This is a very valuable producing lesson. Carve out a space ( frequency) in the mix just for the voice to sit

God bless you for your content! I'm planning to hit the streets next summer, this will be my first time busking so I'm really nervous about it. I already have shure sm58 and cube ex, what's left to do is build my repertoire and improve my singing skills. Are there any necessary-to-know songs you could suggest me learning?

Thankyou ! This was a game changer as I use a fender acoustasonic 40 and am too cheap to rent a better dual amp for xmas parties I am booked at XD....almost at full volume and the knob settings made all the difference!

Thank you for this super helpful video. You have a beautiful voice and I appreciate the busking tips. What is your usual volume setting when you busk? I know you said it depends where you are but I’m wondering for you personally. Your sound quality in your busking videos is always perfect. I have the exact same amp as you and I’m new at busking and I busk on the Venice Beach boardwalk in California where it’s always loud and I put the amp at half volume like you have in this video but it’s hard for me to hear myself for some reason and I still end up singing loud and hurting my throat. But then I worry if I put the amp louder then I will be too loud and people will complain? I want to know what your volume setting is when you busk. Thanks.
