- This is my very first sprite battle with flash. This vid is actually quite old, as I finished it about a month after I downloaded Flash. That said, I hope you enjoy it! Please comment and rate.....
Ok, since I am getting asked the same question repeatedly regarding the Galick Gun sprites, I'll make it easy on myself and tell everyone where and how to get them. First get a mugen program called ''Fighter Factory". There is a tutorial on youtube that tells you where to get it for free. Then go to a website named "www.esnips.com" Type in a search for "SSJ4 Vegeta", and download the file. Then go back to Fighter Factory and export the SSJ4 Vegeta file. It's pretty simple, really. Oh, and that file also has a bunch of other badass effects as well. Also on esnips, you can search for other animated characters, and many of them have fantastic effects.

Well, I'll probably be remaking this, just to see how far I've improved. But although I appreciate the suggestions, I actually already have it planned out, in terms of who is the victor, and how they win.

Ah, the beam struggle part. Well, I got most of the effects from a Mugen program called "Fighter Factory". Then I edited them alittle on Flash.
It's a program called Machromedia Flash 8. You use whats called "motion tweens" these allow you to manipulate the movement of a sprite in pretty much any way you desire.
haha, thanks dude. I've actually decided to remake this vid, with my current skills, just to see how far I've advanced. I'm not doing it now, but I'll definitely get around to it.
Thank you. Go to the website in the description. Then type a search for "DBZ Sound Pack". Download that file, and it has not only those voices but almost any DBZ sound effect you can think of.

Wow it's super awesome for a sprite battle on flash.Most of the sprite "Goku vs Vegeta" fights i've seen only had blur and super mental crazy attacks and they recover as if it was nothing and in this one, attacks weren't as much repetitive and attacks that i never seen in sprite battles it's pretty darn good

well, it was my 1st sprite battle with that program, so I was quite inexperienced at the time. It was alittle challenging, but it was still pretty fun.

When you select a movie clip in the actual project, it should be in the "Properties" area. There should be 2 black bars near the bottom of the screen with the lowest one sectioned into "Properties: Filters: Parameters". Just select the movie clip, the the properties section, and the "Blend" option will be near the bottom right of that section.

Thanks dude. That was just a manipulation of the alpha. I put layers under the Vegeta sprite with far less alpha, and made them attack a few frames after the initial attack. It's quite easy, actually. And ufortunately I no longer have that program. I deleted it a few months ago. There sould be a tut on youtube that tells you where to download it for free.

Ah, thats a good choice. I always wanted to make a vid with Broly as well. Unfortunately, there aren't any Jump Stars styled models of him (those are my favorite types of sprites lol), so I'll have to make my own. Do you have flash?

don't worry. You just got it, so all you have to do is practice and you'll get it in no time. I don't have any tut vids but there's a ton of them for Flash on youtube. That's how I got started, and I learned it pretty quickly.

Yeah, I used Flash to make this. The logo in the corner is a converter. RUclips doesn't allow us to upload flash files (which sucks), so you have to convert it to the correct type of media file. Unfortunately, that symbol can't be removed. You'll see it on alot of flash vids like this one. At some point, you'll see it so often, that you won't even pay it any attention lol.

Hehe, well thank you. But I just want to try somethin different. This certainly will not be my last DBZ vid, so in the future there will certainly be another DBZ battle that will be even better. But regarding my next vid in specific, the will be no DBZ present.

I agree that it makes some movies better. But for this vid, I didn't want the camera to be too zoomed in at all times. I only wanted it zoomed in at specific scenes.
You convert each bitmap of the beam into a movie clip. Then go to the "Blend" option and select the "Lighten" or "Screen" and the black will disappear. But when you do this, make certain there is an image behind the beam sprites, otherwise you can't see it.

Well, I was tempted to put in more fighters, but then I decided to center it around just Goku and Vegeta. I figured that adding too many characters in one fight would take away from the central focus.
you would get them from a program called fighter factory, which allows you to get badass effects from a mugen character, that effect would be from hi res goku
Sprite database, I believe. The sprites for Piccolo, Gohan, Vegeta, Frieza, Buu, Gotenks, and Vegito should also be there. Just look under the game "Jump Super Stars".
I see. Thats actually a very good point. And yes, it would be quite strange for a terrible animation to be compared to that of Alvin Earthworm lol. I completely agree. I greatly appreciate the compliment, and rest assured that my next vid will have no such mistakes present.

well when I first got started, I used the tutorials from ifureadthisdie. His tut ivds are fantastic for beginners. I used them for a few days and after I made my Gohan Transformation vid, I learned the rest on my own. You can find him on either my friends list or subscribers list.

Someone recently asked me the same question. Check the reply I made to katou1100's post. He asked about beams, but the same technique works on any type of effect, including the aura.

Vegeta's final flash is stronger then kamahameha

it doesnt matter how strong the beam is what matters is wich charecter can bus the beam towards their opponent
