Okayyyy, from a fellow Parisian :
- Stand on the RIGHT in the escalators if you aren't actually walking up them
- Stay CLEAR of the metro 13 (it's like the B, but worse)
- Careful phones on the metro 1
- check the websites sortir à paris and timeout for upcoming events/exhibits/recs
- There are lots of cool summer spots that are closing soon so make the best out of the good weather !! For example there's the Mazette bar-boat
- Parc des buttes chaumont for a picnic >>>>>>

Omg we live on the same campus!! instead of the RER, the metro line 4 is pretty reliable to get to the center and comes every 2 minutes 😊

Just started to watch the video - I've been living in Paris since March and I would definitely recommend going to Le Marais + 5th arrondisement for a nice outing with friends!

Also I saw in the vid that you missed the train (guessing the RER) I would recommend to get to central Paris you actually take the metro at Porte d’orleans it usually is faster and trains come every 5 mins

100% I'm in intermediate 1 and I can get by really easily. Lowk if you just know how to phrase questions and conjugate the verbs avoir, etre, vouloir, pouvoir you can get by A LOT
