In current play, yes, he's quite rudimentary and some could say he's quite slow. His game sense tho, is crazy good and makes up for his *_relative_* lack of _mechanical_ skill in this day and age compared to the pros of today
This is some really solid advice. I remember the first time it clicked for me - a higher ranked player said - if you’re serious about getting better at this game it’s going to be really boring and he was so right. working on shooting, flicks, speed and watching endless replays. It’s not really all that fun!
Honestly when you play the game when you actually want to play the game you will enjoy it and play a lot better. Don’t force yourself to play because you think you will get better. There’s really no advice to give besides playing the game and low key becoming obsessed with it.
something really interesting i have notice at low ranks. players like to cover most of the time, only the aerial option when i have multiple option for me. it's so ez to do a power slide cut like flake when i show at my enemy i go in direction of the wall with the ball.
Indeed. None of the advice given cuts down on the 1000s of hours required to perfect some of these skills. Even his examples (flicking, shooting, fast aerial) are infinitely improvable skills. It is good advice to limit what you practice to a few mechs at a time though, but you still gonna have to put in 100s of hours per skill to perfect them.
there’s no way you just mentioned “not-so-mechanical players” and then named Squishy…
well yeah

@@costa735 yes he is as good as he has ever been but that's not how rocket league works, if you had the same level every 6 months that's 1 rank down
@_ph4nt0mzz_47huh do you even know ball?

@@Sploofa fr spookluke is a scammer who just posts the same video like every time

100 1v1 games takes about 18ish hours. Considering breaks and such. Not that I did that before in one day. Could not be me 😂
