- We love trails, and Wyoming had some truly outstanding wild spaces to explore, but that's not the only reason we take the rescue horses on trail rides! Watch to see our ponies in action, often on their first trail rides ever, and learn all the reasons (besides stellar photo ops!) that we hit the trails with green horses before we post them for adoption!

Thank. You for this informative video, MSER. I'd forgotten about the need to train horses to ride around trees. A friend took her very calm, young, warm blood on a trail ride. The horse in front walked by a tree and caught on a branch. When it snapped back, the branch banged against my friend's helmet and the sound of the "thwack" spooked the horse. She had to hang on for dear life.
