i really wish you were my next door neighbor so i could sit out on the porch with you and get a daily banjo lesson and maybe i can finally learn how to play the clawhammer style picking. Thank you for keeping me inspired to learn.
@@BanjoRose_down-picker Yes, I do! It seems to me that most songs and/or styles sound better on one banjo than on another. The clawhammer style songs sound better on my Pisgah open back banjo, and most of the songs I play with finger picks sound better on my resonator banjo. I keep one banjo strung with heavier gauge strings so I can tune it down a couple of steps, as some songs sound really good in a lower register.
Music to start the day. Cup of coffee on back porch. Call grand kids.

What formed after plane crash that took too much talent
Hey Banjo Granny, this is Banjo Rose, I was just wondering if you change your banjo depending on the type of music that you're playing in.
@@BanjoRose_down-picker Yes, I do! It seems to me that most songs and/or styles sound better on one banjo than on another. @@banjogranny9156 Yeah that's sad. To me the Strum Machine is hard to understand. My daddy is getting me a mechanical metronome to help me.
I admire your skill, Granny; your melody always enhances my mood ❤🩹
