Thank YOU! I couldn't find any info about the secondary shim thing, mine was (is still) fit with zero float and its eating its belt (I can smell it). I'll take off another shim and let it float a couple millimeters. I have a crossfire 7 (2006). The last owner fit a new secondary on it and shimmed it right up. Though he also didn't clean the exhaust valves so they didn't open well and sold it cheap thinking it was down on power, now it touches the ground with the tail-light every time I pin it with its 2 inch paddles (I just sit there staring at my friends and then I pin it while maintaining the stare and seating position).
hey my stock secondary doesn't have any float. i am in the process of re doing all my bearings, seals, and clutch springs so when I'm putting it back together how do i get my stock secondary to float. or is it not supposed to? my sled is a 2006 500ss rev
Its probably too late for you to read this but i just got a 07 summit 800. and my rpm guage dose not work. I just been wanting to know where to start im new to sleds and just need a hand. message me back. if you read this thanks Erik.

Stock 600ho pipe works fine, if not use a dynoport 600ho pipe for more hp
