Those wooden bowls were made in Upper Peninsula, Michigan from 1911 to the 1950's. They are priced for a few hundred dollars on Etsy and eBay.
But do they still for that much.

Awesome haul! Wow! The huge cubbies! Looking forward to seeing you working your magic on them! I love all of the tins! The wooden ( lamp) shaped base with the brass knobs on top...I'm just guessing here but to me it looks like maybe someone just wanted to save a piece of an old boat. ...maybe an old sailboat or yacht..Other than just decor I don't know. It would be nice to find out..Someone could've just made it from parts of an old staircase..? It does make a conversation piece! You manage to find the cutest small wall and counter cubbies! In the early 1900s, the Munising Woodenware Factory pumped out those wooden bowls. Went through a few owners until it finally closed in the 1950s. I have looked for one of these bowls at garage sales in my area and haven’t come across any…summer is coming…I’ll look again.

Feed the leather with saddle soap , it works like magic to soften the leather. Cleans and conditions..youjust need a soft damp cloth.❤

OH! MY! GOSH!!!!! That Goodwill haul was just WOW!!! You make that big Laundry sign rusty like the antique sign I WILL BUY IT FASSSSST!!!!!! 😂 I would’ve snatched that bird with glass bulb thing too! It definitely would’ve been at LEAST twice the price at mine, but in my cart it would’ve gone anyway, it’s absolutely gorgeous! I am THRILLED for your vase find!!!!!
When I was a kid at home in the 70s my Mom had a lot of the bittersweet glassware.
The hurricane lamp with the bird finial is amazing but 2 pieces of bittersweet!!!! OMG. So happy for you! That was worth waiting 2 hours for and so glad you were #1 in line. You definitely can't pass them up...ever!

the huge ironstone bowl is a wash basin usually with a pitcher. I do not like those mid century vases, but a lot of the younger buyers are into the MCM stuff. I think they are garish. But if they sell for you, go for it of course.
I used to live in SW MI and LOVED Shipshee! It’s like another world. Really miss it. Love your fun finds!! ❤

I go to Shipshewana once or twice during the Summer. There are so many cool pieces at the auction, but a bit crazy in there. It is enjoyable to watch though. You found so many great items. Love your channel.

It’s really exciting to see what you n Chris find at these auctions. I’m never disappointed, I only do a lot of wishing I had that. Your swung vases were really pretty. I’m sure your excitement in finding them is still going strong. Those wooden bowls I loved . The maker of them is fairly know n they’re usually made of maple n go back to the 20tys to the 1940tys. I agree I wouldn’t touch them, leave as is. How exciting to find that cute Fenton bear. He’s precious.

They're fun to go to and bid on certain items. Our Goodwill stores are laughable!! They're priced so high that you can't resell!! 😢 Thank you for sharing and making your hauls worth watching. 😊
