10! :) Kewl stuff!
That lady was really going to shoot a whole ass rocket at a regular sized dog
Yep, glad it didn't happen

Mine was more, “Thank you. Now, if you excuse me…”
Yeah such a fare crab, 😂
Not sure if it's a coincidence, but this movie and Love, Death, and Robots both have some utterly terrifying depictions of giant crabs
LDR has some greeeat shorts. But I think the crab is probably my favorite. That thing was beyond terrifying.
@@butthand4342 despite it being big and terrifying I imagine it's rather gentle because it's more than content to live under the sea
Neal Asher wrote about these things in the "Polity" scifi novels. (That in the L.D.R was exactly from his novel)
Glad I’m not the only one who saw the similarity
There had already been giant crabs in fiction. Like that one from the futrure in the time machine novel.
Good thing the crab speaks English and has a conscience and a good heart.
They postulate in the film that with increased size, these creatures also have much larger brains. Despite the instinct to feed, I always believed that they got smarter and more 'sentient' as time went on.
It's so hard to find in a crustacean these days.
@@Frankie2012channel It also explains early on that you can see their intention in the eyes. Just because something can destroy something doesn't mean it always 100% will. It's like with stubborn large dogs, they often know their size and the advantages but also know instintively or by experience that abusing it will cause problems.
@@Frankie2012channelExactly, an example of this were dinosaurs, the big ones were super intelligent. An example of this was the Trex, which according to studies were as intelligent as chimpanzees
@@Antilight001not really, they were smart for dinosaurs, they weren’t ape smart.
2:26 Seeing how no one identifies the MUTO roar proves how underrated is Godzilla 2014
Ho! Nice catch, now that you mention it it IS the MUTO roar.
YO FACTS
I just think it's dumb how all these directors think that giant versions of animals who do nothing resembling "roaring" need to roar. It's cartoonish and not intimidating.
I knew this I was just to busy looking for a comment talking about it

I like that giant enemy crab becomes an ally at the end.
Nothing will convince me otherwise that this movie should have been rated R or more. We should have seen the brutality of these awesome designs in full action.
Agreed.
I wonder why it didn’t
@@dimitriwarchief301come on. You know why. A lot of kids love to see a faint monster fights
Eh, too many R rated movies use that as a selling point, skimping on developing an enjoyable story and visuals and just emphasizing gratuitous gore. Not all, but many.
If you want to See an R rated giant crab fight warch love death and robots. You will be satisfied
5:57 the dog's reaction 😆
What's funnier is the "chomp chomp" at 6:15.
This was such a great movie, so incredibly underrated and so very under promoted. I can't think of anyone who wouldn't be entirely entertained by this movie.
Totally it's atleast gotta become a cult classic

The giant crab is a good guy now
It is good (you can tell by the eyes), apparently the reason why it's hostile because it was being tortured by the cap and his team

Greetings from Miami. I have never seen any crab so big as that. Have you ever seen any that is as big as that?
It is good (you can tell by the eyes), apparently the reason why it's hostile because it was being tortured by the cap and his team
I like that they flinch away at 6:17 despite not seeing shit because of how far away they are
I felt bad for the crab 🦀 it didn’t want to hurt him it was being force too I am glad the crab didn’t die and he didn’t hurt the guy who saved him
Aw love this film! Silly but a whole lot of fun with heart.
I think its not silly
This movie is called "Love and Monsters" and it was surprisingly good. It wasn't gory and i don't recall any swear words. it was entertaining without being too dark.
Coulda gotten away with a pg rating
Yes the commander guy realizes that the DOG is the real threat and orders his person to shoot the rocket she had at the dog instead of the people fighting them. That's smart.
That's is a performance from them I love the performance and secondly this is the reason I love dogs they are really good in making things work out. Greetings from Miami how are you doing
Blame the script writing
@@user-gv3kk4ts9b Greetings how do you mean
The dog was what was making the crab pause. Shoot the dog, the crab advances, the people fighting them are dead. Seems reasonable to me.
are you dumb? what makes you think that they're on the same side? he's literally controlling the crab
For those asking the movie is "Love and Monsters" from 2020. Great scenery in the Gold Coast hinterland. It's a fun movie that does a good job and doesn't take itself too seriously.
4:17 the crab is still relatively gentle when it caught him by the leg
Having gotten an extremely painful pinch from a crab that was only the size of a billiard ball, a crab this big could easily break that leg or Chop It Off if it was really motivated
Not even chop: the fella definitely had the grip strength to **crush** the leg into two.
It was a good thing this was a reluctant fella. Given by how fast and merciless he was on the boat, most of them wouldn't have stood a chance.
Easy ten out of ten. Saw the whole movie. Watch it. Totally worth the price of admission.
Called ? Please 🙏
Damn straight
a crab roaring is more like 3 of ten
i just saw the first minute of this clip and yeah, can totally tell why
Hmm almost every review site out seems to have an average of it being a 6 or a 7. Now, do I believe those reviews from the average of thousands of people combined, or the opinion of a complete stranger on RUclips?
I think you're lying to me.
Poor crab but he's free now 🥺🥰
That was so big, I have never seen a crab that's so big as that have seen that seize of crab before? Greetings from Miami
@@susanaobeid6770 they existed in pre historic times
Was a better movie than it had any right being, very much enjoyed it simple straight forward story telling, nice change of pace.
It's a Giant enemy crab, hit its weak point for massive damage.
but it’s not an enemy anymore?
@Colocow
Its a reference to the infamous launch of the PS3 console at E3
That was so big, I have never seen a big crab as that. Have seen that before?
This is based on famous battles which actually took place in ancient Japan.
@@atomic_wait wow the crap was so big. Did this ever happened. greetings from Miami where are you from
To be honest, this is probably the most accurate ending a movie has given us, a creature of that size is most certainly sentient, and realizes that humans can do both harm and good for them depending on their actions
this is the real reason why Squidward doesn’t want to work at the krusty crabs.
"Oh shit, we're gonna die, we're dying."
The bad guys are awfully accepting of their deaths, they just stand there waiting for it. Does that big ship not work or something? Why did they go to it?
The ship had no fuel for years. They were using the crab to tow it around
The fact that crab move forward insted of sideways is what makes it hellcrab
It's the work of the devil!
That has to be the kindest monster being I ever seen that is super impressive
what about the boulder snails they're kind as well
@@samanthapatrick4345 agree those counts

“Oh shit we’re gonna die, we’re dying.”
Literally any movie I see him in I'm automatically gonna think Percy Jackson
Different actor
He’s from maze runner
I love how this almost pays tribute to classic films about giant crabs.
"Attack of the Crab Monsters" featured a pair of giant intelligent crabs capable of deep thoughts, witty decisions, and even speech
'The mysterious island' featured a giant crab that didn't only walk left and right, and was able to move forward and backward
I love how they used a bit of the mutos roar for the crab

I think this movie won an academy award for best movie ever!
That’s really cool, I never seen it but the crab is amazing 😅
I hope not lol
It was good but not that good 😂
its a good movie but went way under the radar so it would be a surpries since no one wouldve saw it
Those villagers even they are darn old but their eyes are so damn sharp they could see the main villain got eaten so far away
I saw "Bad Travelling" on "Love, Death and Robots" before I saw this. Not all giant crabs are good.
You can tell by the eyes.
This thing is really good! Caught the thumbnail and came to check out that crab monster. Now I gotta find the movie. A 9 at least!
So? Do u like the movie?
It hits me now that this giant hellCrab could look like those in the "Polity", a world created by Neal Asher, a scifi writer...in his books giant crabs fought against humans in space wars. Sooo, this is how they would look like...I wish they made some movies from those novels...
That last bite was bit tasty too - Holy Crab...
At 2:38 that hellcrab sounded like a MUTO from godzilla
6:16 they have really good eyesight 😂
I like how he yells "I'm sorry I yelled at you!" and even though the dog just barks back, you can tell he's saying "Already forgiven!"

Aimee was whooping dat ass tho @2:55 lol I was happy too cuz Dana was pissin me off
I like how the crab smiles before ending that blonde haired guy
Ooh... The craby has a sweet eyes. He's good guy! 🤣😂
"All cold blooded creatures mutated"
Saltwater crocodile and great white shark are having a death battle worthy of godzilla movie
0:28 I like how kinetic energy just stops being a thing when it's the protagonist
You are one of those people that learned physics from movies are you? Those bullets, pellets, or whatever they are in this particular case, are not capable to throw back or even stop a 60-65 kg human running forward. Shotguns, pistols, or weapons in general making people fly away when the got hit is just a movie thing, real life physics doesn't work that way.
That's Hollyweird magic 🤷♂
@@jekyll011 Lol what world do you live in? Obviously not real life. Obviously she wouldn't go "flying" but a shotgun blast to that metal sheet shes holding from that close would knock her on her ass
@@jekyll011 ruclips.net/video/tMMSA3opBk4/видео.html heres a real life example. It'd be no different for her holding the shield
@@shekelman2265 You just showed an exapmle that proves my point, nice work. He didn't expect to be hit with anything, yet the bullet didn't pushed him in any direction, he most likely just got shocked by the sudden impact and fall DOWN (not sideways) to the ground, and then without any delay just get up. Replace the bodY armor with a WAY thicker and heavier steel plate, ( not on your chest but in your hand, holding in front of you, which also can help absorb the impact as your hand and muscles are flexible) while running in the direction of the coming pellets with all of your momentum AND expect the hits.
Completely absurd & unreal- but gripping & enjoyable!
No shit it's a movie.

The people on the beach watching the giant crab destroy their only means of getting off that deserted island.........

The effect here is old, but the method appears to be new. I particularly like the fact that the rings go onto the rod one at a time.

I would sure not like to run into that crab! He seems a little scary! :o
This is Mr. Krabs’ monster form at the Bikini Bottom Horror, SpongeBob’s first horror movie.
Mr. Krabs turns to this crab monster and kills one of the Patricks, telling them that crabs eat starfish. Patrick reveals that the krabby patty secret formula is starfish meat. The Patricks took Mr. Krabs apart and fed him a raw Krabby Patty. When Sandy and Squidward meet Mr. Krabs, a tiny Patrick (born from the raw krabby patty) busts out of the crab’s chest, killing him in progress.
Like how everyone is obsessed with
The dog in the movie.
Reminds me back in the days when we went crab diving. They were not this big, but there were lots of them.
Thought it was a remake of Mysterious Island but they roasted that crab in a boiling fumarole. My bad.
That ended unexpectedly good honestly.
