I personally prefer the mini master grade route that RGs are going. I'd rather have stability in my kits rather than a gimmicky pre-assembled ABS-PP inner frame that's going to loosen over time
Eh, being a mini master grade isn’t exactly a bad thing. Atleast modern real grades don’t devolve into a floppy hand grenade. *Cough Cough most early real grades Cough Cough*
Considering the quality of the recent Real Grade kits, I don't think calling it a "mini Master Grade" would be a compliment anymore. I think the RG has become a better grade than the MG. I hope Bandai will upgrade the MG too because I like that sacle better.
I’m not sure if that’s a fair comparison in a way. With some of these RG designs, they are of MSs that have seen MG designs a LONG time ago (with the exception of Nu and Sazabi). Engineering in general has come a far way, but the MG still has its charm.
some people dislike RG designs, especially anime purists. but i for one welcome any additional details added on top of rather plain anime accurate designs. plus i prefer 1/144 scale, the bigger MS can give serious space issues in 1/100 scale
I LOVE this kit! I own it, I have it in basically the same pose, it just has the eyepatch and the pistol drawn, it looks awesome, it is SO worth EVERY PENNY! In answer to RG Crossbone's question: look to your P Bandai brother... he did it. Jabman, eventual P-Bandai RG Crossbone Gundam X2 in the future? Please say yes...
honestly the RG Nu's funnels are better then the ver ka seeing as they don't fall apart at the mere gust of wind same for it's bazooka mine falls off and apart if I even lightly touch it.
Fixed mine with top coat. Honestly, I love the rg nu because of it's posability. But the mg's shelf presence is just way too different, specially transformed. The rg simply can't top that off. You put them on the shelf, you have to put them in a shelf of only 1/144 kits, else they'd just disappear if put on a shelf with 1/100 kits.
Dude, your missing a part on the blunder bus. Supposed to be a small flap of the back of it. Also, I’m so glad this kit didn’t have the same issue with the thighs splitting as the MG did.
more secure joints too and no color correcting stickers (red scars aside). As much as I like my MG X3 the RG is a much better kit, ill probably get the real grade of the X3 as well whenever it happens.
I can understand your opinions on the RG Nu and Sazabi if you're comparing them to the Ver Ka MGs. I would argue however, that they should be compared to their original MGs as the Ver Ka MGs are like an off shoot. The RGs were not meant to be RG Nu Ver Ka and RG Sazabi Ver Ka. They are just RG Nu and RG Sazabi. From that standpoint they are spectacular. I also think it's like comparing apples to oranges when it comes to comparing RG to MG, they are different beasts. The Ver Kas of Nu and Sazabi are indeed masterfully done though and will be hard to top for quite some time though with regards to the MG line. Also, I watched this mainly for the "Oh, and one more thing" bit at the end. It did not disappoint :-)
I can see why you like this more than the Nu and Saz. Xbone is so tiny with all those parts so it's already amazing from that standpoint. I daresay Xbone>Saz>Nu. Also, too bad you're not getting the MGEX Unicorn. I assume you're getting the Wing Zero Ver.Ka, so I was interested to see which of those two will you give the Master Grade Kit of the Year Award.
A lot of the newer RGs are basically a mini MG these days. It kind of makes me suspicious that Bandai is using the RG line up with the intention to release an updated/new MG of the same mobile suit soon afterwards. 9:19 It's always cool to see a collection of the variants. On a related note...Are you going to get the other variants? So far, there's an RG XM-X2 Crossbone Gundam X-2 which is a P-Bandai of course. Knowing Bandai, they'll probably do the rest of the variants as a P-Bandai which include: - XM-X0 Crossbone Gundam X-0 - XM-X1 Crossbone Gundam X-1 Full Armor - XM-X1 Crossbone Gundam X-1 Kai - XM-X1 Crossbone Gundam X-1 "Patchwork" - XM-X1 Crossbone Gundam X-1 Kai Kai "Skull Heart" - XM-X2ex Crossbone Gundam X-2 Kai - XM-X3 Crossbone Gundam X-3 I believe that's all the other variants. 9:20 🤣
@xxnike629xx Nice try disguising your _ill wishes_ towards UC kits in a form of P-Bandai _wishlists_ Which isn't surprising. After all you hate UC so much that you want bad things to happen to them, whether poor sales, bad rep, whatever, which may cause by their future kits being labeled as P-Bandai I remember, you spamming on several HGUC Penelope vids more than a year ago, your prediction of a HGUC Xi Gundam being a P-Bandai And then one of the most recent, you predicted that RG Perfect Zeong will be a P-Bandai too Those are less of a prediction, but more of _ill wishes_ you're so desperate to see it happen But unfortunately, _ill wishes_ are bad, Suiton. Not only they have very low success rate, it will surely have a negative effect towards the _ill wisher_ himself. If your _ill wishes_ fail, surely you'll gonna suffer the consequences. I just hope that the consequences you'll gonna receive if your _ill wishes_ fail will be less severe.
Is it really bad that the rg line is a mini master grade? That would mean bandai's design and engineering teams are getting better at what they do which makes our passion/hobby all the better.
I've noticed a lot of times, Bandai will make an RG, and then they'll make an updated/new MG sooner or later, or the other way around if the MG version is relatively a new release. Also, given that there are a lot of variations (i.e. potential for P-Bandai), I'm sure Bandai won't skip out on that. The MGs are kind of old now so it's due for an update. Usually an MG gets an updated release roughly 10 ~ 15 years after it's initial release. MG XM-X1 Crossbone Gundam X-1 "Ver. Ka" came out in 2006 so that would make it about 14 years old. I would guess within the next 1 ~ 4 years we can see an updated release. It's also been roughly 23 years since the Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam manga ended. So in 2 more years it would make it a significant anniversary of sorts? So I'm guessing more like within 2 ~ 4 years we should see something to do with the series in terms of GunPla.
If you want to get technical about it, the main weapon is called the 'Buster Gun ' and it can combine with the 'Beam Zanber ' to form the 'Beam Zanbuster'.
i think the beam guns on the core fighter/clavicle can be pulled out to use as beam sabers, but they didnt provide the same color separation as the one on the core fighter
Still can't believe you still use stupid real touch marker for lining, get the Tamina Panel Line Accent Color for lining! And the line on the parts is too shallow you can always get a scriber to re scribe the panel line!
@@khanhduytruong7137 For someone like me who prioritizes on-screen accuracy, the RG Nu has really poor proportions. It's a cool kit, yeah, but off-putting to me compared to the more faithful HGUC.
