@@ucarouen I have played ff7 several times. At the end of the first disc comes the death of Aerith, with this sublime theme, I remember having tears every time. It is an extraordinarily touching story.
This song always makes Me cry. It is the most beautiful song but also sad, but also triumphant… i dont think there is any other song that ive ever heard that quite captures the soul of a character quite like this does.
I found the sheet notes of this song, and I showed to my grandmother..(who has played for Chicago, and New york philharmonic orchestra ) and i asked her to play it for me it put me to tears...this song it B.E.A.UTIFUL
This song... This song is about loss. It's about grief. It's about the absence someone's death leaves in the lives of their loved ones. It's about all that, but most importantly, it's about moving forward while carrying those we lost in our hearts.
My best friend of 17 years decided one day in 2014 she just didn't want to deal with life anymore. I wasn't there to stop her.. It's been 10 years, I miss her every day. We were huge final fantasy fans, she was the Aerith to my Cloud, and there's not a moment that I don't think about her...
I remember playing FF7 as a middle school aged kid and this song brought me to tears back then. There isn't a time I've listened to it since than that it hasn't done the same thing. I have no way of expressing my love for this piece other than tears. This is truly a masterpiece in not only video game music, but music as a grand whole. The talent involved here is epic.
There are Christian themes hidden throughout the game involving her. Even her prayer for Holy is like a fulfillment of Daniel Chapter 10. The prayer of Daniel was heard by God on the FIRST day and the angel was sent with God 's response but the demonic principality behind the King of Persian resisted the angel and the answer couldn't get through until Archangel Michael assisted, enabling the prayer to be answered. This very thing happened with the Holy Materia when Aerith prayed for it before she died. Later in the game, when Cloud and company return to the City of Ancients with the Music Box key, they learn that Holy was glowing when Aerith died, but Sephiroth is holding back the answer. In the final battle with Bizarro Sephiroth, you see Holy trapped behind him. Like Michael, Cloud has to fight to allow Holy to answer Aerith's prayer. It's WILD! Christ is King!
She was my first crush…happily married now to the love of my life with two little Areith’s…but that cutscene still hits the heart still. Damn you nostalgia, you provide the happiest and saddest feelings at the same time.
Grandma passed away recently, she was the most sweetest woman anybody would ever met, this piece just reminds me of her passion for all that she loved, I started playing FF7 when she got sick and I can't help but think of her, I miss her dearly :(
This is the best, by far, version of Aeris’s Theme I’ve found on RUclips. I’ll never forget the fateful day of watching my brother play through that scene way back in the day. It made me cry then, and makes me cry now. Beautiful yet, so sad. FFVII was just game changing and on its own, head and shoulders above all other games. They sure don’t make them like they used to
If you want to know why this song inspires such deep feeling in you.. Its because this is what Goodbye sounds like. A goodbye you didn't want, but know will happen without your consent. You just hope you'll get to see them again.
I have tears in my eyes, I will never not cry to this no matter how many times I come back to it ❤ it reminds me of how beautiful music really is and how creative human beings can be. To me, music is one of the best ways to understand man-kind. Music doesn’t need language to be conveyed, understood or heard. It’s a lot like love ❤
What an amazing feeling - to be a conductor and *feel* the music surround you, knowing that you're in control of the crescendos, decrescendos, and the overall power of the music. I can only imagine how they must feel.
Actually, every choir I've worked with has followed every single little gesture I make because the way I conduct makes them want to sing for me and enjoy it too! Since I'm guessing you've probably never conducted yourself, you can't possibly understand the feeling of being one with the music as it flows through you.
By far my most favorite game of all time. What made it so incredible was the storytelling, characters who you could relate to, and the incredible music that accompanied the game. This was an amazing rendition of one of my favorite themes from FF7. Thank you so so very much for making this lifelong fan weep uncontrollably and msking me miss all the moments that i attribute to every playthrough!
I gave the sheet music to a good friend who is talented on the keys to play, and although he struggled to understand the pace of the song, I was already crying.
sephiroth was only able to be defeated because aerith died and was able to summon the lifestream to save the earth from meteor. sephiroth knows this. in the remake/rebirth sequel he is back, with all the knowledge he gathered about the events that will unfold. he even talks to us the player, he even shows us the possible future, trying to manipulate us and cloud. aerith needs to survive - and she will because the whispers are defeated. now nothing is preventing the change of the timeline anymore. zack is already alive in an alternate reality, and when realities collapse maybe we will be able to fight against a different jenova / sephiroth in the end with zack and aerith in our party. times are gonna be crazy.
It gives you a real tingle! And when they make you smile, they smile with you and they follow everything you do! It's just wonderful, I can't describe it...like you said, you're feeling the music flowing through your fingers and through your being, like you're one with the music (I'm getting cheesy, I'll stop now, lol!)
It’s crazy after 17 years and advent children towards the ending when the children are playing with cloud this song comes on and it’s so sad and peaceful
I was born in 2006, so this game isnt in my era, i still played it and its a masterpiece, i wish everyone my age and future generations would play it instead of these new multiplayer commercial games.
How have the public not got a huge smile on their face!? I wish classical groups would play more scores like this. Maybe then it wouldn't be reserved for elitist tosh and instead attract a new generation.
Should know the player must mustered the sadness of death of Aerith when battling Jenova-life also the strong women like Tifa and Yuffie crying as both lost their close friend
I havent played rebirth yet (release it to the pc already!!) but i am not ready to say goodbye to Aerith again. It killed me when i played the orginal when it first came out, so im not ready to do it again. I love her so much
Does anybody know where I can find a download of this recording? I can't seem to find this one anywhere, many renditions, but this one is defiantly my favorite and I can't find it anywhere!
Absolutely, it’s a piece of music full of grief and sadness at losing someone or something you love but also has an uplifting quality of that person or living thing returning home and finding peace.
OK, maybe I'm weird but I didn't know the context of the song...My wife and I substituted this for the traditional "Wedding March" at our wedding. My wife always fancied herself a princess, and I feel the song is so triumphant at the crescendo with the cymbals crashing. We had the bridesmaids do a slow processional during the first half of the song, bride and father appearing at the crescendo of the second half fanfare, with the finale crescendo beginning right as they reach and walk past the seated guests.
that's gotta be the best job in the world. to wave your hands around like a fairy while everyone else reads a piece of paper and pays no attention to you whatsoever. music conductor ftw.
Cant stop.crying. no joke. This is something holy. I cant explain it otherwise. The sheer emotions are making a 41 old vet cry nonstop

Not for the two phenomenon called Kitase and Nomura that decided differently. Let's fix it with multiverse so she can be still alive.

This is a sacred song. This is just as much about resurrection as any hymn in history. Very powerful and life changing music.
