I really love every single piece you draw.
🫶🏻
This is like Atomic Habits for artists. Thank you for sharing this helpful perspective!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for letting me know via comments 🫶🏻
I couldn't maintain my focus on drawing daily until I started doing my work in a larger format and selling it. I have tons of sketchbooks, but it wasn't the same somehow. I think the pressure helps.
How did you manage to sell them? Can’t see how to do it myself :((
@manonmersier9188 It really depends on what you like to paint but there seem to be a lot of galleries looking for original artwork these days.
Thanks for sharing! I think the social pressure of sharing drawings online definitely helped me. I don’t have time currently to focus on any larger format. But I am aspiring to produce larger paintings or drawings in the future.
Beautiful portraits!
Thanks 🫶🏻
Wow, these are so inspiring . The variety of facial features and hair .
Glad you like them! Thank you 😊
This is really insightful - thanks for sharing and inspiring.
My pleasure! Thanks for letting me know via comment 🫶🏻
Loved the sketchbook tour! Wonderful portraits! 💚💚💚
Thank you 😊
this is so freaking beautiful!
Thank you daisy 🌼
Speechless, Wow
Thanks sandy 🫶🏻
I need to try these talen sketchbooks. I love moleskin but the originals are way to overpriced to buy on a regular basis.
These are great 👍
Your drawings are stunning, you are very talented!
Thank you Kim!
You have so many lovely portraits in your sketchbooks ❤️ Thank you for the tour 😊
Drawing a bit every day to make it a habit is a very good advice.
I really like the tiny sketchbooks ❤️ To me a small page is less intimidating. I have bought one for doing the 100 heads challenge, I will probably ned 200 days instead of 10 days.
I took up drawing and watercolouring again in december after many years. It is a struggle, neighter inspiration nor skill flows easily the way it used to do. Both style, medium and myself are dirrerent now
💯 agree! There are definitely days when I don’t have the willpower or inspiration to draw. But I find that once I build it into my daily routine, it becomes a lot easier to pickup a pencil to draw. Keep going! You can do it 🫶🏻
I wish I could find pictures to learn how to draw faces like your one.
I found pretty much all of my reference photos on Pinterest
And if you can’t find them on the internet, take some of yourself! Or your family and friends. You can change the hair or something if don’t want to do self portraits, but you can learn a ton about anatomy by just looking in the mirror:)

Draw everyday for several h9urs and you will eventually
The RUclips algorithm sent me here. I completely agree with what you said about the "How to fill your sketchbook" kind of videos that are in every social media. You make art because you enjoy it, not because it's an obligation, not to fill sketchbook after sketchbook just to have content to show on social media.
Those type of videos are *so * stupid, don't fall for that. If it takes you 3 months to fill one sketchbook, it's OK, if takes you 2 years it's also OK. Remember: it's not a competition :)
Loved your work and your approach :)
Thanks for your comment Gladys! Yes I’m a true believer in drawing because you enjoy it. The process is what matters most.
I wish I could draw half as good as that!!!
You can. Anyone can learn to draw 👌
@@duos_art I just got Andrew Loomis's book, and am working on getting some decent skills.
@@sunriseboy4837 That's awesome to hear!
New subscriber here! I really enjoy your portraits; do you have any tips as far as proper proportions?
I shared some of my methods on my RUclips channel - there’s a playlist for tutorials if you are interested. Thanks for subscribing 💕
❤❤❤
I have drawings of Steinberg too ❤
Ooo thank you for telling me her name!
@@duos_art your welcome. I love this video and your sketchbooks. Thank you for sharing.
What sketchbooks are these??
it's in the description!
Yep! And I have videos reviewing them too 🫶🏻
Flipping too fast to actually see the art.
Ahh sry
