why does kids drawing trinket add to guppy transformation, but bob's bladder trinket doesn't add to bob transformation

because bobs bladder has an actual effect (a bad one but an effect) while kid's drawing's effect IS that it gives guppy progress

The trinket is not *really* a Guppy item. Giving Guppy progress is the actual effect of the trinket. If the trinket were *also* a guppy item then it would give 2/3. No trinket passively promotes transformations.
@@nurbxam8591Considering that Kids Drawings entire effect is contributing towards a transformation, it's pretty clear that game considers "contributes to transformation" as a unique effect that is non standard to trinkets.
It's so funny that the Oh Crap transformation gives you half a red heart for breaking poops because the most likely character to get the transformation, that can also generate poops is blue baby... the character that can't have red hearts
There’s a good mod that makes it that blue baby gets a friendly dip for every red health he gets idk if it works with oh crap tho since it doesn’t spawn red harts

Similar thing with the seraphim transformation: the Lost starts with Holy Mantle if you give enough money to the greed machine meaning he can get the transformation slightly faster, but it’s useless because
1. He already has flight
2. He has no health
Edit: apparently lost’s mantle doesn’t contribute to the seraphim count
@@Byssa6 This is when I tell you that the Lost's holy mantle isn't actually an item, but a core part of his character meaning it does not contribute to seraphim. (There's no holy mantle in your item list when you start the round and when you touch white fire you don't add it to your item list)

An understated benefit of the leviathan transformation is the context in which you likely get it, which is during devil deals. because it gives you black hearts you can often times cheat out a free devil item that would normally kill you.
Whats extra funny about the Bob transformation is that 1 of the items (and in my opinion the most likely since its in the red chest pool), Bob's Curse...already gives Poison immunity
I think Spun's biggest strength is how easy it is to get. The fact that syringes already give stats means that getting spun will carry you for a while in terms of stats. I feel like I get it a lot more than Beelzebub at least.
Also Oh Crap is generally stinky (as you would expect) but i have a soft spot for it because it has very niche game break potential
I play tainted lost and I always switch between normal and alt floor for the additional boss challenge rooms. Spun is like in 50% of my runs

dodging in the womb becomes harder too because the polyps there can fire tears upon being broken, so you have to dodge them too if you are low.

3:22 actually, yes this transformation can hurt you if you get a friendly rainbow champion it will attract you and make the game implayable (it's really rare so I understand why you didn't mention it). Also yes mother as T. Judas goes so hard, i'm pretty sure you could easely beat hush without shooting any tears with that

I give Yes Mother a 0 because it can activate TNT barrels as a flying character, blowing them up while you're on it. This has happened to me once and I hold a grudge to this day.
Lethiathan can also be obtained using sanguine bond with a 1% chance, it should be 3.01 usefullness instead
Just gonna point out ... the box of thescored '2' '3' and '4' under likelihood have a pixel row of white pixels if i am not mistaken, just for my ocd friends out there.

The issue with giving beelzebub a 2/4 likelihood is that the vast majority of items that give beezlebub transformation are quality 1 or 2 and with it being obtained from an item pool you're (basically) garanteed to take multiple items from, it always ends up feeling much more common
Not to mention jar of flies and hive mind can appear in the shop.
tractor beam + conjoined shoots all the tears in the same direction almost just as good as homing
My thoughts on how to make some anti pog transformations better
Funguy- on hit or rare chance on fire, unleash a fart that mucers an enemy, and all other farts have the same effect
Bob- gives a stackable aquarius copy and poison immunity and tears
Oh crap- keep the current effect with a small chance to get a random heart, on enemy kill spawn a poop with a small chance for a random poop to spawn, poops take one shot, and get larger farts
Spider baby- mulligan but spider
Stompy- gives current effect, you can open secret rooms, and you are immune to rock/mush effects
Wouldn't "mulligan but spiders" just be moms wig?

@@schizopenguinmom's wig spawns up to 5 spiders while you shoot, mulligan spawns a fly with a 1/5 chance when you hit an enemy. imo its not even similar
Guppy’s paw, tail, and dead cat are all obtainable through red chests as far as I’m aware. Hell I even got guppy’s head through a red chest once.
Beelzebub is definitely more likely than Guppy. Skatole, even though its a bad item, is extremely easy to get from the Shell game, and there's several fly items in the shop, plus you can get the plum flute every time you encounter Baby Plum (who you encounter early into the run so you can better gauge whether you want to go out of your way beelzebub). But having reliable ways to get at least 2/3 pieces of a transformation makes it significantly more common than Guppy imo, even if you won't run in to Baby Plum every time. If you want Beelzebub its probably the easiest transformation to "force" in to your run.
The question of whether its worth it to go out of your way for just flight and sacrifice at least 1 boss pool item and however many coins in the process is up to you, but its very easy to get.
I argue that the leviathan transformation is more useful than seraphim, only because since it's devil deals instead of angel deals, you can take a free deal potentially.
And black hearts > soul heart
I actually got super bum recently on one of my runs, sadly though it was on Void so I didn't get much value out of it but he's a kinda crazy little guy honestly. Plus, he has a super cool animation that plays when you get the transformation.
I once got 3 guppy pieces in one room. The runthat i got that in was horrible, I got 1 stat up. But i randomely bought hive mind in a shop the floor before the guppy one. I won that run by simply guppy + Hive Mind
I would like to add at the leviathan transformation it can sometimes get you another free item in the devil room if you are low on hp (u can buy it with rest of your hearts and then gain 2 black hearts)
Would the item thunder thighs count as stompy cause it does the same thing and says "you feel stompy" the spawn rock waves for others but not thunder thighs makes me unable to tell if it would be considered
A little thing to note about the leviathan transformation is that using Sanguine Bond has a 2% chance to turn you into leviathan.

Nah guppy should be like 4/5 likelihood they are like half of the red chest item pool and a big chunk of the curse room item pool so it's pretty easy to rig chaos voodoo head goat head by themselves can secure it or guppies tail (a guppy item) the makes chest spawn way more often with left hand a trinket that make them all red chest.
i mean I agree it is fairly common with all the pools its in but its def not more likely than some of the others on the list so i stand by my placement o7 you may throw your stones at me here
and the scale is only from 0 to 4 btw! guppy is 5/4 usefulness cuz its broken stupid

In 1,800 hours, I have only gotten Super Bum ONCE, and it was on my second Dead God file.
Bob's axis (axises? axes?) are swapped
All bums are available in the Item room pool and their respective bum's pools as well. They can also be acquired through Soul of Lilith. Additionally, key bum is available in the secret room pool and dark bum can be received through cambion conception or purchased in the devil room. So likelihood should be something like 0.1

Yes mother goes really nicely with Dark Arts, even more so if one of the items you got was mom’s knife
I never had Fun guy before and I have Adulthood 5 or 6 times, but I main Cain, so I'm not afraid of taking random pills.
But still I would say he should be likehoof 1,5 or even 2 if Fun guy is 1.

For Bob, doesn't the trinket Bob's Bladder also give you transformation progress like Kid's Drawing does for Guppy? I think you missed that.

Leviathan has an advantage where you can take more devil deals that you can handle, because the transformation itself won't let you die and give you 2 more hearts
It's always really satisfying when I wouldn't be able to take the Brimstone with just 1 soul heart, just for the Brimstone to give me the transformation wtih 1 more heart to have
I somehow got "Adult" before ever getting Guppy, Seraphim, Beelzebub or Leviathan.
I remember a time, back in 2015-2016, in which many of the Isaac videos were just titled "Something bla bla getting Guppy". Good times...

Dark Bum is also in the Treasure Room pool, so there is a non-zero chance that you can boot up a run and get Super Bum fron three consecutive treasure rooms and i think thats the ultimate jackpot you can get in isaac

Yes mother should at least be 2 usefulness. Considering the high likelihood of getting it, it's another damage option you have at your disposal for the rest of the whole run.
Also, arguably, bookworm is a 5 likelihood to get
I just disagree with Adult, yeah you HAVE to have the pill in rotation, but i've had it way more times than some of the transformations you rated 2 on likelihood
With guppy it's not per tear it's per tick of damage. That's why "the finger" is the best item to have with guppy. Crazy fly generator

I think there’s something to be said of the possibility of the Oh Crap transformation on Ultra Hard, outside that though I’m not sure there’s really much to do with it.
I would say the cuthulu isaac because i am sure that one would have the greatest impact when falling down to earth and hitting the ground.
I have gotten Super Bum like 3 times in my 3000+ hours of playing. Only 1 of which was without going out of my way for it in a game break.
Why is seraphim considered as likely as guppy if seraphim is also only in Angel/devil room and some other pools, the same as guppy basically but more items and also you don’t lose hearts to get it.
I think stompy can open doors and secret rooms with the ring of rock iirc. So if you are desperate, it's helpful there as well
Some ideas to improve the lesser useful transformations:
Bob- add immunity to explosions
Adult- add 0.25 damage mult, add speed down effect
Spider baby- spider does damage to enemy, add moms wig effect that can stack chance with moms wig
Funguy- increase chance to get items from mushrooms, destroying mushrooms heal 1/2 heart
Oh crap- poop enemies are friendly including poop themed bosses ( tell me that wouldnt be fun)
Stompy- ???
Stompy gives you 20% chance to do "i can't belive it's not butter bean" effect
I think adult transformation should give you tears up because it makes you pay taxes
Bumbo not contributing to Super Bum always felt odd
Beelzebub is pog, because cool fly guy with sun glasses 🥸
Conjoined is much harder to get in afterbirth+ because its item list only contains 7 items
I rolled a d100 into super bun once and its actually pretty bad as most rewards will give you chests with money and keys inside that he will immediately just eat again or will give you golden chests that you wont have the keys to open since he eats your keys.
Its only useful because dark bum is broken but both key bun and bum friend are just plain bad.

Usefulness is how high the item should be, and likelihood to obtain is how far aling the item should be. You got it right with all the other transformations from what I can tell. How did you screw it up with Bob?

I've only ever gotten Super bum ONCE and it was literally IN THE CHEST literally the last Floor I could possibly find it , I usually avoid key bum like the plague but the run I gotten Super bum , key bum was a blind item so I thought I was unlucky but nope I found regular bum in the chest!
Honestly i feel the newer transformations are all pretty undertuned for no reason at all. I feel that seraphim and leviathan should both have another effect packed in there.

I think Beezlebub may be the easiest transformation to get in the game behind Yes, Mother, it easily should be rank 3. A lot of the items are in the shop item pool, and skatole you can get by playing shell games in arcades. If you get one beezlebub item in a treasure pool, you can try to force it the same way you do guppy by checking shop items (which you can very often reroll for what you want) and by playing a shell game. Way more consistent to get imo than like, basically anything besides yes, mother which i get all the time on accident.
I also think you overrate spun a little. The damage up is super nice of course, but flight is amazing. I think flight is generally better, but i would rate spun's damage slightly higher because there are a lot of ways to get flight and you only need it once. 3.5 usefullness imo
I get adult in so many runs compared to fun guy. There's so many pill generating items

the only REAL use i know for mother transformation is to use knife in beast fight. But it's still not very great, because beast hitbox isn't static, and you need to know when to go away from it to not get hit.
I'd say stompy is a 1.5 likelihood, it's really not as rare as bob
Imo leviathan is significantly better than what people think. It is the easiest flight transformation to obtain (although you'll likely have flight through the items for leviathan), and flight has way more value the earlier you get it. It also allows for underpriced devil deals by granting you soul hearts or just provides an extra safety net cuz you are taking devil deals. In comparison, getting seraphim usually means it's already a won run, but getting leviathan might just save a run.

beelzelbub's likelyhood is off, it really should be a 3, because you can basically get skatole every run if you want to, meaning you only really need 2 fly items, and the fly items are pretty common in item and the shop, you can probably get the transformation every other run if you wanted to tbh

imo leviatan>seraphim. This gives you 2 black hearts, so if you can't afford the item in the devil's room, you can still buy it if it's the third transformation item. Additionally, if you go to the angel's rooms you usually have a lot of health, so these 3 additional soul hearts do not matter that much
Dont the spun and fun guy transformations drop needless and mushrooms on the ground when you kill enemies sometimes that give you temp stat ups
