curious about the corner of the house/building. Was it sealed? Will water eventually seep in through the foundation causing damage to the house. Geee and where to begin about the fish 😩. Good idea for the cement structures though 🙂
