i should buy one of these thank you for sharing
Nice !
Can I connect HC-05 Bluetooth module with this board? An immediate response would be appreciated. Thanks.
Hello, do you have an idea how to create a frequency using the timers of the M0? Normally I use Keil Studio to handle Cortex CPU to have full access to all peripherals but I want to try Arduino now. The XIAO has a SWD interface on its bottom.
I've never tried that before. I'm going to have to look into it.
@@BasementElectronics I think that it is time to write a library for it using the hardware registers from the Core Header. But the 32 timers with dozens of modes are much more complex than normal AVR timers.
Good video, thanks. Have you had any luck getting these into deep sleep?
You can program deep sleep into it's functionality. Write any looping program that turns off all leds or device repetition after an arbitrary period of time that can be reset by button push.
Hello from Edinburgh!
Great to hear from you. Hello from Canada!
I think those are great but have recently found the attiny85 for 5 usefull for things you dont need wifi for. The Esp32 is smaller if you need wifi. Just buy the chip and add a voltage regualtor. I tthought that device had wifi. Bummer I definately prefer the attiny over that device. You can program the attiny easily with an Arduino uno or mini or micro which we all have.
I like the compatibility with CircuitPython. I don't know if the ATtiny85 has the same compatibility.
I tend to use the ESP32 for most of my projects because, like you said it's the most versatile. I'm not nearly confident enough to roll my own boards though :)
They need to add Bluetooth
Yes... and no. Having Bluetooth would be very valuable, but it would also make the board probably twice as big not to mention more expensive.
There are plenty of alternatives with varying features to fit whatever needs you have.
@@BasementElectronics I'm using a D1 mini esp32 at the moment.
That's a WeMOS board, isn't it? I've been wanting to pick up a couple of those.
Unexpected Maker has the TinyPICO NANO which I'd also like to try.
@@BasementElectronics yes. I’m loving them. The double rows of pins are a bit hard to breadboard but I cut the small breadboard down the middle on my bad saw. Works great then lol.
