I saw this movie today im so touched by everything and how they didnt give up till the end.
Definitely one of the best war movies to date. In comparison to most it didn't glorify the allies (America to be exact) as heroes who did nothing but good and had honor. It showed the true nature of soldiers warring against eachother. Shia Lebouef said it best "...what a man can do to another man." So I really commend this movie for being so gritty rather than glorifying.

In the end, they all held their position, Darusdei here, making a really valid point, is questioning on how the fuck doesn't an SS platoon have any anti-tank equipment.
This is still one of the best workout songs to sink into...focus and hit it like ya can't miss

Saw Fury a few hours hours ago. The film is great. Best film to capture the war's perspective from a tank crew.

a world war isn't exactly "no reason"
fury is based on a real story. 3rd amoured had a tank knocked out and a young troop manned all the guns, set fuses in the shells and killed a lot of Germans. the timescale was much shorter than the movie as his infantry support was up much quicker. documented briefly in Deathtraps, one of the books Ayer drew inspiration from.
I wanna see a proof for this :D If all americans have fought like that WWII would have ended in one week xD
Not exactly since death traps was a book on how American Tanks were out match in almost everyway to the Americans. There is a section of the book when General Eisenhower sent a message to his unit asking him why they are losing so many Sherman's tanks. The best answer came from a Tank Gunner who said "General in order to knock out a German tank i gotta get within 600 yards and get it on the back side. They can knock me out 2000 yards head on." The ending of the movie Fury is ridiculous. One of the main reasons why it got so many negative review's were because of it's ending.
A lot of men did fight like that but the Germans and Japanese did as well.

Anyone who thinks this movie glorified the U.S. forces in WWII(and somehow believe it's propaganda 70 years after the war) have clearly never seen it. It more accurately portrays the idea that war is hell because it truly is.
EH and what about showing the germans as evil nazis and portraying them as incompetant idiots ? com on an ss ace tiger tank misses a shot on 200 yards ? realy ?! noway ! and what about the end ? ! a whole platoon of germans is to stupid to walk 200 meters around a tank to shoot theyr panzerfausts on the tank from behind ?

Such a damn good movie
an excellent movie that wasn't afraid to show the gritty, darker side of warfare. I find that while it portrayed our troops as flawed and ultimately human individuals it still paid homage to their courage and ferocity.
