My point was to say that they considered anime themes good enough and likable to play them at the olympics. The whole point of my commnet being ^anime dominates the japanese entertainment industry^. Olympics was a part of it to show it's importance in japan (tokyo olympics held in japan ^.^ ).

My son watches anime all the time since he was a child, he's 20 now, it really surprised me how in the world I actually knew all these references 😂 and I don't even watch anime 😳
