That one quip about Isabella… this movie takes place in Columbia, dru9s is kinda that country’s thing. She probly does grow it, we just didn’t get to see where since this is a Disney movie
If you think these were good, then you should look into the Turning Red reviews. But besides that I’ve never even seen Encanto. But these reviews proved why I should.
Not a fan of all the Abuela hate, this movie hit me personally because of how realistic and similar to my family it is, I am both Isabrlla and Luisa trying to be perfect and keep everything together, my siblings are all like different madrigal kids and my nanna is definitely Abuela, yeah she's passed down generational trauma but I still love her and the kids still love Abuela even tho she hurt them
I can't watch this film because of the scene where Abuela says something about having a gift means you're special, meaning that Mirabel isn't special. Too many painful memories of my older sister saying similar remarks, unlike in the film I am cutting her out of my life after many attempts to forgive and understand her. Bye sis, you really do remind me of Isabella as well
My interpretation is that Mirabel did get a gift her name means sight and and the butterflies (especially the yellow ones) are usually associated when she’s seeing stuff from a new perspective/ looking deer than others would dare/seeing a new truth etc. At the end they’re all on the front door and the individual doors are undefined. my theory is she didn’t get a door because that’s a concrete conformation of what her miracle is and would there for taint her ability to use it. The miracle giver probably knows how it went with Bruno. Also the for such a grounded but complicated miracle means the door could easily be misinterpreted. If everyone knew her ability was to see through the surface and learn what’s going on deep down inside she’d taken for granted, pushed into the role of town therapist at a young age, possibly shunned for a weak/ invasive power and became accustomed to the ill treatment like the rest. At the end they’re all on the front door and the individual doors are undefined.
fun fact: Perry the Platypus was early on considered to be a capybara before they settled on a platypus, meaning we could've had a capybara revolution in 2007
5:29 ok but actually tahts a good idea. In my opinion, they knocked it out of the park with the tangled one, I bet an Encanto one would be awesome too! Also I need something new to watch, I can’t get over Tnagled The Series
Unpopular opinion, but putting uncanonical labels on the characters (ex. Mirabel is bi, Isabella and Luisa are lesbian, Bruno has OCD, Camillo is genderfluid, Dolores has Tourette's) isn't a good thing to be doing because that isn't what the movie is about. The movie is about Colombian/Hispanic Culture, living up to unreasonable standards and intergenerational trauma. I am a gay person myself, but I don't think you should force these characters to have other issues they aren't shown to have, and then become angry with the creators when they are not canon. This destroys the whole meaning of the movie.

No, but we all know that Bruno is like Lin- Manuel Miranda’s self insert dream.
No, Lin actually said in an interview that his self-insert is the Coffee Kid
That one quip about Isabella… this movie takes place in Columbia, dru9s is kinda that country’s thing. She probly does grow it, we just didn’t get to see where since this is a Disney movie
3:43 surprises apperance by little know internet celebrity diamondbolt of RUclips fame.
fun fact: mirabel actually didnt STOP time, but slowed it by a great amount.
3:44 diamondbolt? like,,, the youtuber???
If you think these were good, then you should look into the Turning Red reviews. But besides that I’ve never even seen Encanto. But these reviews proved why I should.
Mirabel’s power is therapy
I have not watched Enchanto yet, but these reviews are just hilarious 😂🤣
I really can't wait to watch this movie with my family!
I love how she replaces the swear words with other words
luisa was my bi awakening
Encanto is my whole soul and wellbeing
I rewatched it over a million times
2:09 VIVA LA REVOLUTION
I headcanon that the rats moved in with Bruno at the end.
love the diamondbolt cameos constantly.
i love laugh love the premiere chat
THIS
Colombian*
Mirabel being bi is literally canon tho. She has a bi rainbow on her top
3:45
Wait, Diamondbolt!? What is he doing here!?
i heard a theory, that Mirabel will be the next matriarch or the family and this is why she didn't get a power.
3:44 OH SHIT, DIAMONDBOLT CAMEO.
I’m glad I’m not the only one who noticed she has the power of time stopping
This movie is so fun!
I too relate to all of the Encanto sisters simultaneously.
I’d like to suggest reading Kung Fu Panda trilogy reviews
I second this motion. Kung Fu Panda is *perfection*
I CANT GO TO ROCKET JUMP WITHOUT THEM PLAYING ENCANTO MUSIC WHHYYYYYYY
