Rampage telling Henry "good fold" was a very classy move, he could have kept him rattled / tilted for the rest of the session, but decided to throw a life-line.
I like how both players played their hands. This is a spot where you can find some bluffs with a lot of Ax so calling down and check raise was on good move on Rampage and Henry's fold is pretty impressive.
This is why people respect Rampage and Mariano, the aren’t about extracting every last cent in a private high stakes game, they keep it casual in spirit.
Great fold! I think Henry is a very good player, and I watch a lot of HCL, but does he ever win on the show? Is he like Handz, super talented, but just a lot of coolers?
I think best action w/AA is just shove in turn. Because in this pool people less bluff in dry board with backdoor such as 56cc. And Rampage unblock trips, so just fastplay & get paid off by 4x
If Rampage only knew Henry had a 4, he would've re-raised on the flop and stacked him. But calling him down was a smart play in case Henry was bluffing him. When you flopped the nut full-house, all you can do is check and hope your opponent catches a hand. I was very impressed with Henry's fold here, especially since Rampage is known to bluff a lot.
Something to note is that the ace of clubs is already on the board. So they reduces the chance of Rampage bluffing with hands like ace X. say ace king, ace queen, ace jack with the ace of clubs. Had the ace been the ace of spades it may have enticed Henry to call knowing that Rampage could more credibly hold the ace of clubs. Nice hand all the same and a great fold.
Folding when you know you’re most likely beat is actually very difficult. So often, you level yourself into thinking you’re somehow good. Crying calls are the biggest money-losers.
beginner here, but why did wesley not call when rampage raised to 1600? he has 500k stack of chips. is it not worth it to just see the flop by calling with another 1300?
The Q doesn't even play on that board though. Maybe it's a creative rare bluff with the Q of clubs, but I don't see AK AQ raising for value after Henry's show of strength.
I dont know why people say that was a very well played hand by Henry, the B/F on the river is only the less awful action he made postflop. You have 0 raises on A44r, youre never raising AJ, AT, JJ or TT, the hands that continue on that flop, so makes absolutely no sense to raise 4x, given that rampage only continues with AA, KK, QQ, AK and AQ... that turn is a fucking disaster, only reduces the combos of AK, he is now chopping or losing to all Ax so AQ is mainly a fold, youre not getting another dollar of value from QQ and youre pretty much dead against the rest of his range. You just screwed up all the hand so might as well try get some value from i dont know what on the river, but rampage is a strong reg, so im pretty sure he would find the X/shove bluff on the river with AK, so Henry is only winning the minimum or/and iso himself against a monster range, making sure to lose a big pot vs a strons player, that line is obviously fine against a fish like Francisco
When you consider how rare boat combos are, that every other trips that don’t boat are chopping by turn and that back door clubs don’t take this line…this fold is exceptional
It's way too tight of a fold. He had the right odds to the pot. Rampage has no hands in his range that spike a 4. Pocket As and KS are the only two hands that can beat him. Even if Rampage has a naked 4, it's a split pot. Thats WAY too tight a fold. In my opinion, this is why Henry has the results he has. His play js exploitative. When you call a raise preflop with 4-5, you are at the top end of your range when you flop set . Rampage would have played A-K the same EXACT way. If you're going to call preflop raises and 3 bets with marginal hands and and fold when the hand hits the top of the range, you are just donating money. You HAVE to make that call. ESPECIALLY when it's televised. If, not you have become PREY. He has effectively stated, "I will put money in the pot with marginal cards, smash my hand, put more streets of money in the pot, then let you push me off that money. Even when I have 50% of my starting stack invested and my worst case scenario only involves 2 possible hands. He may have saved 39k this hand. But he has cost himself, WAY MORE in the future now that this has aired on social media. Any skilled player in those games is probably licking their chops like he is raw meat in a lion cage. I would suggest he switch gears for the next few months.
The clubs shouldn’t mean anything in this hand I don’t see any flushes getting here from either players shoes on this flop. Also technically Rampage flopped the 2nd nuts this hand not the nuts.
Well if Henry has a 4 there’s no way anyone can have pocket 4s making aces full the nuts Edit: from a spectators POV of course. from Rampage’s perspective, he could be losing to the nuts , 44
People saying this isnt a hard fold? How so...most of you probably snap calling at lower stakes. Lol. Only hands hes really losing to is pocket aces and some better 4x suited hands. Excellent fold if you ask me.
The way the hand was played he loses only to aces, kings, and A-4, but there aren’t any suited combos of A-4 available. Rampage has aces, kings, or nothing. You even hear Henry mutter that.

Rampage telling Henry "good fold" was a very classy move, he could have kept him rattled / tilted for the rest of the session, but decided to throw a life-line.
It was at the end of a live stream… he knew he was about to see it anyway
Bad decision. It's poker.
@mrhumble2937 it's literally the end of stream and he'll see it anyway. What😂
I get kinda irritated when people always say “good hand” a lot of ppl I know will say that no matter what.
Fold I mean
I like how both players played their hands. This is a spot where you can find some bluffs with a lot of Ax so calling down and check raise was on good move on Rampage and Henry's fold is pretty impressive.
Think rampage could have raised turn but of course he didn't know he had a 4
He raised with 45 under the gun, then called a huge 3-bet
Rampaged played this pretend poorly. He has to raise this turn and look to get all the money in.
pretty impressive? I thought that was an amazing fold very impressive haha
7:47 Kudos to the cameraman for capturing that sneeze, and to the editing team who decided to leave it in this clip.
Most exciting part of the hand was Mars’s sneeze at the end
This is why people respect Rampage and Mariano, the aren’t about extracting every last cent in a private high stakes game, they keep it casual in spirit.
Huh? Rampage check-raised him all-in on the river.
@@rd-pd8xb think harder
@@rd-pd8xb told him good fold though
Mars sneezing at the end of the vid🤣🤣🤣
IMO, Henry is one of the best players on this stream. He’s been running so bad, it’s crazy.
It was a bad call preflop lol
@@chemstudent4826 for $1,600, suited connectors? Not that bad lol
100% agree. His game is so good but he runs so bad
@@chemstudent4826 Also it’s a bad bet on the river when rampage checked to trap him. Henry should have checked back on the river
@@Mr.Sniffles1 yes lol. 54s isn’t nearly as good as 89s or 910s. Also, does he really think he can get 3 streets of value from a worse hand?
Respect to Henry...many monsters he's had to fold
King Henry makes the best fold after a bad pre flop call .
Great job man , you are one of the few regulars that makes great folds .
amazingly played by both
Such a great fold Henri ! Better hands will come :) WP Rampage ! What a nuts flop !
Great fold! I think Henry is a very good player, and I watch a lot of HCL, but does he ever win on the show? Is he like Handz, super talented, but just a lot of coolers?
That “good fold” hit different than most “good folds”
Win or lose I love Henry’s play style
he is the most underrated player on the stream
A professional fold.....harder than it looks. WP Henry.
the frustration with henry on the river there is not checking but then if he missed value as well.... poker is a great mental battle
Top man rampage, you could see the relief straight away once he knew that he made the right call.
Poker Gods loves Rampage so much.. he doesn’t have to do much most of the time
read this as "MONSTER COLLUSION." I was thinking I was in for a good one lol
Sick lay down. Bravo 👏

You have to raise the turn here oop.
@The tree I agree because scare cards like clubs or ace (or even king maybe) can come on river.
Well played Henry. Looking back, it's really tough not to bet that river. The K on the turn helped save him the rest of his chips.
Look at rampage! He’s just way to calm on the river shove lol 😅
nice one Henry, good fold
Rampage our modern day Johnny Chan aka The Orient Express!
My favorite part was how they highlighted that sneeze at the end
Dude just runs so good
Any thoughts on rampage min-raising instead of jamming on that river check raise?
Thats a fantastic fold
That exact 1st hand happend to me the other day at the Aria but I had A4 against AA.
Henry had a bluff catcher, checking the river was the move
Rampage could back raise 24k. On turn and Jam the river.
reading the word collision looked a lot like collusion which is why i clicked the video. good job title man lol
rampage just on a lifelong heater i guess, must be nice haha good for him the gods of chance look favorably on him
I respect that by rampage telling him good fold
Henry played the hand well, hard to find a fault in how he played it.
THE NUTS on this flop are 44. ❤
Is it still the nuts when one player has a 4?
I like check calling on the river in this situation. Got called twice back door clubs... Saves you some money when best induce bluffs
I really would have called Ethan's all-in, putting him on AK. Really nice laydown.
Why should AK go all in instead of calling your river bet? I think as a bluff you should start turn raising
Rampage only has the nuts from Henry's perspective lol (since Henry blocks quads in a far more literal sense of "blocks" than usual), not from his own
When a poker player tells you, good fold and you can hear sincerity, that person had you.
How long will it be until we have to start dodging overlays?
rampage is running good, this will entice him to play higher stakes with pros.
can he play at the big tables and handle the downswings
Rampage ❤
What a fold by Henry
He didn't flop the nuts, the nuts would have been pocket 4's.
But the title said someone flopped quad 4's.
Great fold
That club on the River save him😉😉😉
Folding when you know you’re most likely beat is actually very difficult. So often, you level yourself into thinking you’re somehow good. Crying calls are the biggest money-losers.
Atta boy Henry ,, he is a freak and freaks flop out on everyone. 😮
THIS is why you don't slow-play trips. If Henry had gotten cute and checked flop, he probably woulda got stacked.
beginner here, but why did wesley not call when rampage raised to 1600? he has 500k stack of chips. is it not worth it to just see the flop by calling with another 1300?
444 is a bluff catcher here. Rampage not shoving AK. Spot is underbluffed. Very makeable albeit exploitable fold
bro HCL is now full of sponsorhips.. in a month we wont be able to see the screen
Henry is a better man than I. Rampage's line smells so much like AK AQ; I'm snapping that off and losing it all.

Good fold because if he put Rampage on any ace, that means he didn't have a flush.
Good fold
Does anyone know if rampage is a rapper?
"the NUTS"
That's seems to me rather lucky mode.
Flopping the NUTS? 4 fours is the nuts.
Should be raising flop or turn to build pot.
翻前的错误LIMP 翻后含泪支付
thinking about vegas and the fucking mirage....
Overplay trips
I guess pocket 4's are no good on the flop if Rampage flopped the NUTS....according to the title.
44 would be the nuts…
When you consider how rare boat combos are, that every other trips that don’t boat are chopping by turn and that back door clubs don’t take this line…this fold is exceptional
You can tell he has lots of experience
flopping the nuts would be pocket 4s, but close enough. Tricky hand
from a spectator POV, Isn’t aces the nuts because there’s no combinations of pocket 4s left?
Is it me or Henry is always on the wrong side of coolers?
Who fucked up brown ballas fade 💇♂️🤣
Easy peasy fold. What was all the fuss about?
Not the nuts, regardless if Henry has a 4, Rampage does not know that.
Even though henry had A4, that is lower full house than rampage. And actually it is second nut becuz 5 quads is the nut from rampage's point of view
Did you even watch the video? Henry doesn't have a full house. He has trip 4's.
Too bad rampage wasn’t more aggressive on the flop, in this instance it all could have gone in by the river.
Rampage didn't Flop the nuts though did he?
It's way too tight of a fold. He had the right odds to the pot. Rampage has no hands in his range that spike a 4. Pocket As and KS are the only two hands that can beat him. Even if Rampage has a naked 4, it's a split pot.

I would suggest he switch gears for the next few months.
Not quite ..
Hero fold 🚫🧢
He flopped second nuts. Nuts is quad 4's
He DID NOT flop the nuts... 44 is nuts
Easy to say from the stands, but he’s gotta bet that river. Check all the way to a raise all in is a huge red flag.
The clubs shouldn’t mean anything in this hand I don’t see any flushes getting here from either players shoes on this flop. Also technically Rampage flopped the 2nd nuts this hand not the nuts.
Beast mode?? Lol AA puts anyone in “Beast mode”
The NUTS would be pocket 4s. When did a good hand become the nuts instead of the hand that can not be beaten?
Well if Henry has a 4 there’s no way anyone can have pocket 4s making aces full the nuts
Edit: from a spectators POV of course. from Rampage’s perspective, he could be losing to the nuts , 44
Beast mode is getting paid on the river. Anyone can play this AA hand! Hell my 5 year old knows exactly how to play this hand! 🤦♂️
Tanking makes the whole industry, the whole game in the whole poker culture unwatchable
People saying this isnt a hard fold? How so...most of you probably snap calling at lower stakes. Lol. Only hands hes really losing to is pocket aces and some better 4x suited hands. Excellent fold if you ask me.
He could have showed the aces
He did NOT flop the nuts. only second nuts.
Never seen Doyle brunson sit and ponder for 13 yrs like these new clowns. Just lay it down without the theatrics smdh
Henry only beatsQQ and AQ each with Q♣️
I don't think this was an especially difficult fold at the end. Henry obv. value owned himself, and should fold at the end pretty much every time.
The way the hand was played he loses only to aces, kings, and A-4, but there aren’t any suited combos of A-4 available. Rampage has aces, kings, or nothing. You even hear Henry mutter that.
Should have just raised 10K.
Not the nuts - hate clickbait titles.
Feel bad for this guy Henry!! He needs to quite playing this game
Not the nuts
