When Fiji was in his prime 20 years ago, that man could sing, dance, and work the entire stage for 60+ minutes, no breaks. Wish people could see how great a performer he was.
When I was living in Vegas he always had concerts out there and he use to tear it up on the stage

E Papa is another song Fiji sang as well. I believe it’s a Māori song. But when he sings it live, it’s SWEET.
To be honest. Fiji is the one that all Polynesians artists look to for inspiration for their music today. He is a legend in our community, representing all of Polynesia with his powerful voice since the 90s. We've all grew up listening to him. You should really look into his music😊 you won't be sorry.

I believe his real name is George Veikoso? He is a lagend in the vast Pacific Ocean! Fiji, Bradda IZ, SpawnBreezie, and quite a few more Polynesian artists were so famous from the 80s but the marketing of their music had been ignored. Now. Iam just copy some of those legendary bits and pieces and the world is in awe!! But for us, they're our oldies. If Bradda IZ ever had the chance to sing in one of those reality shows, they might have taken the mike away because he doesn't need it. That's how powerful that angelic tone of voice is.....love the reaction KF!
I like how this guy reacts to these jams. Also, I wish this song was only 15 years old, cuz I’d still be in my 30’s 😂. This timeless classic is almost 30 years old. Bruddah Fiji has definitely made enough jams y too have a constant rotation on my iPods and iPhones. He’s influenced so many Polynesian artists for generations to come.

So all the back vocals and singing on his songs are Al him! He’s very talented and has a great ear for harmonies and is known for his vast range in vocals and hits those high falsetto notes that are unreachable! Great Polynesian artist, great legend for the Polynesian people.

You should react to Ekolu (you probably heard Iam’s version which is heavily influenced by Ekolu), Three Plus, Maoli, Anuhea, Common Kings, Rebel Souljahz, The Green, Pau Hana, J Boog, Kimie Miner, B.E.T., Natural Vibrations, Kapena, and Iz of course. I’m probably missing some lol but just check any of these artists out 😊

In fact, Maoli, is having a concert on July 7th-8th at the Waikiki Shell! He’s a newer local artist and he has some songs that DEFINITELY needs to be on the mainstream. Look up the song “Jealous” from him.
Fiji the GOAT! does his own runs and backup singing for majority of his songs. You just opened a whole can of worms with FIJI Josh Tatofi and Maoli so far. They have many great originals.
FIJI is a legend in all the islands of Pasifika. He paved the way for many island artists. Just a FYI-Fiji is actually from one of the island groups in the Pacific known as Melanesia.
