Just perfect, I’ve undone my previous work as I just couldn’t wait to try this! Thank you for taking the time to show us, takes Couture Romans to the next level. Can’t wait to see more

Blooming brilliant ... I grew up in a curtain workroom, and got taught for a year or two on leaving school. Can't remember how we made Roman blinds back then but it's now many years later and this is the clearest set of instructions on the whole of the Internet as far as I can tell. Thank you so much. Did you ever do the bottom bar tutorial you said you would?

They are all still stab stitched

you can skip stab stitching though if using blackout lining?

josephine dixon you cant skip Stab stitching unless you you interlock each layer as you connect blinds. My blinds have no visible stitching in the front and I never use blackout lining as lining. I use bonded blackout interlining in between main fabric and standard lining layers.

      Hope that makes sense

@Sacha Boxall it may be another video : ) i feeling a bit dumb. bonded blackout interlining instead of blackout lining - ah, okay. with interlocking around all the edges? but stab stitching (around where the rings are sewn on the rod pockets) would go through to front and leave wee light holes no?

@@sachab247 a lot of digging around on the internet but i get it now. and seems a few stab stitches are inevitable. but interlining layer should help minimise them. onwards, upwards ...

Hi Sasha, do you not stab stitch on your roman blinds? There is no mention that you do in this video. I'm wondering if this method means you don't need to? Thank you x

I used to stab stitch but now we interlock each layer
