Thanks Mark we believe the owner Mrs Chewett gifted Urquhart Castle to the National Trust for Scotland in 2003 and it's now operated by Historic Scotland. Between the two organisations they appear to be doing a great job.
Hi George, Yes non-members are able to book on but it would be cheaper as a member to do so. Membership is from £42 a year and does represent a great cost saving. However you enjoy our sites we hope you get the pitch you want.

Urquhart Caste has nothing to do with the National Trust for Scotland. It is a Historic Scotland Site.
