Mudroom Renovation Part 1: the Tides have turned

- This is the next major house renovation project. I'm going to completely redo my laundry room/mudroom to make it ultra functional. It will act as our pantry, with storage for human food, animal food, less frequently used kitchen tools, and so much more. There are so many elements that will go into this, such as replacing windows and doors, new tile, framing, drywall, electrical, and much more!

Make sure you have a return vent (or other way for air to escape the room) otherwise the HVAC register won’t be effective.

The box from Heather seems to be an imp-door. Here in Germany its some kind of tradition. You create a little door and tell your kids that an imp lives there. The imp can leave letters or vice versa, you can decorate the door for e.g. christmas or you can place some milk and cookies over night etc.
Hope you're doing ok, Ben. My Saturdays don't seem right without starting with your video. Hope you're healthy and just too busy for videos right now.

I left the laundry hook ups in tact in order to bring the machines back in part way through. I’ll go over that in a later video

@@wally4000 My apologies, that does count. I enjoy the carpentry and such. I should have been more specific as to what I wanted. He used to do a voice over of his plans while he worked on carpentry. Hes doing more direct talk to the chamera. It's a shift in his program
that I do not particularly enjoy. I'm simply voicing myself.
