To me, personally, the biggest concern is that we're not getting any information. I'm working as a programmer and whenever we do a big change if we are proud of it we want to show it off. Since they don't show us anything that tells me that they are either not proud of it or that they are afraid we're not gonna like it
The thing is SI don't usually give us any information about the game right until say a few weeks before the game is released. last year they gave the trailer and then did the roadmap that started from the week commencing the 18th September and they released weekly updates showing off different features or improvements up until the release date which was I think 6th November. So realistically, they are just doing what they did last year right now. I'm personally not worried until I see something that doesn't look good on the roadmap.
@@Mallrat83Photography That's not my experience with them they usually talk quite a bit about it and there's usually like almost half a year of early access, on top of that they usually have early videos talking about new features...
@@Touchpadse are we talking about the same game? Football manager never has early access like what you've described. They don't usually give any info up until a few weeks before release day, and tend to give info on changes and improvements during that time. They'll have a pre order and there's usually a beta for those that have pre-ordered for a week or two before the release date.
This reminds me of clubs selling season tickets before the window opens. Noises of signing him or him. Big names to get the fans excited.. Once they've sold the tickets we sign a 30 Yr old nobody who isn't even known in his own country. We've got your money. Suck it!
Not a fan ofthe new UI, there's so much wasted real estate and it's clearly optimized for consoles. Reminds me of the abomination of Windows 8. Npt a fan of that new logo either.
Console Football Manager player here. I play football manager on Keyboard and mouse, and the rare times I play with a controller I use the mouse feature. It's the same thing :v
Also, as a controller player I must say from experience that if you do not have the mouse option turned on, the UI looks a million times harder to get through. Apart from that the UI is quite bland and small, so I don't know how that is optimized for console in that way. Lastly Console version is different in some ways for that exact same optimization issue, because of that I think it makes no sense changing the PC version UI to optimized console. I'm not saying the new UI is good. I like some aspects of it like the squad UI, but hate others like the bland player attributes UI. Lastly I feel like people are just throwing console optimization has an excuse when it seems clear to me that they needed more than to develop their game and that this change should have been in FM26 and that they thought thr could finnish the game by this year but in the end they couldn't and now have to cut content.
Don't want tile system UI. Don't care about womens football. No pitchside shouts? No international football? Think I'll stick to FM 24 and use updates and editor.
Pitch side shouts have never really worked, it's a placebo at best and a detriment to your team at worst. Also international management is pretty boring and barely anyone does it. In regards to a tile system UI, I'm reserving judgement because I don't know how it'll play.
What I learned about it so far I feel the same. What I know about it so far simplyl doesn't make it worth it. Never watched a women's match, don¨t care.

I think i remember it costing 40 pound last year and it costs that this year. I wouldnt say its got less features either. And the upgrade to unreal engine 5 should improve graphics massively
It actually looks worse than the standard FM24 Skin. I hope this game easily modded. Then we can just make our own skins. Like we all have for past few years.
Devs spent too much time on womens game at the cost of cutting the main game modes..lets be honest maybe 10% of players might use the womens leauges and thats being generous its likely less then that. So why waste time and money on it.. international managment should have been improves but nope they cut it instead.. really not sure ill bother picking this one up and its a damn shame i havent touched fifa since fm came to consoles not even been tempted too but yeah maybe time to go back to that
@@michaelh878 no but that's a reasonable assumption. It's the same kind of work. Also it affects the complexity(I'm a programmer myself) so it adds work for everyone
@@michaelh878It's called opportunity cost. SI don't have dedicated women's football developers, those developers would have been working on something else if women's football wasn't added.
This really could be the end, mates. I think Luke's first point is on target: they're making everything "simpler" for the newer/younger generation of consumers. The minimal look would also support this. Miles has been trying to really make this game massive -as opposed to niche and detailed as it is today- for a while now. I just worry the true essence of the game will fade. Perhaps not now, but in a few years, they will make this game a whole new level of "streamlined". The tablet-console look is a dead giveaway.
I think its over. I've been playing the game for 31/32 years. No joke. I grew up with it as a kid. I think FM 2024 will be its final iteration for me unless things change but they seem intent on "opening up" the game to a wider (console player) market so effectively killing what made it great in the first place. Happens to all major games and studios eventually because muh money.
So now we can clearly say it wasn't the game engine holding them from bringing nice new stuff, they just don't have the skill to. They are only good at data stuff. Imagine, 20 years and they can't bring fun visuals and mechanics to facilities and upgrading stuff.
i wouldn't be that fast to judge them. They don't have the manpower and money that EA has. They can't just hire a 100 highly skilled programmers and 3D artists
@@nicktankard1244Don't think it takes 100 devs to do the basic community asks like make the game not look like shit. Plus, SI have basically relied on volunteer scouts for their entire existence while selling rehashes of the same game. Which is arguably the bulk of the workload considering the previous sentence. To me, this is is a Miles issue. Get him out already.
@@choiyongjae you do need a lot of devs to deliver a good game every year. When it was just 2d or even text, then you could do it with a relatively small team. Scouts and data is not even the main factor. Implementing a realistic-looking 3D game of football is no easy task. EA has hundreds of developers working on the game engine and it still not incredible. 3D simulation of dynamic sports is really hard even using something like unity.
@@nicktankard1244 bro, how hard it is to have one simple image of a training facility and you get another visuals once you upgrade them, every freaking mobile manager game has it, its a freaking standing picture! They just don't care for such details. Everyone I know playing FM wanted these small touches for game immersion. Even the social media in game, it has been the same shit messages for years. You are an underdog team, you make money and buy an important name, the messages are dull, you win champions league, the messages are dull. Like I said, it is just a nice "play around with the data" game, nothing more. In CM 01/02 you could hear fans cheering for spesific players after they score. Or spesific team chants, because it had detail, game immersion.
@@youtubearsivi9223 yeah those things are not hard but that’s not why they moved to unity. They want to attract more people for whom 3D graphics is a dealbreaker. Existing FM fans would buy it anyway if the rest of the game is good. But you underestimate how many casual gamers care about 3D graphics.
FM24 database update for me this year tbh. Shipping a new title with less features than the previous release, and accompanied by an awful UI design that makes it look like mobile App Store slop.
Luke they literally put match experience last meaning the desperately using all the time they can FM25 Doa stick to 24. Let's just hope they get their act together for 26.
How is this insanity?? I genuinely dont understand how you can have a problem with this. This is literally like a massive amount of new content the only reason you could be upset by this is if you simply dont like women
@meelcoom9761 what's insane is dropping these terrible announcements, delaying the game, showing nothing of the match engine and then being like, 'oh but women's football!' What a load of rubbish. You can hate women's football without hating women too my so stop with the manipulative DEI argument. It is cumbersome and the goalkeeping is terrible. If the game wants to progress they should shorten the pitches, make the goals smaller, stop invading the mens game and constantly moaning about crap pay. Sunday league teams could beat most professional ladies teams.
@@meelcoom9761 Its frustrating if its taken attention away from the core development of the game. Womens football is a feature - its like oh ok I guess some people will play it like multiplayer or something. Most of us wont - its just pointless for us. Fine, whatever. Cool theyve got it I guess. But why is it being labelled as a main selling point? I want to see the game - the UI, the ME etc.
@@meelcoom9761 What a stupid comment. I love women but have absolutely no interest in women's football and am extremely annoyed about the fact that including that in the game means that other features have been dropped - ESPECIALLY considering they have dropped international football which is much more important in women's football than men's football. Talk about an own goal right there! It was always problematic to add women's football in a year when they would change so much else. Waaaaay too much to work on. FM25 should be all about the new interface and match experience, then in FM26 they should include women's football AND a major improvement on international football at the same time. No one would have complained about that.
@@meelcoom9761 I literally watch women's football and wanted to see it in the game at some stage and I'm still annoyed they added it this year when they already had a massive workload. It seemed a bad idea when they announced it, and we've since lost international football which imo is a more important element of the game. They bit off more than they could chew, and some of us called it being a bad idea all the way back when they announced the game.
Why don't they make a separate game that caters to the womans leagues, womans game etc and leave the international stuff in? Why don't they? Because it won't sell so gets shoved in FM and other things get taken away. How many women actually play Football manager?
Because it's even more work. No way they can deliver 2 games even if large parts of them are shared. Money is not the main problem here. It's time and resources.
@@StinkyywinkyGaming yeah for sure. But time is important here. Unless you hire more people it will take more time to make 2 separate games. It doesn’t make sense to release 2 games at all if the second game doesn’t have any earning potential. Maybe in another 20 years women’s football will be big enough to justify a separate game but not anytime soon.
I love how they removed international as only 5.7% played but they are hammering woman's football where no one gives a dam about it less then 1% of your customers are women less then 1% of people watch women football and less than 1% of people want it. I understand creators can say it's a waste of time or they will be cancelled but if I can I'll remove everything about it. I won't watch a rebuild about birds football

I think the reason they add is just to get rid of the controversy it might cause in the future. Something like here you go you woke ass activists happy, now I don't have to worry about you in the next 5 years. Remove weight from interface is annoying thou
@teistensean7227 and maybe it's a way too get woman too play football manager. Woman's football will only grow and with that the interesse in woman's football will only grow if you start now with developing woman's football in your game you can get rid of bugs and it'll be easier voor woman too start too play when they are ready for it.
at least in fm 24 you had sections and you could chose different 'tiles" or things to put in those sections. i have become expert and the attribute chart thing, i know every shape for every type of player i want/need and can almost do the "comparison" that overlays them in my own minds eye now. don't see that anywhere which super disappoints me. the game didn't need women's club teams (who gives to f**ks about womens club soccer, basically the same that care about latvian soccer leagues), it could have just been women's international teams and that would suffice. it didn't need a console/tablet driven UI card redesign ... the email inbox, navgation down the left to different main screens was fine ... it didn't need a game engine overhaul for the actual results or game simulation ... it was a simple thing it needed .... BETTER GRAPHICS ... for gameplay simulation, for faces of newgens, for stadiums for everything ... that was it .. pretty simple ... you could have kept everything else exactly the same and just improved the graphics and it would have been a hit. now i'm pretty worried it is going to suck pretty badly for at least 2-3 years.
No worries, that's when I appreciate I follow youtubers like you with their honest reviews on the game. Probably won't buy it this year, if not having information on the game means that the game is not finished... It is the only reason I can see that we don't have way more informations by now. I've been playing since fm13 when I was like 7 or 8 and fm25 is probably the one I'm not gonna buy luckily I have xbox game pass for both console and PC so give it a try
@@LeafyPeachI think you are underestimating the console version there pal. I have both (prefer PC) but they are powerful machines and FM24 isn’t light versions away from the PC. Customisation aside for skins, face packs etc
Yeah fm24 is already a joke with how easy it is to get top players with small clubs and get offered jobs at biggest clubs in country after one promotion from 4th tier.
@@michaelh878 That can't be true, I literally won the league with Brighton in my very 1st season, applied for about 3/4 of the bigger clubs and didn't get an interview at any of them.

I'm sorry but seriously who cares about managing women's football? Obviously the 4-5 women who play football as a hobby but is that enough to warrant the dev time and costs to it. Another day with DEI nonsense.
Well if we're going down that route, lets stop wasting time having the licensed leagues in places like South Africa, Australia, Gibralta, Latvia etc Realistically hardly anyone will be playing in those leagues so why waste time on them.
@@Mallrat83Photographyhuge difference is that people like playing challenge saves on obscure, lower level leagues. Licensing makes the experience more authentic so this isn't the gotcha you think it is, you're probably going to be among a very small minority interested in women's football. No need to get pressed about it. On the other hand a majority of fm players and football fans in general have zero interest in women's football. It's the same sport but infinitely worse.
@@michaelh878 did you miss my point about no one being interested in the women's game? Look it up, it's a fraction compared to the men's game. No one asked for this. Be happy but don't act like it's in demand. Men's game cannot and should not be compared to women's game. Edit: Should've just made a separate game for women but it probably wouldn't do well at all so ofc lump it in with the men. However I will say I'm not against the addition of women if it doesn't take away from the game in the long run. Just so long as it's a seperate mode.
@@AmyFlannigan27 Well I've played FM since the first CM came out, and I'm looking forward to their being the womens leagues in the game now. Every year I download custom leagues that others have created so I can have leagues from pretty much every country that has one in the world running in the background. So I'm excited to have more options for where I can manage this year.
I play on console, I have no PC, the game is the same thing, I play it with mouse and keyboard. If anything I'm annoyed that console isn't 1 to 1 with PC has it has features missing :/
I would live to see the dindee derby in a rebuild battle as its not happened in the premiership for some time and its a great rivalry. Hope you get to do it
I'll probably buy it, but I'm not pre-ordering or buying on the day (at least with the information I know about right now)! I'm still really enjoying FM24, so no rush from me .....
No international management or shouts to make way for women's football is a pea brained move. Nobody who plays FM asked for women's football to be added.
I think those have more to do with the seith to unity then the addition of womans football they dont really need to change anything for that scouting is the big change
I’d get down the job centre luke! You can see how they are phasing the PC version out for a console version!! It’s very worrying I think they’ve ruined it!
I think everyone is worried and SI have done very little to ease that concern. The fact that no BETA being announced is the biggest tell tale that there are genuine concerns from SI about this. FM25 has been worked on for 2 years with additional resources being brought in during that time and the fact we're 2 months from launch and there are obvious issues does not bode well. I'm quite pragmatic that for years people have asked for a major overhaul in UI, ME and graphics and when that happened, it was always going to take time to get it right due to the level we have come to expect for the FM series. I think we may have to take this one on the chin and may have a "complete" functioning game by March but I think the first 5 months of this release is going to be an absolute car crash.
Soi watch a few content creators and all seem to be saying the same of course we should never judge a book by it's cover and wait till we get our teeth stuck in but Ive being playing football manger since it was called championship manager and yes they have added excellent stuff over the years. I'm not so bothered they have removed international management it is what it is but from the screen shots I'm very worried like Luke says there is so much empty space on those screen shots and the text could be bigger and there very well might be a way to make the font bigger I just hope they haven't over complicated things by giving us info we don't actually need or use day in day out. But like I said I will reserve judgement till I start playing but I have a big knot in my stomach about the game just show us something.
I've been playing football/championship manager since 1997 and I've never ever seen so much negativity about a version of the game before its come out The likes of yourself, zealand, workthespace etc, virtually every content creator is expressing concerns, which says a lot to me I'll be honest, I've enjoyed fm24 and unless I see a reason to change, I'll be sticking to it This seems like a beta version for fm25 if I'm being brutally honest
The womens game should not be the focus. It is not comparable to the men's game and even a save on a womens game will have limited interest. People don't even know current players, why would they care about newgens? If you get an offer from a low level mens game and one too team from womens game, you're likely to still choose the mens team. Plus giving women players similar levels to male players is a joke, irl they're not even close.
The women's attributes are relative to other female footballers, not in comparison to men. Men and women do not play against each other, so their attributes would not be measured on the same scale. A 20 attribute on a female doesn't mean it's the same 20 as a male player.
@@JimmyO90 for anyone playing though, it will be the same. A 20 is a 20. Plus with bugs, it's so obvious that it will crossover. So, you are saying that the women's game will not have wonder goals and be full of defensive errors? I don't think so.
I’m going into this expecting FM24 to be the last great FM as we know it. If FM25 is good it’ll be a nice surprise but the new engine, new interface and licensing all looks catered to console/mobile players to me.
A preference for me would be that when setting up your game, you are able to toggle tile view or the old style view, and this could be changed within the game settings throughout a save. I think it is still early days, yet I just hope that a full game is released, and if not, then the sale price should reflect that of an early release game. Let's face it some early access games are really good, some however are not worth the money. I guess we will see.
For Football Manager Mobile, they should improve it so that when I go on holiday, my assistant manager does not change my assigned starting lineup (and tactics) on matchday whilst I am away that game. Also, they should expand this holiday system further, so that I can set who comes as a substitute for who when a fielded player's fatigue percentage dips below a certain number. Holidays are important when you are going for the 30 seasons achievement.
I think they have been promoting the women's database heavily to distract people from the fact that the game is going to be underdeveloped this year due to the game being reworked.
I totally agree with your assessment Luke, and I feel for you as a content creator and livelihood if it’s gonna be this shit looking. Fingers crossed it will be ok. I will swerve this season as I enjoy 24 so much, but will still watch the videos you make regardless. Keep up the good work pal
Completely understand your view's on the UI. Minimal, Clean, Sleek, and completely bland and unappealing. I was really hoping for some good news today, but this is probably the biggest letdown, with how interested people were to see something new, and then they got almost nothing.
When they announced FM25 last year I thought it might be buggy and I should leave buying it until the last minute or at least until I was sure about it. I know one thing today, I will not buy if there is no beta. I'll wait for FM26.
Thank you for your honesty on this Luke. The position you’re in, it would be easy to pretend everything is fine. But you haven’t and I respect that a lot.
The biggest red flag open to preorders before showing any content of the game. I will buy it only I like what I see not going in blind with this one lol
The forced message had already been heard a while ago by SI. Now, the message has been fully integrated. Sports Interactive (FM) is now officially dead.
The new graphics engine isn't really that important to me. I guess it's nice, but I play on a MacBook Pro, this is going on low quality every time so it runs smoothly. I don't think the UI looks that bad, but I also don't really see the justification of moving engines at the minute. The small text is a concern though. If they do want to bring in a larger audience, they have to make things easier to read and it doesn't seem like they're doing that. I'm incredibly excited for women's football, love to see better inclusion and I can;t wait to do a career with them. It's a great way for people to get to know the women's game. But its just not justifying that price tag really for me. With all the skins and databases out for FM24, you could just stick with it really. I also hate what its doing to the content creation space right now, where Zealand and now this channel feeling a little concerned and wondering why so little is being shown (quite rightly). Many like myself came over to FM to get away from the drama and fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants releases of FIFA. And it sucks that its starting to feel that way.
We have to remember FM didn't release much information at first last year, and from memory they've never given much info until a few weeks before release for games before that. Last year we got a trailer that didn't show much at all, just like the trailer for FM 25. Then they did the road map where from the 18th September they gave weekly updates about improvements or features in the game up until the release date. So right now, we are in the same position we were in last year.
Yeah, it's the fact they haven't shown anything on the Unity engine at this point and not gotten any of their community of creators involved in the process to give feedback on it that is a concern. Although also, I guess this is my excuse to do a big Day 1 stream with it, since the game launches on my birthday. 😂
you have to give them some credit mate....it's a game they created from scratch and they may still be having issues till this point of it...we'll just have to give them the benefit of doubt
I don’t see any issues and the upside going to unity is massive. I think we have to wait and reserve judgement for later if needed at all. It’s time for a change!
I personally would have been happy with another year of FM24 with an updated data base so they could get everything spot on 🤷♂️ just watched the whole video…Luke we pay good money every year for basically the same game! We’re entitled to shit on the game 😂
I would have rather the FM team focus on the engine, graphics, and computer team building as the save progresses. I am fine with certain features being cut but then adding new features that don't enhance the game play seems like a bad plan. I think it would be cool to start using womens teams and building new teams I have played but I think FM team might have missed with this.
The standard player, who does not make their living from the game, doesn't care about women's football. Unless they already follow it (very much a minority), they won't play it. People play FM to take over their favourite club, players and get themselves titles where it wouldn't be possible. The entire push for women's football over International football is a mistake, it's not what anyone called for.
I’ve been playing management games since Ultimate Soccer Manager 1998/1999. I was just six years old! I miss the classics, to be very honest. Championship Manager 03/04… what I would do for a game that could measure up to that! Such a shame and a sad state of affairs!
I would love to see the how the womens rebuild views do against the men's ones. To lead with that is a little worrying it should all be about the match engine for me!! as for for the interface don't get me fooking started
It is a strange 'announcement' this... Plenty of times in the last ten years I've blindly pre-ordered FM as soon as it is listed without knowing much about the new features; plenty of times I've been burned by other games that have promised much and under-delivered... In a way it's refreshing to see a developer announce the tough calls they have made before putting the game on sale, but at the same time, it creates that fear that this is going to be a skippable year for the non-hardcore fan
how many new players SI believes that woman's football will attrack? I think SI moves in a wrong direction here. One more thing , i don't know Fran Kirby i don't know her carreer but this screenshot of her attribute is a little OP i think ..
£44.99 for the Demo to FM26. One of the few that often did challenges involving International management. A pretty much empty road map. I normally give the FM series a miss every other year as normally very little changes between them, the only real difference between FM23 to FM24 was rich Saudi clubs which is a database change. Definitely giving this a wide berth playing wise but will be watching the content.
Miles should have been giving his 'loyal' supporters discount for years, but nope, the guy 'milks' it each year, and his 'loyal' supporters 'buy' into it each year (as do myself), with very little in return. Let's be honest, it's been the same game for last 4 years (at least), all charging us at full price ;) This year, Miles will not be getting my money, and will be the first since 2008. I suspect I won't be losing out on that?, and I also suspect, they will be upping prices more :) Good luck!
I've played from CM2 on the Amiga since 1997, given how bad CM4 was done and pushed out regardless of it's issues (I assume because of financial pressures), it's kind of reassuring they've pushed back the release date. I'm fairly confident the game will be fine, the visual of the match engine probably will upset people who had high expectations of a graphical overhaul. Yes FM25 seems disappointingly presented on the UI in general. For the first time, I probably won't pre-order and see how it goes via reviews and streams.
Hopefully by releasing the game at the end of November it will buy them enough time to hear all of you Creators feedbacks and make some tweaks. Agree a lot with the size of the text & space (not) being used on screens - hopefully they can make that a relatively quick and easy change before release. The fact they have got a stat wrong on a screenshot they released worries me... i am looking forward to the men/women crossover, however i worry about what it may do for the requirement of memory size etc required. And as you mention, i hope the simulation "settings" are similar to those on FM24 - i like to try and get through a season in around 5 or so days. Kind of excited, kind of not

Not a fan ofthe new UI, there's so much wasted real estate and it's clearly optimized for consoles. Reminds me of the abomination of Windows 8. Npt a fan of that new logo either.
You're so right, not only is fm ""console" not a thing anymore,,fm 25 on pc has controller support according to steam
Utter woke nonsense.
FM24 is actually really good aswell.
feel exactly the same hate how they're dumbing the game down
@@david25201 I've been playing since CM 3. (98/99). All i can think of is the scene/meme from Godfather. "Look at what they did to my boy".

Its got less features, and is gonna cost more, right
I think i remember it costing 40 pound last year and it costs that this year. I wouldnt say its got less features either. And the upgrade to unreal engine 5 should improve graphics massively
It just looks dull. Why cant it incoroprate the club colours into the interface like the older titles?
Correct. It’s lifeless

Miles needs to hand the reigns over to someone younger less angry and will bring new ideas. This just screams we need to stall them
I'm not getting good vibes about the new game
Looks like I might be down your way for new year
Did Sweet Baby Inc infiltrated SI?
Saying this is concerning is understatement.
oh god, dont dare jinx it!
Dumbing the game down for the normies. Wont be buying this year.
What would make sense in my mind would be give it two modes. Classic for returning players and simple for new ones.
trying to convert the Fifa sheep
Essentially yes, don't mean to sound like an elitist prick but football manager will lose what makes it football manager.
Probably just worth playing the console version for "free" on gamepass next year.
It seems from my perspective that it's more organized that simplified. Also if it was simplified why would you include Off Ball tactics.
Crafty company’s these days want you to pre order first then put the rest of the useless features up
It actually looks worse than the standard FM24 Skin. I hope this game easily modded. Then we can just make our own skins. Like we all have for past few years.
Im someone who is happy with the default fm24 one, but this new fm25 looks terrible. I don’t how they’re managing to do this
Modding will be less. They have closer and closer links with the PL who do not want Mods.
Devs spent too much time on womens game at the cost of cutting the main game modes..lets be honest maybe 10% of players might use the womens leauges and thats being generous its likely less then that. So why waste time and money on it.. international managment should have been improves but nope they cut it instead.. really not sure ill bother picking this one up and its a damn shame i havent touched fifa since fm came to consoles not even been tempted too but yeah maybe time to go back to that
The percentage players might be high cause a lot of people that don't care about women's football probably won't buy it this year
Fifa looks a lot better than fm with how they've updated tactics 😂
There is no evidence that the people working on the women's game would have been working on the parts removed.

Sunday league to ucl sounds like a fun idea tbh🤣
same lol. i could not care any less about women's footy if i tried
I ratcher watch curling than female football lol
This really could be the end, mates. I think Luke's first point is on target: they're making everything "simpler" for the newer/younger generation of consumers. The minimal look would also support this. Miles has been trying to really make this game massive -as opposed to niche and detailed as it is today- for a while now. I just worry the true essence of the game will fade. Perhaps not now, but in a few years, they will make this game a whole new level of "streamlined". The tablet-console look is a dead giveaway.
It’s becoming more like FIFA, and that’s exactly why I and many others came to FM in the first place
It looks pish
Same.
Don’t forget that they increased the price!
Luke they literally put match experience last meaning the desperately using all the time they can FM25 Doa stick to 24. Let's just hope they get their act together for 26.
Not excited by the women's football in fm whatsoever. They seem to have made that their main selling point. Insanity.
They bit off more than they could chew, and some of us called it being a bad idea all the way back when they announced the game.
UI seems awuful from what we've seen. They made this beautiful game into a generic console shitshow.
@@nicktankard1244which time and resources cost money 😂
They won't make a separate game because it won't sell enough units to justify it. It will just piggyback on the men's game.

games gonna be shit sticking to my free fm24
at least in fm 24 you had sections and you could chose different 'tiles" or things to put in those sections. i have become expert and the attribute chart thing, i know every shape for every type of player i want/need and can almost do the "comparison" that overlays them in my own minds eye now. don't see that anywhere which super disappoints me.
the game didn't need women's club teams (who gives to f**ks about womens club soccer, basically the same that care about latvian soccer leagues), it could have just been women's international teams and that would suffice. it didn't need a console/tablet driven UI card redesign ... the email inbox, navgation down the left to different main screens was fine ... it didn't need a game engine overhaul for the actual results or game simulation ... it was a simple thing it needed ....
He probably already has a job that he does while also playing this game.
I've been playing football/championship manager since 1997 and I've never ever seen so much negativity about a version of the game before its come out
The likes of yourself, zealand, workthespace etc, virtually every content creator is expressing concerns, which says a lot to me
I'll be honest, I've enjoyed fm24 and unless I see a reason to change, I'll be sticking to it
This seems like a beta version for fm25 if I'm being brutally honest
18:51 First time hearing him cuss 😂😂!!
I think at the moment I'll probably skip FM25, stick to 24... it'll be the first CM/FM I've skipped since 1998.
UI looks trash. Loads of empty space, bland backgrounds, no height visible on player info screen. Just looks trash.

There is no vision anymore, anonymous devs mediocrity all around. Thats the times we live in. Mediocrity everywhere.
I prefer the old skins and menu set up from the older football manager games like fm08 they looked great tidy and less messy to date games
It looks like a mobile version, appealing to console players and bringing in new players who are put off by the current depth of the game.
As long as the women's database is optional and I can just choose to not load it, I've no problems with it being in the game
Will be definitely waiting mate.. but 2 months Is such a long time compared to other fm's let's hope it comes good 🙏
Spot on Luke seems like they got console players in mind when designing this UI not a fan of this I'm worried for this fm.
The forced message had already been heard a while ago by SI. Now, the message has been fully integrated. Sports Interactive (FM) is now officially dead.
Ima be real… ima wait till is free on epic again. And continue to play 24 tbh.

@@Mallrat83Photography In all fairness, last year wasn’t an engine change and touted as a ‘big step forward’
Downside you mean, unity is fucked

I would have rather the FM team focus on the engine, graphics, and computer team building as the save progresses. I am fine with certain features being cut but then adding new features that don't enhance the game play seems like a bad plan. I think it would be cool to start using womens teams and building new teams I have played but I think FM team might have missed with this.
Thanks for the honesty and integrity. Appreciated.
Even their new football looks like a volleyball Haha
Doesn’t even say what year you are on in top right
The standard player, who does not make their living from the game, doesn't care about women's football. Unless they already follow it (very much a minority), they won't play it.
People play FM to take over their favourite club, players and get themselves titles where it wouldn't be possible.
The entire push for women's football over International football is a mistake, it's not what anyone called for.
Amario Cozier Duberry is not a newgen looool
I’ve been playing management games since Ultimate Soccer Manager 1998/1999. I was just six years old! I miss the classics, to be very honest. Championship Manager 03/04… what I would do for a game that could measure up to that! Such a shame and a sad state of affairs!
Mine was Kevin keegan on the snes I cant remember how old I was
@@abcdefg3214you beat me to it. I had Keegan player manager!
Fran Kirby is 5 ft 2 in (1.57 m)
Reckon I'll be giving 25 a miss and play 24 until 26 comes out
£44.99 for the Demo to FM26.
Let's be honest, it's been the same game for last 4 years (at least), all charging us at full price ;)
This year, Miles will not be getting my money, and will be the first since 2008. I suspect I won't be losing out on that?, and I also suspect, they will be upping prices more :) Good luck!
I have never used a custom skin, can't see why it would make much difference... can anyone enlighten me to what i am missing?
B4 they even did pre orders we should have a had video of what it’s gonna look like especially with a new engine.
I don't mind the look of the UI just can't see anything different yet, is it really an new era of football manager ? To early to say
