I'm Brazilian and stryper is one of my favorite bands since 85 and I'm not even Christian 😅. Finally in 2018 they came to Brazil and I happened to be here and watch them for the first time . Wow! What a show. They still in good shape.
This is the first song, the title track, of their THIRD album as Stryper. The first album was The Yellow And Black Attack, followed by Soldiers Under Command. Before doing The Yellow And Black Attack, they were known as Roxx Regime and played common secular songs. After they became born again, they arose as the first Christian metal group and was determined to bring the message of Jesus Christ to the MTV-crowd.
They are still putting out Albums. They just released this week an all Acoustic album of songs from the last 40yrs and this fall they have a new Studio album comming out
These guys are still killing it with new music and touring. You should check out some of their newer stuff like "Transgressor" or "The Valley" to see how they have aged.

I grew up listening to 70/80s Rock R& B Rap and hip hop... I did listen to some 80/90s rock but it wa smainly hip hop r&b music but I am SO HAPPY I decided to do this to learn more about metal, symphonic metal and other new music. Thanks for asking

I saw them in concert on tour for THWTD in 1987 and again 28 years later in 2015 nearly to the same day as 1987
Went to this concert in my city and it was great. They can sing and play running around the stage. Good times those 80s were. 😂😂😂😂😂

People don't realize, especially today how many of the classic rock bands from the 60's 70's and even 80's & 90's were Christian!
