Why is there this sudden urgency to fill sketch books as fast as possible or rather it seem so sketch books are for working out ideas having fun trying different styles making notes trying colour mixes and swatches in doing thumbnails in and just general sketching have fun don't feel under pressure to fill a sketchbook that's pressure doesn't help in fact it can be a negative
Hi John, I hope you're having a lovely day! I'm not urging or pressuring anyone to fill up their sketchbook. These are just 5 ideas that you can use in your sketchbook as you please. I think we're all in need of inspiration sometimes and there's nothing wrong with a few ideas to try in your sketchbook. You'd notice if you watch the video, I've never mentioned anything about filling up the sketchbook the entire video.
This video is exactly about working out ideas, trying different things and having fun!
As content creators we have to capitalise on what's trending and unfortunately if I didn't have that title, my video could potentially flop. 😊

Why would filling up your sketchbook be a goal? That's silly. Once you've filled it up you then need to go to the bother of starting a new one. The goal is to USE a sketchbook, not to fill it.

That was really cool! My favorite is plein air but the weather is not with me lately 🥲🥲🥲 you're so good with sketchbook you're an inspiration
Thank you so so much Céline! In the UK it is also difficult with Plein Air. In this video I got too cold while sketching outside so that's why I had to finish it indoors. But I think even if you start a sketch outside and get the general idea for the composition and feelings it is just as good of an exercise!
