OMG that TFL release feels so good! I've been having left hip pain from running longer distances, and have been doing gluteus medius strengthening exercises, but adding this ball release to my stretch just immediately felt so much better--thank you Cori!!!
OK, I have now watched the intro some 7 times, the stretches 1 time and the outro 3 times, and I must say, Kiwi is the greater actor! She's a natural. She even seemed authentically alarmed by that, ahem, alarm. He he what a great intro indeed! Thank you both for the smiles 😊 💖
@@redefiningstrengthOC Your actual alarm! Woah, if you need that sound to wake up you must be sleeping too well for your own good, or for Kiwi's good, in any case. I bet she would appreciate a little vacation with classical music... 🎼 And this here dudette have now watched the intro some 4 times more 😁
Perfect timing, Cori! I've just started my morning pre-workout routine of drinking black coffee while looking at my RUclips subscription feed and your video couldn't come at a better time! I'm going to immediately do this later just before I do one of your Cardio Burners. 😄 Super excited to start it!
Just made 50. I do weight training, cardio, calisthenics, and basic yoga once a week to stretch and keep my flexibility. You gave me some great pointers on areas of pain management with a tennis ball, thank you! Subbed!
Okay, I just finished my modified World’s Greatest Stretch routine where I incorporate a few more of her stretch/strengthening ideas, but today, despite some extra moves trying to target the area, my SI joints are a bit locked, making some movements more difficult and painful. Well, at least it is better than it has been before, and since the chiropractor is off limits. I wonder if Cori could design a quick routine to target that area specifically to regain mobility? That would be wonderful.
0:52 You got that cup while attending a party at Kelly’s. Though you seem to have a limited edition as everyone else’s are low cups. Bribe her with free training sessions? Oh behave... And Jim’s absence was sorely noted. Ty fo all your effort. I too have been wasting time and money at PT and the chiropractor for years now. NONE have addressed these issues like you. It’s almost like they just want to treat me and not offer a permanent remedy. Obviously your advise here takes discipline and effort but at least we can know its possible.
Michael Boyle say the Scorpion is not good for functional training : sprints, football and others sports... Shirley Sharmann say it's a dangerous movement for L5 - S1. Rotation : 5°.
Hi Cori 😃 I don't like foam rolling 🤭 and I know that it would be very helpful ... It's my personal challenge and you are reminding me that it's important to include in my routine something about that... 🙏🏻
I don’t think there is a better trainer out there! Always the best content. I’m in amazing shape for 56 but she has helped me take my training and stretching to another level! Thank you so much!
I'll say it again : Cori is the Queen of Fitness Comedy on RUclips. The opening absolutely reminded me of Enchanted. Amy Adams would love Hughie too I'm sure.
Girl, I just love love love ya! I have been 'googling' for MONTHS looking for EXACTLY and precisely what you just showed us in the video. Thank you so much for giving us all some excellent 'ways' to start our days. Speaking of..............may your day be abundantly blessed.
Soooo professional and so much fun! Your channel has been THE discovery during the lockdown. I am learning so much with you! Thank you from Italy! Simona
Hip flexors that where I need to focus on, specifically my left hip seems stiff or sore. Thank you for addressing the issues getting going, it's a process sometimes.
I really enjoy your videos! Well presented, informative without excessive overtalk - I appreciate that THE MOST & obviously the movements/workouts are great! Thx!!!
Maybe a guess but I suspect they are too young to appreciate the importance of these brilliant videos. They are taking the easy way out of showing people what to do and not what people NEED to do. I was guilty of this many many years ago. I would approach my clientele differently now if I was back there. It's been said before but this channel is pure gold.
Ok I have a question, when I used a tennis ball and rolled over my hip flexors with it the ball hurts and is very uncomfortable, is that normal? Please explain.
Like a massage pressure can be uncomfortable but with rolling you want to HOLD not roll quickly. And if you can't relax with the pressure, you need to start with a softer or larger roller.
Thank you so much for inspiring us with body strength training.Much love and respect for you.I too started uploading RUclips videos, need much support 🙏🏼Do check it .
What a great intro ;D ! Thanks for the this much needed video as I’m sure many of us wake up with aches and pains. One of the stretches i do is your the World’s greatest stretch, including the down dog
3 important routines are 1) Foam Rolling 2) Stretching 3) Activation So another solutions I came up with are.... 1) Qui gong (a chinese medical technique for activating nerves and cells by lightly hitting or slapping the body areas) 2) Mobility routine 3) Drink (Lemon/Apple Cider Vinegar) w/ water
Enjoying your videos. However, about the wording "Mind-body connection" , in yoga (proper, not fitness) and other esoteric sciences, mind is the opposite of what you mean. Mind is that monkey that doesn't want to focus, or a voice that says "you can't", or otherwise, a flattering one. It's -rather- consciousness- body connection.
Hi Cori, just discovered your videos a few days ago and i'm immediately drawn to them because of the scientific and efficient approach to each execise movement. I'd love to see some for 60years old and above if you will. Thanks.😊🙏
Estoy viendo tus videos, me están gustando, pero lo malo es que no entiendo nada. No se si los ejercicios que muestra son lo que hay que hacer o son los que no hay que hacer. Jejeje😔
Geez I wake up groggy go to the coffee machine. Try to bend down to the feet to get on my shoes. Then I walk to my garage coffee in hand. Sit down on the bench stretch my neck once or twice and then do a full powerlifting routine..... Ummmm where do I go wrong?
What kind of ball are you using in this video? Looks like a softball, but I just want to be sure. I’ve been told in the past to use tennis balls for things like this, but the ball you used looks like a better choice.
Hi Cori, my wife and I love your channel! We are 51 years old and this video really spoke to our body issues. My wife and I are mildly active but want to do more, do you think you could put together a morning routine that we can follow along with you for joint health and mobility for us older and novice fans? Thank you, best regards, Jay
That spiderman pose stretch is a live saver 🙌 my back used to be feeling stiff after playing basketball. But these stretches have given me more mobility after games ✊. THANK YOU 🙌🙌
I hold up to 60 seconds but honestly consistency with it as that first step is key so even 30 seconds adds up. I usually honestly do 30-60 seconds for everything based on the time I have. But even just a 5 minute routine makes a difference!
These are great. I'd add to it that....I love to start and end my days with at least one good Downward Dog...a Happy Baby stretch... and also...to START the day.... dry-skin brushing...gets the blood flowing...sloughs off dead skin...good for the lymph...and it just WAKES UP your skin!

Very helpful!! So much more than just three things! I will save for future reference.
many videos of "must do" every day but different stuff. Great info but what to do? Cant do everything
Great ideas for stretching and activation. Were you using a softball for the TFL rolling?
Im gonna get some pjs that can double up as exercise kit. Thank you for this much needed nudge.

"I can't adult today". Love it lol
Thanks for the excellent tips and great information
Thanks again. Looks like I have a great deal of study ahead of me.
This is helpful, wow! Like it
Wow, thank you, I really needed a refresh on this.
What's the difference/benefit to bridge with squeeze vs bridge with band?
All I know is that dog is adorable 😍
Thank you for always including modifications 👍
Glad they help!
Thank you for this video ,really appreciate it

Excelente como siempre 💪💪

The way your poodle 🐩woke up 😍😍😍.. P.S saw your 2 videos and now am your subscriber.. Your videos are helping me a lot...

That cross over leg stretch... does the arm laying on the floor have to be bent?
What kind of ball did you use? Looks slightly larger and softer than tennis ball
Lisa Rogers neon softball
I think i have a problem. I tried the second foam rolling technique and only felt pain. It was on my right side only.
What kind of ball is that?
Michael Boyle say the Scorpion is not good for functional training : sprints, football and others sports... Shirley Sharmann say it's a dangerous movement for L5 - S1. Rotation : 5°.
The key is listening to how I cue it. If you try that move with the glute engagement it is more hip extension than lumbar rotation ;-)
@@redefiningstrengthOC Ah ok. I understand. Thank you. But i don't understand why Michael Boyle doesn't teach the scorpion with the glute engagement.
OMG, 0:50 perhaps the funniest thing I've ever seen!
How about before going to bed?
The poodle 💘
So beautiful!❤️Much Love😍
Does anyone really use that alarm, I would smash my phone and be grumpy af if that woke me up
You are absolutely gorgeous ❤️

Kiwi at :27 cracks me up
:-) hehe she got so scared! It's my actual alarm and she hates it!
@@redefiningstrengthOC poor thing, then! At first, she looked like "mom! Mom! You're not bouncing with me!"
I like your videos. They're practical and intelligent. I learn from them every time. But do you have to say "mind-body connection" so many times?
Yup. Hopefully now you'll actually work on that mind-body connection :-)

Thank you!
Hip flexors that where I need to focus on, specifically my left hip seems stiff or sore. Thank you for addressing the issues getting going, it's a process sometimes.
Sometimes imbalanced prehab is key focusing on even just relaxing one side as you activate the other even!
Really helpful but the quick cuts in the video and rushed narration makes it difficult to follow. It required over a dozen repeats for some movements
You definitely scared kiwi with that siren 😅
That's my actual alarm. She does NOT like it. And when she heard the video even playing later she got so freaked out :-(
@@redefiningstrengthOC How you don't have panic attacks with that alarm
Thank you, this is just what I needed. As for the ball I think I'm going to get into a fight with my dog
