Yall I thought she JUST announced she was pregnant how is the baby already here 😂
same!!! i just watched pancake date night with ariel very pregnant and now the baby's here 😂
RIGHT
but she announced it like quite long into the pregnancy right? cuz usually for the first idk how many weeks you may have a miscarriage and Ariel had one before this
Exactly what I was thinking!!
I fell the saaaaaaame😭❤️😊
I think Ned should recreate Ariels labor with Finn the way he did with Wes lol.
YES!!!!
THROUGH THE PAIN, THROUGH THE PAIN
It's really only fair 🤣
If you want a lie in, my mum taught us how to read the clock (specifically 7am) and that was when we could go wake her up. We could play in our rooms or dress up whatever we wanted, but we weren’t allowed to leave the baby proofed room until 7am and that meant she could sleep in a bit longer.
that is so smart i love that lmao
We got an alarm clock from Amazon that you set a time they are allowed to be up and it turns Green for the little ones so they know if it's red they have to stay in their rooms if it's green they can come wake up mommy.
my parents had a little sun lamp in my room that would automatically light it self at 6 am. and only when the light was on was I allowed to leave. and wake them up.
@@kennedisly8210 I think i had one of those. My parents set it to like 7: 30 and until then we had to stay in our rooms, the only thing we could let for was the bathroom. This brings back so much nostalgia!
Can we talk about how radiant Ariel looks after having Finn!!!! She is glowing!
I was pregnant at the same time as Ariel when she was pregnant with Wes then after seeing the announcement that she’s pregnant I found out im pregnant again as well😅
Are you due soon?
Congratulations in advance

Probably not because he just left the womb and there's a pandemic going on
@@cthenerd2022 he's pretty small and just out of the NICU too...
Wes and Finn will get along until Finn starts to play with Wes' toys.....head up
I had my second baby in July. Huge difference from my first delivery. With my first I delivered at a hospital, and had the traditional, "On your back, legs up," delivery. I wasn't delivered by my doctor, and the doctor who did handle my delivery misclassified my tear and sewed me up improperly leaving me with a hole in the perineum. I couldn't use the bathroom without the peri bottle for an entire year after. It was awful. With baby 2, because of the Pandemic I decided to deliver with a midwife in a birth center. Unfortunately my labor progressed so quickly that I ended up delivering in the parking lot of the birth center (which apparently happens more often than you would think). Even with laboring 100% of the time in the car and delivering standing up in a parking lot it was a significantly better experience than birthing in a hospital. Afterward I walked inside and delivered the placenta and did the rest of my aftercare at the birth center. I was released 3 hours later. It was a night and day difference from my hospital experience and I will absolutely never go back to a hospital for a low risk birth again.
So I work at a preschool and I made a mistake when I took a kid to the bathroom once. He’s pretty capable and independent and he’s potty training so I let him do the whole process by himself and trusted everything was A-okay. What happened was he didn’t push his wee wee down and half an hour later his shirt was wet and no one knew why. I took him to change his shirt and when the shirt came off... there it was... peeking out the top of his pants.
I love how open and honest Ned is about his NICU experience.
Absolutely the best part about baby #2 was having figured out the nighttime routine. We did it so wrong the first time and we were exhausted. With our son, we handled it so much better. Even with a 15 mo old to care for as well, we still felt so much more rested that go around.
And sleep makes SUCH a difference.
The fight about the shower was hilarious!!
This was so cool to hear! I'm a pediatric resident in NYC and go to deliveries like yours left and right. It's so awesome to hear everything from your perspective!! Congratulations!!! Welcome baby Finn!
Have been following your journey as I have progressed with my own pregnancy and everytime you upload an update, it's accurately where I've been at in my pregnancy. And you upload this a day after I give birth as well?! Perfect timing. Our girl Iylah came at 38 and in a very surprising way, went from 2cm to delivery of placenta in 25 minutes 😂 Congratulations and all the best 🥳🎉
I’m now waiting for Keith and Becky to have kids
Ariel seeing anyone not wearing a mask: I GAVE BIRTH WITH A MASK ON, YOU CAN WEAR ONE IN THE DAMN GAS STATION!

I just bought my dad home from the hospital, he had pneumonia for the 2nd time this year. Hes battling cancer. Going back to sleep WHILE having contractions is the most BOSS move I can’t even deal
My mom did that, active labor at home, daddy to mom to the hospital, she got checked in and her labor backed off ..... she was already a couple days past due date so the doctor said to keep her, she settled in for the night and went to sleep ........ mom said the next thing she knew she said she was dreaming that someone was hugging her real tight and grunting ..... it was mom having a contraction and her grunting , so loudly, that the nurses at the nursing station heard her and came running ...... mom said when they checked her my brother's head was coming out .......
Whoa Nellie! That’s insane!
I, on the other hand, did that with my first because I woke up to contractions at 4:30am & it felt uncomfortable like lower-back period cramps. I went to my parents’ shop & slept in the back while waiting for someone to cover my mom’s shift & so she could take me to the hospital. My mom says that while I was sleeping, she could see how my baby was moving. She took forever to be born!
I periodically napped all the way to 8 cm when I then had to get rolled back for an emergency c section. Labor makes a shawty tired 😂
Im sprry to be that guy but...contractions**

Like, there are people out there going through 12+ hour labors, 4 hour surgeries, and the doctors/surgeons/nurses? Wearing a mask for a full shift for literal decades. If these people can do it, why can't Susan wear a mask to get groceries?
No one should have to wear a mask giving birth. The hospitals have N95 masks to protect the doctors and nurses this is ridiculous. This shouldn't be something to praise.
@@honeyfurfarm2182 10 months in and you still don't know how masks work. Because Covid is a disease that presents no symptoms or signs when first infected, you can have it for weeks without noticing. So you wear a mask to protect others in case you have, and they should do the same for you. The mask doesn't protect the individual. It helps, but not by much. It's purpose is to prevent the spread on the chance that you're asymptomatic. Because you never know, you need to wear a mask around others at all times. That's why the doctor wearing a mask just isn't enough. Everyone has to do their part to stop the spread of covid.
@@allisonyoung9371 So I work at a hospital and I'm just here to let you know other patients are not required to wear a mask even if they test positive for covid. Patients are kept in their rooms, doors shut, and if they are positive and the nurses/ techs/ doctors etc wear N95 masks to protect themselves along with gowns and gloves around those patients. The hospital workers have masks that are designed to protect the staff from viruses and bacteria. I used to wear them when I would clean rooms with tuberculosis. Forcing someone that is in labor to wear a mask is ridiculous and unnecessary. The nurses and doctors already have to wear masks so why make the patient wear one when they could be wearing N95 masks? Giving birth while having your face covered or giving birth alone which has been the case in many of these hospitals is not proper patient care. Being uncomfortable or scared is one of the reasons many womens struggle to give birth and have their labor stall or stop all together which prolongs their hospital stay and exponentially increases complications which can lead to a C section or other dangerous situations. It might not seem like a big deal to some people but when most patients are tested going into the hospital and the staff have resources that make it so the woman could be more comfortable and have an easier stress free labor why wouldn't they use those resources? Its all just blanket regulations that have no space for nuance and its negatively impacting patients. Its not ok.
i had 4 days of labor with a mask on. people can suck it up for a grocery trip.
Ariel gave birth to a tiny human wearing a mask, Ariel: 1 Karen: nil

That's so cute! My bro age gap with me is just a year and we constantly fight with each other when we were younger lol
Tara Moran Me and my brother are 4 years apart, and he wanted to name me Ugly, asked the nurse to take me away and put me in a closet, tried to sell me to his friend/our neighbor kid for $.0.40, tried convincing my parents that I wasn’t actually their kid, and that they should leave me on the side of the road so my Big Foot family could find me, also suggested I should be left in our grandparents horse barns, and literally tried putting me in a box because he heard about Moses at Sunday school, and got the idea that if he put me in a box and put me in the little creek behind our house, that I’d float off to some other family. Like..we’ve always been mortal enemies lol. When I was a little kid, this older boy hit me and my brother tackled him. Afterwards, everyone was like “aw that’s so sweet! He defended his little sister!” And he legit goes “no, I’m just the only one who gets to hit her!”. 😑😂
My sister is 3 years older than me, and I've been told she was very protective of me, no matter what I did she always defended me and took the blame for the naughty things I did as a toddler. We didn't really get along as teenagers... there were no fights or anything like that, we just had nothing in common at all, we weren't really friends then, and then as adults we are very good friends.
my brother and i are were 4 years apart and he wouldn’t ever leave me alone! my mom would have to tell him to stop, because i would be getting up to walk and he would come over and give me a bunch of kisses and knock me down! ur brother was rlly sweet with u though, i hope to god when i have kids they’re like that too

I was about 2 when I met my little sister too and the first time I saw her I smacked her in the forehead
Yep, my little brother is 2 years and 3 days younger and I totally bit his cheek when he was teeny. Toddlers can be little monsters.
Lol, my friend (who at the time was 3) kicked her baby bro the first time she saw him 😂😭
Omg 😂
Dang, I was like 1 when my little brother was born- I don’t think I even wanted to see him or anyone at the time, at least that’s what my mum told me
“She took her time getting ready” SHE WAS IN LABOR YOU MONSTER
like fr at that point i was like NED WTF
and the. when he said ‘the contractions weren’t too bad at that point’ and his wife was considering an EPIDURAL
I think it was actually Ariel’s choice, since this is her 2nd baby. From what I’ve heard, giving birth is easier the second time, so she’s probably not too, too worried like she was with Wes.
Ariel had an unmedicated birth and she did it with a mask on! What a badass
Yay baby!!!
Congrats on being a family of four 💚
Labor was shorter than Ned's shower...that's fabulous!
omg hearing them talk about how wes asks to see finn has me tearing up, he's so sweet and polite. ned and ariel are the best parents ever
same, it also reminds me of seeing my little brothers for the first time. That's such a great moment
Ned looks exhausted and Ariel looks bright eye and bushy tailed! Lol
She's actually delirious 🤣
“In retrospect, did not have time to take a shower”
That was such a good punchline hahahahahah
The way you describe Wes acting around Finn is the cutest thing I've heard. It is really touching my heaet when you explain how he asks for permission to hold his hand and love/hug him.
I love the background comments from Rachel and Miles
I'd love a background camera. Just for Miles reactions 😂
@@nelegrubrus7423 same
Haha I second that
A mermaid named her child after a fish arm
They are the children of a vampire and a mermaid
(Cause ned's name is Edward )
Ned's hoodie looks so sick
couldn't take my eyes off lol
You can get it at tryguys.com lol
We use just two fingers to measure the cervix and 10 cm isn’t specifically 10 cm but when there isn’t anymore cervix around the head. Congrats guys!!!!
Hehehe as a student midwife I was going "no no it's not four fingers!!" 😂
2 fingers is right (from a student nurse).
