This song is from their incredible 2019 album Macro. Another incredible song from the same album is "Home Back", a brilliant, intense, technical piece with a wonderful surprise interlude in the middle. The Official Music Video perfectly captures the lyrical subject matter, which is in itself very heavy, being about how war brutalizes & destroys child-like innocence. The song was written in the aftermath of the 2014 Russian annexation of Crimea & support of militant separatists in the Donbas region of Ukraine, where 3 of the 4 band members are from (the drummer being from neighbouring Zaporizhzhia Oblast).

After all this time, I just call it Tati. She is her own genre.

Thanks so much for reacting to more Heilung!!! So the the pronunciation of this one is easier by breaking it in two parts: Krigs (krigs or kriks) & galdr (gaal-dur). I'll try to add pronunciation guides for their other tunes. BTW, I'm a huge Yellowjackets fan (season 3 is still fliming). Many people have compared Maria from Heilung & the Antler Queen in Yellowjackets!

This was Heilung's first performance. The whole concert, Lifa, is incredible. My wife and I were priveleged to catch one of their rituals. I recommend one of Chris and Maria's other projects, Songleikr. A song called Ulvetime. Cheers!

When they were writing the song their producer kept saying that’s sick when he thought something was good. So you can take sick to mean something in a good context also. “Till it makes me feeeel sick”, can be interpreted as alive or even good!!! Double meaning word, “S!CK”😊⚡️

Ensiferum is jari of wintersun former band before he left and formed wintersun but he had already left by the time that concert orrcured in 2014 . And as you say they were dressed as Vikings. I wish you paid close attention to the female keyboardist how she was headbanging hard and at the same time playing her wow such a talented young lady. I'm picturing you on that keyboard Kelly headbanging while playing your keyboard like that at the wacken concert in Germany in front of all those people lol. I like how the lead singer in the beginning mentioned that ensiferum said they were sorry about the weather they didn't bring it from Finland with them to Germany he thinks it came from Sweden lol so funny! But since you like to travel overseas wouldn't be cool if you could go to the wacken festival concert in Germany Kelly and later show us the concert on your channel that would be awesome too. Can I just add som points that are important in seeing this? The most important being that the child is born under an eclipse 0:56 (seen in background several times). According to previking believs they had very special gifts: hamnskifte (= the ability to change appearance), age shift, talking to animals, and healing as in when she heals the bird.
