Son Goku vs. Prince Vegeta Remake

- So after almost a year of not posting anything, I was recently rewatching my first Goku vs. Vegeta video and was randomly inspired lol. I figured that since Son Goku vs. Vegeta was my very first Flash sprite battle animation, that remaking it would be the best way to see how far I've advanced in skill since then. Although, I gotta be honest, I finished this animation like 5 months ago lol, so I guess this doesn't really count as my "true" skill. Anyone who saw the original version on TheSpritas.com will probably notice that I made a few small changes to it.
It was a very annoying process of getting this damn thing uploaded lol. First I had my bud Redheadhenry convert it for me. Then after he did, my dumb ass computer catches a virus and I lose the converted file he sent me. So after a while, another friend of mine, Nintendostar, converted it for me again. Everything was perfect, but since my virus, I was for some reason unable to download the programs I needed for sound editing. So I tried WMM and it destroyed the quality tremendously. So a few days ago, I just tried to convert it with my old Moyea program, and it converted perfectly (aside from the watermark lol), and even when I used WMM, it hardly effected the quality....then I just jumped out of my chair and yelled WTF MAN!!!! lmao.
This is not the virtual entirety of the vid, as there's a part before their SSJ battle, and a special ending that are excluded. Hopefully at some point, I'll be able to use the converted files from Nintendostar, and reupload the perfect version of this animation. Till then, be happy with what you got lol.
One last thing. For those who were wondering, Ichigo Kurosaki vs. Sasuke Uchiha (The Finale) is in the process of being animated. However it will be quite some time before it is done, as I'm busy with this nifty little thing I like to call "Life" lmao, so unfortunately I can't devote as much time into it, as I'd like. You can check on my channel for updates on the video's progress. If anyone doesn't read this description and says "Where's Ichigo vs. Sasuke Part 2??? I want it NOW!!!!", I will track you down just to kick you in the balls lmao......no....seriously........
I'll be releasing a small Teaser Trailer for Ichigo vs. Sasuke very soon, so keep an eye out for it.

This animation was totally fucking nuts way back in 2010. Really good choreography, pacing, and effect use. Still holds up extremely well to this day.

Seriously, coming back to this in 2019 it can compete with or Is better than a lot if the Sprite battles I've seen in recent years. This guy has a so much talent and it sucks he never stuck around.
We need you back. This is a regular rewatch for me. There's so many note worthy moments this I could write an essay on it. But out of all the Dragon ball fights, in anime or sprites, that dash sequence at 2:41 is still one of the greatest things I've ever seen ever. 2020 and still one of the cleanest fights out.
This still holds its place as one of the most epic battles!!!

@asteroid287 Yeah, I could of had this posted a long time ago, if I had enough free time. Glad to see there's people that have an understanding of that. It's refreshing, really. I'm also glad you liked it, I appreciate the compliment. You're definitely one of the high level animators, so I'm glad you enjoyed it, since you know what to look for in a good animation. And I agree, we should definitely do a collab at some point. That would be beast lol.

@exgecko It's called the Multi-Form Technique. All of the original Z Fighters are capable of it. Goku, Krillin, Piccolo, Tien, and I think Yamcha as well have all been able to use it since as far back as Dragon Ball (long before DBZ). Since the Saiyan Saga ended, we were never shown the technique again (not until the Cell Saga atleast), but I assure you Goku is capable of it. The entire Naruto manga/anime didn't even exist at this time lol.

This was awesome indeed, the fight, the environment uses, the animation, the closeups, the camera changes. Sprit fights are limited, but you did a great job there!

I saw this on the spritas and I just couldn't wait until you uploaded it to youtube with music. Great Job on the video. This and Sasuke Vs. Ichigo are my 2 favorite sprite battles out there. Keep it up and don't get bothered by people rushing you. I'm positive this took you a while. I know this because I'm trying to make one myself and it takes some time. Plus we have school. Just take it slow with Sasuke vs Ichigo. Maybe finish Hollow Invasion part 2 then go back to it. P.S. Go Ichigo!

Hey, Ive been huge fan of SMBZ for a long time, since the 3rd episode came out. The reason I said that was because of every single effect used in this video is what makes it so great. I may have exaggerated before tho.
Between the camera angles, battle scene ideas, and small effects like dirt, rocks, and "movement lines", he make the video very intense. By movement lines, I mean the lines that are shown, for example, when vegeta flies toward goku at the beginning. Its used in anime alot.
This animation is pretty sick dude. I like it alot. You're in the same league as Theredheadhenry.
@ShuhanX Oh and I forgot to say, this is the best DBZ sprite animation I've ever seen, GREAT job man, really, it's like, this is the only one that wasn't all blasting and shit, and it was truly interesting, the only one that reminded me of the DBZ I used to like, thanks for making it!
