If you have oil leaks around gaskets use semisynthetic it help swell up gaskets sysintheic oil will not work like the other

My 2010 RPM idle high on 6 to 7 for over 100 miles using twice as much gas.when i ran out i put more in it and it was like nothing happened.
Any answers?

Hard to say without looking at the vehicle. Could be a throttle body got stuck and has to be cleaned / replaced
