I haven't commented on this yet, but I have watched it nearly 100 times. This is the best version I have ever heard, and the hand motions are so good. I really liked the part where they did nothing except the hand motions. That part was so spine tingling. Very good job.
What is the meaning? No grave to hold my body down? It is referring to the resurrection, when Jesus Christ comes back to judge the living and the dead. Those who believe in the Lord Jesus will be caught up in the skies with Him and go on to Heaven, those who are still dead in their sins will be resurrected to judgement, and they will be sent into hell for their sins. The thing is, we have all sinned - lying, stealing, lusting, fornicating - and fallen short of the glory of God. We deserve punishment for our crimes against God, but in His mercy and grace, He sent Jesus, His Son, yet God. Jesus Christ died in our place on the cross, for our sins, and He was buried, on the third day He rose again. But by faith we must accept this. Those who have accepted Jesus' gift of eternal life, through His death and resurrection, will now have a hope - forgiveness for their sins by faith in Jesus. As Jesus rose from the grave, so now will we who believe in Him - no grave will hold my body down, but I will resurrect to my Saviour, Jesus Christ, to an eternal life with Him. That is the meaning. But I would say, it is also true. So please think about these things - the grave will not hold your body down either, but your eternity will be in punishment, or in joy with the Saviour.
thank you for singing it in the right style.... its not a classicle piece and you didnt pretend it was. so thank you!!!!!!
Wish they looked more into it

Really good! Really clean, maybe with a little more expression though
Altos!
You are good! A fairly hard song, getting even harder by doing those movements. Bravo!
My choirs doing this song this year! I can't wait to learn it all!
This is me now. I’m literally secretary of this choir now and that is wild to me
AWESOME!
wow... 3:40-3:53 is so powerful! for those of us who can hear, let us identify with those who can't(:
Beautifully sing!
Nicely done
well done! this happens to be a favorite song of mine to be sung by a choir and this was beautiful!
I love this song got to sing it my junior year in high school
This is wonderful! Is this the official ASL for the song? I need to learn by Monday and this is the only one where I can see all the signing.
Thanks!
thats make me cry its beautiful
My choirs director would be saying "not enough opera girls!" lol were pretty competitive though
what it the name of this director.. he is glorious!
uhuh sure..... that would be pretty damn hard because they did a pretty great job!
You guys sound really good there just is very little movement that makes it look like you don't enjoy it. A little to operatic for me
I love this song but they changed the words. It isn’t bad that they did and I can see why but I find it interesting that they did.
And I won’t say where
Keep a sister underground? Most treble choirs sing it this way
